Security Application - Argo.
Argo is a computer software operating across all desktop and mobile platforms that has been designed for coordinating security services, by developing software that enables a customer to request or schedule, dispatch, pay for and view the response of security guards to commercial and residential premises. From a security guards perspective it allows a suitably qualified and registered security guard to join the Argo ecosystem by creating their own personal account, view which security jobs are currently available, and then accept and attend to those requests before confirming its completion and accepting payment.

The subject invention relates to communications and technology, more particularly, their involvement in relation to submitting services from customers to mobile ongoing or one-off security services.

Many mobile phone devices today come equipped with components that enable users to become aware of their location on a map and communicate this location to others. With the current longterm and restrictive contracts that security companies impose on their customers, we are developing a way to not only make the cost of security for companies, residents, strata management companies more affordable, but alsolook to take advantage of this technology to provide a more flexible, responsive and transparent model to the one currently on offer.
One of the primary disadvantages of the current security providers model is that it locks customers into a contract often of 1 to 3 years in length. In this contract they are restricted to using the one security provider for the entirety of that contract regardless of their performance. During that time the feedback and information flow from security provider to customer is often limited or non-existent, and if the customer wishes to change the type of security service or even security guard used by the provider often, this is not an option.
In today's society police resources are stretched to their capacity, regardless of your geographical location. Another shortfall in the current model is if a more urgent response is required or security is required to be fluid, responsive or flexible, often this is also not an option. If a low priority policing job has been lodged it may never be attended too or response will be after the need for the service has passed. Therefore, for private security to fill that policing response void, the current model is needs to change.
We seekto create an automated security response software that negates all these shortfalls and provides customers with a private security platform sharing information and services across a community, that emulates a policing model and response service, and allows customers to request security services of any type whenever they need and to respond to 'low priority' traditional policing requests when required. The software will also allow customers to rate their security providers which will publicly viewable and provide a guide for future customers of the service.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The four main users of the service are listed below;
1. A registered and accredited Security Company providing registered, trained, and accredited security guards and services. 2. A registered, trained, and accredited Security Guard working for a registered and accredited Security Company. 3. A registered, trained, and accredited Security Guard working as a sole trader under their own Master Security Licence. 4. Commercial premises that requires ad hoc or regular security services. 5. A customer, either a resident of a house or strata complex, a business or any member of the public that requires security services. 6. A strata management or complex / facilities management company or administrator.

The method involves a customer registering an account with the software application. Once registered the customer can determine their security needs meaning either mobile, static, regular or adhoc security response from a registered and accredited provider.
If requesting a mobile service or response to a particular incident in progress, the customer has the ability to log onto the application or web portal and identify security providers and guards currently in the vicinity in a position to respond and their current location. At this point the customer can view the guard's rates, services and ratings from previous customers and then select the security responder that best suits their needs. The customer can also follow the same process to request static or regular mobile security services on an ongoing and regular basis which can be altered or cancelled at any time.
In the first example of a customer requesting a security response to an incident in progress, once the service is selected the job is sent to the guard who then accepts the request. The security guard's location is then shared with the customer who can then track their progress and activity similarto that experienced when ordering fast food delivery or a ride share service. The application also provides directional guidance, security advice and access to information regarding the incident location such as site maps with the security guard to assist them in their duties. Once the guard has responded and completed their taskings, they will close the job which cancels the sharing of their location, and be compelled to complete a report in relation to their observations, actions and decisions which will then be forwarded to the customer, strata / complex manager as well as the security company they work for, all through the platform.
The above features and advantages of the invention are readily apparent from description of the invention and when taken in combination of their capabilities, features and services provided to an end user whether they be security company, security guard, strata / complex administrator or customer requiring security services, provide a solution, service and technical platform that is not currently available.
The present invention also relates to a real-time, security request matching system for and method of matching persons registered as customers and requiring a security response or service to persons registered as security providers and available to consider providing security. Each of the security customers having a mobile communicator or computer for making security requests and each of the security guards and providers having a mobile communicator for addressing and responding to security requests.
For many reasons' governmental bodies and law enforcement agencies seek to increase the involvement in participation and assistance from multiple areas including members of the public to assist in crime prevention. Private security providers play a key role in this service with traditional law enforcement roles being replaced by privately contracted security guard to either replace or work in conjunction with a police presence. This is demonstrated in government buildings, the public transport network, hospitals and sporting and major events. Another technologically enhanced capabilityto assist government bodies maintain law and order and ensure their constituents feel safe in their own homes. Some of the lower level policing tasks could be re-routed through the platform to allow police to respond to

more dangerous or pressing matters. Instead of contacting police for these types of requests they could be directed to a nearby qualified security responder. The information collected from all of these security requests call also be analysed and turned into valuable intelligence that could also be provided to law enforcement to increase and enhance the crime fighting abilities of the local police department.
An example of this type of service could be a report from a resident of a unit complex of a suspicious person loitering around park vehicles in the underground parking area of the site. If local police currently have a lot of requests for their services, this type of call could take up to a few hours for police to respond to the incident, often after the person has already left the scene or worse, after the offence has been committed. In this model the resident or even the police service themselves could request a local security guard already in the area to respond to this request, which could potentially occur within minutes, therefore providing a much more responsive crime deterrent response and also greatly increasing the satisfaction of the customer and achieving most governments need to provide a safe living environment.
This platform allows for not only allows for these types of services to be provided, but also for the customer or complex management to arrange for ongoing and regular security services for their premises such as scheduled mobile patrols right up to permanent static guard services for a number of guards on a rotational 24 hour 7 day a week response service, further enhancing the crime deterrent factor for that area.
This kind of service is not currently available to the community because of the lack of technology required to co-ordinate and manage this kind of response and service. We have drawn on previous law enforcement experience to create an unprecedented solution that assists security companies, residents, strata management companies to make security services more affordable, flexible, responsive and a truly transparent model and makes it available to the entire community.
The innovation comes in the computer software's capability for coordinating security services, namely, software for the automated scheduling, dispatch, selection, rating and response of security guards and services to commercial and residential premises.
