Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Una mezcla acuosa para el tratamiento de semillas que comprende: un componente activo agrícola; y una formulación aglutinante, donde dicha formulación aglutinante comprende: de aproximadamente el 5% a aproximadamente el 50% de un portador de látex en peso; y de aproximadamente el 1% a aproximadamente el 40% de una cera en peso; en donde dicha formulación aglutinante está sustancialmente libre de materiales particulados inorgánicos añadidos; en donde dicho portador de látex comprende un copolímero a base de estireno-acrilato. Reivindicación 5: La mezcla de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde dicho portador de látex comprende de aproximadamente el 30% a aproximadamente el 60% en peso de dicho copolímero a base de estireno-acrilato. Reivindicación 7: La mezcla de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde dicho copolímero es copolímero aleatorio que comprende comonómeros de estireno, comonómeros de acrilato de butilo, comonómeros de acrilonitrilo y comonómeros de ácido acrílico. Reivindicación 13: La mezcla de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde el componente activo agrícola comprende un ingrediente pesticida. Reivindicación 14: La mezcla de acuerdo la reivindicación 13, en donde el ingrediente pesticida se selecciona del grupo que consiste en un insecticida, un fungicida y combinaciones de ellos. Reivindicación 15: La mezcla de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde la cera se selecciona del grupo que consiste en cera natural, cera vegetal, cera mineral y cera sintética. Reivindicación 22: Un método para protección de una semilla de plagas que comprende la aplicación a una semilla viable de una cantidad efectiva de una mezcla de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1.Claim 1: An aqueous seed treatment mixture comprising: an active agricultural component; and a binder formulation, wherein said binder formulation comprises: from about 5% to about 50% of a latex carrier by weight; and from about 1% to about 40% of a wax by weight; wherein said binder formulation is substantially free of added inorganic particulates; wherein said latex carrier comprises a styrene-acrylate based copolymer. Claim 5: The mixture according to claim 1, wherein said latex carrier comprises from about 30% to about 60% by weight of said styrene-acrylate-based copolymer. Claim 7: The mixture according to claim 1, wherein said copolymer is a random copolymer comprising styrene comonomers, butyl acrylate comonomers, acrylonitrile comonomers and acrylic acid comonomers. Claim 13: The mixture according to claim 1, wherein the active agricultural component comprises a pesticidal ingredient. Claim 14: The mixture according to claim 13, wherein the pesticidal ingredient is selected from the group consisting of an insecticide, a fungicide and combinations thereof. Claim 15: The mixture according to claim 1, wherein the wax is selected from the group consisting of natural wax, vegetable wax, mineral wax and synthetic wax. Claim 22: A method for protecting a pest seed comprising the application to a viable seed of an effective amount of a mixture according to claim 1.
