DISPOSIçãO CONSTRUTIVA EM EQUIPAMENTOS E MéTODOS APLICADOS A CIRTOMETRIA TORáCICA compreendendo pelo menos uma cinta inelástica cingindo a caixa torácica do paciente, as extremidades de dita cinta estando afixadas a um dispositivo sensor de movimento que transforma em sinais elétricos o deslizamento entre ditas extremidades, deslizamento que decorre da expansão e a contração da caixa torácica durante a respiração. A saída de dito dispositivo sensor de movimento está acoplada à entrada de um dispositivo codificador, dotado de microprocessador, que converte ditos sinais elétricos em informações digitalmente codificadas. Estas informações podem ser processadas e exibidas num display associado a dito codificador, ou encaminhadas a um microcomputador padrão que, através de software específico, é capaz de tratar, armazenar e exibir os dados em tabelas, gráficos ou em qualquer forma.CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT IN EQUIPMENT AND METHODS APPLIED TO THORACIC CIRTOMETRY comprising at least one inelastic strap surrounding the patient's ribcage, the ends of said strap being affixed to a motion sensing device which turns the slip between said ends into electrical signals; expansion and contraction of the ribcage during breathing.
