Abstract
The invention relates to an automation system (58) for the home and for buildings, designed to integrally control domestic installations including alarm, security and surveillance equipment with the aid of room and/or personnel surveillance. Said system comprises sensors (14) for generating an output signal for actuators (82), installations (86) controlled by an actuator (82), or groups of installations and also comprises computers (56), equipped with software for controlling the automation system (58). At least one sensor (14) with an electronics system comprises an electric power supply in the form of photoelectric cells (16), a power accumulator (18) and a communication module (20) for signal transmission, said module operating in a wireless manner and thus forms an autonomous sensor and control unit (SU). This is preferably located on a detachably fixed or displaceable item of furniture (10), decoration (28) or equipment. An object of this type is for example a picture or mirror frame (12), a cupboard, a bookcase or a piece of art.
