Description
Description 1 STRINGLESS TAMPON Ever since tampons were invented they have had a string approximately fifteen centimetres long for the purpose of removing the tampon. This invention has been specially devised with no unsightly strings, improved hygiene and comfort and the freedom to wear what you want without embarrassing moments.
The stringless tampon is constructed in a similar way to the conventional tampon however replacing the string with a flexible, durable, clear latex/rubber ring at the base of the tampon protruding approximately two centimetres and one centimetre in diameter.
Insertion of the tampon is the same as a conventional tampon however removal is facilitated by hooking a finger through the ring and withdrawing the tampon.
The stringless tampon can be inserted such that the rubber ring protrudes (for easier removal) and can also be inserted such that the ring is not visible (appropriate for nude models, nudist colonies, exotic dancers, ballerinas etc.) The stringless tampon is made from cotton wool rolled into a cylindrical shape about five centimetres long and approximately one and a half centimetres wide.
The invention may be better understood with reference to the illustrations.
Figure 1 is a three dimensional diagram of the stringless tampon.
Figure 1.1 is the cotton material for the absorption of fluids.
Figure 1.2 is the length of latex/rubber to allow figure 1.3 (ring) to be protruding if desired.
Figure 1.3 is the flexible latex /rubber ring to allow easy removal.
Figure 2 is the stringless tampon prior to being rolled into its cylindrical shape that is figure 1.
Figure 2.1 is the absorbent cotton prior to being rolled into a cylindrical shape.
Figure 2.2 is the extension of latex/rubber looped around the cotton to ensure entire removal.
Claims (3)
1. A tampon comprising of the cotton cylinder and a discreet latex-rubber ring for removal.
2. With the stringless tampon the use of latex-rubber as opposed to a cotton string reduces risk of infection by urine not being absorbed on the rubber as it does with a cotton string. Further it eliminates the discomfort of a damp string in ones underwear.
3. The stringless tampon is ideal for reducing instances of embarrassment due to the fact that the latex-rubber ring can be fully inserted to be completely concealed or protruding such that it is obscure due to being clear- flesh coloured and small.
