Description
La présente invention se rapporte à des modifications et à des améliorations apportées aux dispositifs de mémorisation décrits et mis sous protection dans le brevet principal No 871.596 du
27 octobre 1978 et dans les brevets de perfectionnement y rattachés.
Dans ces brevets antérieurs est décrite l'utilisation d'une mémoire non volatile installée
dans chaque cassette de bande magnétique et destinée

à la cassette, telles que :
- titre et numéro de la cassette
- position instantanée de la bande magnétique
- nombre, titre, et position de chaque enregistrement effectué
- longueur de bande encore disponible pour de nouveaux enregistrements
- caractéristiques de la cassette et/ou de la bande magnétique
- etc...
Comme déjà décrit dans les brevets mentionnés ci-dessus, ces informations sont immédiatement affichées sur un écran (de télévision par exemple) suite à l'insertion de la cassette dans l'appareil d'enregistrement vidéo.
Or, pour connaître le titre de chaque
cassette et/ou pour connaître la longueur de la bande encore disponible pour de nouveaux enregistrements,
il est nécessaire d'introduire tour à tour chaque
cassette dans l'enregistreur vidéo.
Ceci devient vite laborieux si l'utilisateur
a plusieurs cassettes.
Le but de la présente invention est de
remédier à cet inconvénient à l'aide d'un moyen
simple et fiable.
En vue de la réalisation de ce but, l'appareil enregistreur contient une mémoire de préférence non volatile qui stocke pour une série de cadettes des données relatives au contenu de la mémoire située dans chaque cassette.
De préférence la mémoire montée dans l'appareil enregistreur est du même type que celle située dans les cassettes.
La figure 1 est un schéma d'un dispositif de commande d'un appareil enregistreur suivant le schéma représenté sur la figure 12 du brevet belge No 879.620 déposé le 25 octobre 1979 et celui de la figure 2 du brevet belge No 886.249 déposé le 19 novembre 1980.
Les différents éléments communs portent les mêmes références.
Comme le montre cette figure 1 annexée
à la présente, la mémoire non volatile 50 (du type ER 1400) située dans la cassette 51 est reliée à l'interface du microprocesseur 60 par l'intermédiaire du connecteur à lamelles 57.
Conformément à l'invention, on prévoit le montage dans l'appareil enregistreur d'une autre mémoire non volatile 150 avantageusement du même type que celle 50 située dans la cassette 51 de façon à utiliser le même interface.
Cette mémoire 150 est reliée au microprocesseur 60 qui assure la gestion des différentes mémoires 50 incorporées aux cassettes.
Dans ces conditions, chaque fois qu'une nouvelle cassette 51 est introduite dans l'enregistreur et éditée (titre, numéro) par l'utilisateur, ces informations sont transmises à la mémoire appareil 150. La capacité disponible pour des enregistrements sur chaque cassette est également transmise à cette mémoire, laquelle réalise ainsi <EMI ID=2.1>
pertoriées en indiquant leur contenu (titres) et la durée d'enregistrement encore disponible sur chacune des faces.
Lorsque l'appareil vidéo est mis sous tension, automatiquement le microprocesseur 60 assure la lecture et l'affichage des informations contenues dans la "mémoire-appareil" 150 de telle sorte que l'utilisateur ait connaissance, comme illustré à la figure 2 :
1. du titre et du numéro de chaque cassette répertoriée (il peut alors directement introduire
la cassette désirée)
2. de la capacité d'enregistrement encore disponible pour chaque cassette répertoriée (il peut alors immédiatement décider si le programme

cassette donnée ou s'il doit utiliser une nouvelle cassette).
Il en résulte :
- un gain de temps considérable pour la sélection et la gestion des cassettes vidéo répertoriées
- un accès plus rapide à un programme contenu dans une des cassettes faisant partie d'une série de cassettes vidéo répertoriées
- aucun accroissement du prix puisqu'on utilise le même interface et le même microprocesseur.
Bien entendu , d'autres informations peuvent être stockées dans cette mémoire sans pour autant sortir du cadre de l'invention.

Preferably the memory mounted in the recording device is of the same type as that located in the cassettes.
Figure 1 is a diagram of a control device of a recording apparatus according to the diagram shown in Figure 12 of Belgian patent No 879,620 filed October 25, 1979 and that of Figure 2 of Belgian patent No 886,249 filed November 19 1980.

As shown in this attached figure 1
here, the non-volatile memory 50 (of the ER 1400 type) located in the cassette 51 is connected to the interface of the microprocessor 60 via the lamellar connector 57.
According to the invention, provision is made for mounting in the recording device another non-volatile memory 150 advantageously of the same type as that 50 located in the cassette 51 so as to use the same interface.
This memory 150 is connected to the microprocessor 60 which ensures the management of the various memories 50 incorporated in the cassettes.
Under these conditions, each time a new cassette 51 is introduced into the recorder and edited (title, number) by the user, this information is transmitted to the device memory 150. The capacity available for recordings on each cassette is also transmitted to this memory, which thus realizes <EMI ID = 2.1>
