Abstract

"MULTIPLEXADOR DE ACESSO ADSL LIGADO à ETHERNET E AO SISTEMA DE REDE ADSL QUE EMPREGA O MESMO". A exposição refere-se a um multiplexador de acesso a uma linha de assinante digital assimétrica (ADSL), conectado diretamente à Ethernet existente, e a um sistema de rede ADSL que emprega o multiplexador de acesso à ADSL. O sistema de rede ADSL exclui um servidor de acesso à rede (NAS) convencional e conecta o multiplexador de acesso à ADSL diretamente à Ethernet, descentralizando assim os processos de autenticação, imposição de tarifas e tráfego para uma rede local correspondente. Por conseguinte, o problema de centralização do tráfego levantado pelo NAS convencional é resolvido prontamente. Além disto, o multiplexador de acesso à ADSL de acordo com a invenção inclui também um programa de cliente de serviço de usuário de discagem de autenticação remoto (RADIUS), pelo que os processos de autenticação e imposição de tarifa são realizados de maneira muito facilmente."ADSL ACCESS MULTIPLEXER CONNECTED TO ETHERNET AND THE ADSL NETWORK SYSTEM USING IT".
