"PROCESSO DE ARMAZENAR UMA DISC-ID SOBRE UM PORTADOR DE REGISTRO, APARELHOS PARA LEITURA DE UM PORTADOR DE REGISTRO E PARA ESCREVER UM PORTADOR DE REGISTRO, E, PORTADOR DE REGISTRO" A invenção refere-se a um processo de armazenar uma disc-ID sobre um portador de registro compreendendo trilhas nas quais informações podem ser armazenadas. Esta disc-ID compreende um número fixo predeterminado de bits de disc-ID. Os bits de disc-ID são armazenados sobre o portador de registro de uma maneira dispersa. Por exemplo, os bits de disc-ID podem ser armazenados em grupos de um bit de disc-ID e em posições reservadas para armazenar bits não associados a dados. A invenção adicionalmente refere-se a um aparelho para leitura do portador de registro com a disc-ID dispersa, e a um portador de registro.
