- light extraction technology based on the patterns formed by enamel or ink coating on the glass surface is commonly used in the prior art.
- a non-illuminated state normal state
- the observed pattern is monotonic because the enamel used has only one color (typically completely opaque white color) .
- the different lighting effects can only be achieved by controlling a light source to provide dynamic illumination or change the color of the pattern.
- the pattern already formed on the glass body cannot be changed, let alone removed.
- the existing manners of forming patterns described above are not satisfactory to manufacturers and consumers.
- the doodle glass assembly comprises: a glass body having at least one surface on which a light extraction material is capable of being applied to form a pattern and from which the light extraction material is capable of being removed; a light source configured to be capable of emitting incident light into the glass body; a toning input interface configured to receive a non-contact toning input; wherein when the light source emits the incident light into the glass body, the incident light is totally reflected in the glass body and is extracted at the light extraction material applied to the at least one surface to be guided out of the glass body to form a luminous pattern, and a color of the incident light emitted by the light source is configured to be capable of changing in response to the toning input, and a color of the luminous pattern changes as the color of the incident light changes.
- the glass assembly With the doodle glass assembly (hereinafter referred to as the glass assembly) of the present disclosure, by applying the light extraction material on the glass body, the user can use the glass body as a drawing board to design and draw a pattern (doodle) on his/her own, and when the pattern is not needed or the pattern is modified, the light extraction material can also be removed from the glass body, which is particularly suitable for creative children and adults and can fully exhibit personality and is full of interest. It effectively improves the use experience of driver and passenger when applied to the vehicle window glass.
- the glass assembly can be in an illuminated state or a non-illuminated state by turning on or off a light source that emits incident light into the glass body, wherein the glass assembly is in the illuminated state when the light source is turned on and the glass assembly is in the non-illuminated state when the light source is turned off.
- the light extraction material for forming a pattern will extract the light transmitted in the glass body and then guide it out of the glass body, so that the human eye can observe an illuminated luminous pattern, and the sense of experience is richer.
- the manner of drawing a pattern on the vehicle window glass helps to attract children, thereby keeping them quiet during the travel, which further improves the audience of the glass assembly product.
- the glass assembly of the present disclosure encompasses single-layer glass body and laminated glass having multiple layers of glass body, and the light extraction material may be directly applied to the surface of the glass body to form the pattern.
- the glass assembly of the present disclosure can also change the color of the pattern already formed on the glass body through a non-contact toning input, specifically, it can change the color of the incident light, which further enriches the color of the pattern in the illuminated state.
- the at least one surface of the glass body may have a hydrophilic coating or a lipophilic coating, which makes it easier for the light extraction material to adhere to the surface of the glass body, and the pattern is not easily physically damaged after the light extraction material is applied to form the pattern, but is easily removed by a specific, e.g., hydrophilic solvent or lipophilic solvent.
- the at least one surface of the glass body may have a micro-roughened structure.
- This may be achieved by providing process treatment to the surface of the glass body to make it have the micro-roughened structure (for example, a micro-roughened texture) , so that the light extraction material can also more easily adhere to the surface of the glass body, and the pattern is not easily physically damaged after the light extraction material is applied to form the pattern, but is easily removed by a specific, e.g., hydrophilic solvent or lipophilic solvent.
- the micro-roughened structure on the at least one surface is invisible to the naked eye and does not affect the light transmittance and clarity of the glass body.
- the above process treatment may include laser machining, physical rubbing, chemical etching, or a suitable similar process treatment.
- the present disclosure also provides a visual effect different from the conventional illuminating glass. That is, when the light source is turned off and it is in the non-illuminated state, since the pattern formed by the light extraction material is initiatively drawn, compared with the existing monotonic pattern, the glass assembly of the present disclosure brings different sense of experience and enjoyment to the user.
- the glass assembly can not only present an illuminating effect of the pattern formed by the light extraction material, but also can obtain a visual effect with unpredictable and rich levels by changing the color of the incident light of the light source combining the toning input and further combining the lighting effect (such as light intensity, lighting time, dynamic effect, etc. ) generated by the light source itself.
- the light extraction material includes a luminous material, such as titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) .
- a luminous material such as titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) .
- Titanium dioxide as a widely used white inorganic compound, has the characteristics of nontoxicity, optimal opacity, optimal whiteness and brightness and the like, and can emit light with a specific wavelength and intensity after being excited by illumination, also known as fluorescence or luminescence.
