Description

AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 BEAUNIX CO., LTD. COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT Invention Title: Music-synchronized low frequency stimulator The following statement is a full description of this invention including the best method of performing it known to us:- BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention 5 The present invention relates to a music--synchronized low frequency stimulator, and in particular, to a music-synchronized low frequency stimulator that is capable of stimulating and medically curing the nerves of a certain portion of a human body by outputting music such as classical music, pop song, folk song, etc. and generating a low frequency electric pulse in synchronization with the outputted 10 music. 2. Description of the Background Art Generally, people listen to music and sing using a cassette tape recorder, a CD, a broadcast station of AM/FM, an audio device, an MP3 player, a sound 15 output device such as Karaoke, etc. According to a study in psychoanalysis, a person feels the most peace and comfort in a mother's amniotic fluid pocket. In music therapy, it is known that water-based music largely influences human health. When a person is tired of studying or feels stress, listening to music such as Reflets dans l'eau by Claude Debussy, Jeux d'Eau by M. Ravel, water music by 20 Handel, etc. or to record the sounds of water or nature and listen to the same is said to help provide rest and energy to the body and mind. In addition, it is known that life activity or social life of a person has a certain cycle. Here, riding the above cycle is called "String" which is a technical term. When a person listens to a waltz, the person may feel a massage effect as 25 dynamic rhythm is well matched with the tired mind and body. When a person 1A listens to Sabre Dance by Aram Khachaturian, the person may feel increased strength in his body. So, anxiety, impatience, frustration, etc. that people living in the modern era feel may disappear by listening to calm, slow, dynamic or fast music, so that people may feel more comfort, rest and stability in mind. 5 In addition, a low frequency therapy device using a low frequency voltage pulse has been developed for enhancing blood circulation. The low frequency therapy device increases DC power to generate a low frequency signal around 100hz or less, and the above output is connected with conducting pads "+" and "-". The conducting pads are in direct contact with the person, so that the low 10 frequency electric pulse can stimulate the human body. The low frequency therapy device is placed at acupuncture spots of a human body or a portion where the person feels muscle pain to obtain a certain therapy effect. In the low frequency therapy device, an output level may be adjusted in 15 accordance with the control of a microcontroller that operates based on a method similar to volume level control. The above output levels can be adjusted without set levels, but a digital control that utilizes microcontroller has not yet been obtained. Since the above output level is controlled based on an analog method, it is inconvenient to use. 20 When the control and indication are performed using a microcontroller, it is possible to advantageously implement various controls, classified indications for expressing a control state and automated therapy courses which are performed in multiple stages. According to the conventional art, in an output setting unit which sets a low 25 frequency output of a microcontroller and variably controls the output, because 2 3 different resistances are formed using potential divide resistors at four output ports of a microcontroller to adjust the potential divide ratio, it is possible to control the amplitude of an input power of a low frequency output unit. The output can be set to ten different levels that are a combined ratio of the 5 potential divide resistors at four points. The above low frequency therapy device is designed to stimulate the nerves using finger pressure protrusions or conductive pads that are attached to a foot sole or a portion of the human body. Because the conventional low frequency therapy device is designed to randomly generate low frequencies 10 and stimulate the nerves of each portion of a human body, it is impossible to obtain a desired stimulation effect. When it is used for a long period of time, the user may feel discomfort, so that a desired therapy effect cannot be obtained. Any discussion of documents, acts, materials, devices, articles or the like which has been included in the present specification is solely for the purpose of 15 providing a context for the present invention. It is not to be taken as an admission that any or all of these matters form part of the prior art base or were common general knowledge in the field relevant to the present invention as it existed before the priority date of each claim of this application.
