Abstract
The igniter comprises a first sub-assembly (1) containing a pyrotechnic charge (3) and a second interface sub-assembly (2) with an electro-thermal bridge (12) in contact with a primer compound. The two sub-assemblies can be made from the same or different plastic materials. The electro-thermal bridge is located on a raised end (5) on the second sub-assembly, while its opposite face has electrical connecting pins (4) for the bridge, surrounded by a peripheral wall (7) of at least the same height. The pyrotechnic charge comprises at least one compound, and can be in the form of particles or pellets.