- illumination also known as fluorescence or luminescence.
- the pattern formed by the light extraction material can have good visibility on the glass body, and in the illuminated state, the pattern formed by the light extraction material can have high brightness.
- visibility is also referred to as a degree of visibility, specifically for the non-illuminated state, it refers to a degree to which an observer can see a pattern on transparent glass, and is usually determined by light transmittance of a material and an L value (brightness of a color, where a positive number indicates white, and a negative number indicates black) in LAB values of a color.
- the light extraction material comprises a water-based or oil-based luminous material, which facilitates the user in removing and modifying the pattern formed by the light extraction material with a corresponding solvent.
- compositions of a luminous material may include titanium dioxide, aqueous or alcoholic solvent, preservative (e.g., pyrrolidone, methyl paraben, phenyl isothiazolinone) and other compositions (e.g., resin, glycerin, urea) .
- the user can easily use an aqueous solvent, an alcoholic solvent, or any other suitable solvent to remove the pattern formed by the light extraction material including the luminous material described above, and may modify the pattern formed by the light extraction material on the glass body or redraw the pattern on the glass body, for example, by a doodle component.
- the light extraction material may include a dye.
- the addition of the dye makes the luminous material to have colors other than the color of the luminous material itself, thereby causing the drawn pattern and the illuminated pattern in the illuminated state to have richer colors.
- the dye includes, but is not limited to, mineral pigment, polymer dye, plant extraction pigment, etc. The color of the dye may be selected depending on different requirements or user preferences.
- the light extraction material may include dyes of more than one color, so that a visual effect of multi-color mix and match may be achieved.
- the amount of the luminous material in the light extraction material and/or the amount of the dye with the color sensitive to the human eye may be advantageously set to be inversely proportional to the human eye's sensitivity to the corresponding color, that is, the higher the human eye's sensitivity to the color, the relatively small the amount of the luminous material and/or the amount of the dye in the corresponding light extraction material. This can prevent the sensitive color from adversely affecting the driver and the passenger inside the vehicle or the pedestrian outside the vehicle, and can avoid light pollution caused by the light with the sensitive color, especially in the illuminated state.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate an example of forming a pattern by applying a light extraction material onto a glass assembly 100.
- a pattern 200 in the form of line can be drawn by a single-color light extraction material, and the pattern 200 as a whole presents a single color with uniform color.
- a pattern 300 may have multiple different colors along the length direction of the line, so that the pattern 300 as a whole presents multiple colors with color changes.
- the multiple colors herein may be achieved by adding one or more dyes into the luminous material as described above, or alternatively or additionally by providing a doodle component and/or a design for the toning input as will be described below.
- a light source 400 is arranged at a bottom edge of the glass assembly 100.
- the light source 400 emits incident light into the glass assembly 100, the incident light is totally reflected in the glass assembly 100, and is extracted at the light extraction material applied to at least one surface of the glass assembly 100 to be guided out of the glass assembly 100 to form a luminous pattern.
- the luminous pattern corresponds to the pattern 200 or the pattern 300, and as described above, the color presented by the luminous pattern depends on the design of the luminous material and/or the dye in the light extraction material applied on the at least one surface and/or the design of the light source.
- the doodle component may be configured as at least one paintbrush and/or stamp and/or spray device capable of containing the light extraction material and applying the light extraction material on the at least one surface of the glass body to form the pattern.
- the doodle component may be configured as at least one paintbrush containing the light extraction material and configured to be able to apply the light extraction material on the at least one surface of the glass body, i.e., the light extraction material may be used as ink for the paintbrush. In this way, the user can conveniently implement doodle on the glass body by using the paintbrush.
- the doodle component may include a plurality of paintbrushes, and lines drawn by the paintbrushes are the same or different, and/or the light extraction materials contained by the paintbrushes are the same or different. In this way, by selecting different paintbrushes, different changes in the design of the pattern can be realized, such as the change of the thickness of the lines of the pattern, the change of the color of the pattern and so on.
- a pattern with thicker lines has higher visibility than a pattern with thinner lines (with smaller line width diameter) .
- a pattern with thicker lines has a larger area than a pattern with thinner lines, so that the brightness perceived by the human eye is relatively higher.

