Abstract

On décrit un système de télévision numérique interactif qui est configuré pour accumuler des informations relatives aux habitudes d'écoute au moyen du suivi des transactions du téléspectateur et de l'élaboration des préférences du téléspectateur pour adapter à ce dernier le contenu des programmes. Les informations recherchées par des stations réceptrices (13) individuelles sont stockées dans un coffret d'abonné et transmises périodiquement à une station émettrice (12). Les informations recherchées par la station émettrice (12) sont accumulées et combinées à des informations reçues en provenance des stations réceptrices (13). Les informations sont utilisées pour définir les préférences du téléspectateur qui, à leur tour, sont utilisées pour filtrer le contenu d'un signal de programme avant et/ou après l'envoi du signal par la station émettrice aux stations réceptrices pour orienter ainsi vers des téléspectateurs particuliers les programmes qui semblent le plus les intéresser.
