Abstract

The new packaging system is especially for powders or pastes of foodstuffs such as soluble coffee, tea, chocolate, lemonade, drinks, concentrated fruit juices, medicinal extracts, vitamin complexes etc. The basic shape of the package is approximately spoon-like punched out of a continuous strip with a bowl-shaped depression to retain the powder or paste and with a perforated cover to seal the contents against spillage but to permit them to dissolve when required for use.