With the rapid development of means of transportation industry and the increasing demand of consumers for functions that can be achieved by, for example, vehicle, illuminating glass with decorative patterns has been widely valued by manufacturers for the means of transportation and favored by the consumers. The pattern of the illuminating glass is usually based on enamel or ink to form a pattern region on the surface of the glass, and when incident light emitted by a light source, arranged on, for example, the side or bottom of the glass or integrated in the glass, is projected to the pattern region, the light is scattered or diffused to be transmitted out through the pattern region due to the change of the surface structure, thus realizing an illumination effect of pattern luminescence.
Existing illuminating glasses typically make design changes to pattern shapes and illuminating regions to meet the consumer's requirements, but the pattern shapes and/or illuminating regions in the illuminating glass cannot be changed after the illuminating glass product is produced and assembled to a vehicle. The consumers still expect that the illuminating glass can bring more different feelings and experiences, such as being able to change the patterns by themselves or design the patterns by themselves, to meet personalized requirements, for example.
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a glass assembly capable of doodle, the glass assembly allows users to design and draw patterns by themselves, can present a unique sense of a combination of patterns and illuminating effect, and can change color of the patterns as required, thereby enhancing the user's experience.

The doodle glass assembly of the present disclosure can apply the light extraction material on the glass body and remove the light extraction material from the glass body, so that a user can design and draw a pattern on his/her own without affecting the performance and aesthetics of the glass body, so as to exhibit personality and be full of interest, and at the same time, the color of the incident light and then the color of the luminous pattern can be changed through the non-contact toning input, which can use the glass body to present a pattern display effect and an illuminating effect different from those of conventional illuminating glass. Because the toning input is implemented in a non-contact manner, an additional touch component (for example, a touch film) does not need to be arranged on the surface of the glass body or in the glass body, so that the glass body can have relatively high light transmittance and clarity, and will not cause the problem of fingerprint pollution, thereby improving use experience. The doodle glass assembly of the present disclosure is easy to implement, and can be applied to various occasions by designing various forms of such as toning input interface, light source, doodle component and the like, to meet diversified requirements of user.

Hereinafter, a doodle glass assembly will be described as being applied to a vehicle window glass, but it does not exclude that the doodle glass assembly can be applied to a window assembly in other environments such as door, window, curtain wall, airplane glass or ship glass. When the doodle glass assembly is described as the vehicle window glass of a vehicle, "outside" and "inside" refer to the directions relative to vehicle body, "outside" refers to the direction away from the vehicle body and "inside" refers to the direction facing the vehicle body. It should be understood that the vehicle window glass according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes, but is not limited to, front windshield, rear windshield, skylight glass, vehicle door glass or corner window glass, which can provide different pattern display effects and illuminating effects based on different requirements.
In this context, "doodle" refers to a visual font design art, which is mainly based on morphed English fonts, and further includes 3D realism, character realism, scene realism, cartoon characters, etc., and is usually accompanied with bright colors to enable people to produce strong visual effects or publicity effects. It should be understood that the doodle applicable to the glass body in the present disclosure includes, but is not limited to, lines (including straight lines, polylines, curves) , characters (including Chinese characters, letters) , graphs, symbols, numbers, and the like.
In the ever-changing means of transportation industry, illuminating glass with illumination and decorative effects has been widely used in such as vehicle skylight of mid-to-high-end vehicles, which can not only achieve the effects such as light shading and/or color change, but also form lighting effects with different patterns by combining coatings and/or sandwiched structures. For patterns in the form of coatings, light extraction technology based on the patterns formed by enamel or ink coating on the glass surface is commonly used in the prior art. In a non-illuminated state (normal state) , the observed pattern is monotonic because the enamel used has only one color (typically completely opaque white color) . In an illuminated state, the different lighting effects can only be achieved by controlling a light source to provide dynamic illumination or change the color of the pattern. Whether in the non-illuminated state or in the illuminated state, the pattern already formed on the glass body cannot be changed, let alone removed. Thus, the existing manners of forming patterns described above are not satisfactory to manufacturers and consumers.
