Abstract

A USB connecting apparatus includes D+ and D- optical communication modules. The D+ optical communication module, which is connected between D+ data terminals of transceivers, converts a D+ electrical signal from the D+ data terminal of the first or second transceiver into a D+ optical signal and transmits the D+ optical signal, and restores the transmitted D+ optical signal to a D+ electrical signal and inputs the D+ electrical signal to the D+ data terminal of the second or first transceiver. The D- optical communication module, which is connected between D- data terminals of the transceivers, converts a D- electrical signal from the D- data terminal of the first or second transceiver into a D- optical signal and transmits the D- optical signal, and restores the transmitted D- optical signal to a D- electrical signal and inputs the D- electrical signal to the D- data terminal of the second or first transceiver.
