Comme déjà décrit dans les brevets mentionnés ci-dessus, ces informations sont immédiatement affichées sur un écran (de télévision par exemple) suite à l'insertion de la cassette dans l'appareil d'enregistrement vidéo.

  
Or, pour connaître le titre de chaque

  
cassette et/ou pour connaître la longueur de la bande encore disponible pour de nouveaux enregistrements,

  
il est nécessaire d'introduire tour à tour chaque

  
cassette dans l'enregistreur vidéo.

  
Ceci devient vite laborieux si l'utilisateur

  
a plusieurs cassettes.

  
Le but de la présente invention est de

  
remédier à cet inconvénient à l'aide d'un moyen

  
simple et fiable. 

  
En vue de la réalisation de ce but, l'appareil enregistreur contient une mémoire de préférence non volatile qui stocke pour une série de cadettes des données relatives au contenu de la mémoire située dans chaque cassette.

  
De préférence la mémoire montée dans l'appareil enregistreur est du même type que celle située dans les cassettes.

  
La figure 1 est un schéma d'un dispositif de commande d'un appareil enregistreur suivant le schéma représenté sur la figure 12 du brevet belge No 879.620 déposé le 25 octobre 1979 et celui de la figure 2 du brevet belge No 886.249 déposé le 19 novembre 1980.

Comme le montre cette figure 1 annexée

  
à la présente, la mémoire non volatile 50 (du type ER 1400) située dans la cassette 51 est reliée à l'interface du microprocesseur 60 par l'intermédiaire du connecteur à lamelles 57.

  
Conformément à l'invention, on prévoit le montage dans l'appareil enregistreur d'une autre mémoire non volatile 150 avantageusement du même type que celle 50 située dans la cassette 51 de façon à utiliser le même interface.

  
Cette mémoire 150 est reliée au microprocesseur 60 qui assure la gestion des différentes mémoires 50 incorporées aux cassettes.

  
Dans ces conditions, chaque fois qu'une nouvelle cassette 51 est introduite dans l'enregistreur et éditée (titre, numéro) par l'utilisateur, ces informations sont transmises à la mémoire appareil 150. La capacité disponible pour des enregistrements sur chaque cassette est également transmise à cette mémoire, laquelle réalise ainsi  <EMI ID=2.1>