In order to improve the existing illuminating glass to obtain an experience effect and a visual effect different from the conventional monotonic pattern, the present disclosure provides a doodle glass assembly. The doodle glass assembly comprises: a glass body having at least one surface on which a light extraction material is capable of being applied to form a pattern and from which the light extraction material is capable of being removed; a light source configured to be capable of emitting incident light into the glass body; a toning input interface configured to receive a non-contact toning input; wherein when the light source emits the incident light into the glass body, the incident light is totally reflected in the glass body and is extracted at the light extraction material applied to the at least one surface to be guided out of the glass body to form a luminous pattern, and a color of the incident light emitted by the light source is configured to be capable of changing in response to the toning input, and a color of the luminous pattern changes as the color of the incident light changes.
With the doodle glass assembly (hereinafter referred to as the glass assembly) of the present disclosure, by applying the light extraction material on the glass body, the user can use the glass body as a drawing board to design and draw a pattern (doodle) on his/her own, and when the pattern is not needed or the pattern is modified, the light extraction material can also be removed from the glass body, which is particularly suitable for creative children and adults and can fully exhibit personality and is full of interest. It effectively improves the use experience of driver and passenger when applied to the vehicle window glass. Advantageously, the glass assembly can be in an illuminated state or a non-illuminated state by turning on or off a light source that emits incident light into the glass body, wherein the glass assembly is in the illuminated state when the light source is turned on and the glass assembly is in the non-illuminated state when the light source is turned off. In the illuminated state, the light extraction material for forming a pattern will extract the light transmitted in the glass body and then guide it out of the glass body, so that the human eye can observe an illuminated luminous pattern, and the sense of experience is richer. In addition, during the driving of the vehicle, the manner of drawing a pattern on the vehicle window glass helps to attract children, thereby keeping them quiet during the travel, which further improves the audience of the glass assembly product. It should be understood that, based on different application occasions, the glass assembly of the present disclosure encompasses single-layer glass body and laminated glass having multiple layers of glass body, and the light extraction material may be directly applied to the surface of the glass body to form the pattern.
In addition, the glass assembly of the present disclosure can also change the color of the pattern already formed on the glass body through a non-contact toning input, specifically, it can change the color of the incident light, which further enriches the color of the pattern in the illuminated state.
In some embodiments, the at least one surface of the glass body may have a hydrophilic coating or a lipophilic coating, which makes it easier for the light extraction material to adhere to the surface of the glass body, and the pattern is not easily physically damaged after the light extraction material is applied to form the pattern, but is easily removed by a specific, e.g., hydrophilic solvent or lipophilic solvent.
In some embodiments, the at least one surface of the glass body may have a micro-roughened structure. This may be achieved by providing process treatment to the surface of the glass body to make it have the micro-roughened structure (for example, a micro-roughened texture) , so that the light extraction material can also more easily adhere to the surface of the glass body, and the pattern is not easily physically damaged after the light extraction material is applied to form the pattern, but is easily removed by a specific, e.g., hydrophilic solvent or lipophilic solvent. Those skilled in the art should understand that the micro-roughened structure on the at least one surface is invisible to the naked eye and does not affect the light transmittance and clarity of the glass body. As an illustrative, non-limiting example, the above process treatment may include laser machining, physical rubbing, chemical etching, or a suitable similar process treatment.
Further, in some embodiments, the present disclosure also provides a visual effect different from the conventional illuminating glass. That is, when the light source is turned off and it is in the non-illuminated state, since the pattern formed by the light extraction material is initiatively drawn, compared with the existing monotonic pattern, the glass assembly of the present disclosure brings different sense of experience and enjoyment to the user. When the light source is turned on and it is in the illuminated state, depending on the performance of the light extraction material applied by the user, the glass assembly can not only present an illuminating effect of the pattern formed by the light extraction material, but also can obtain a visual effect with unpredictable and rich levels by changing the color of the incident light of the light source combining the toning input and further combining the lighting effect (such as light intensity, lighting time, dynamic effect, etc. ) generated by the light source itself.
For the light extraction material, in some embodiments, the light extraction material includes a luminous material, such as titanium dioxide (TiO2) . Titanium dioxide, as a widely used white inorganic compound, has the characteristics of nontoxicity, optimal opacity, optimal whiteness and brightness and the like, and can emit light with a specific wavelength and intensity after being excited by illumination, also known as fluorescence or luminescence. In this way, in the non-illuminated state, the pattern formed by the light extraction material can have good visibility on the glass body, and in the illuminated state, the pattern formed by the light extraction material can have high brightness. Herein, "visibility" is also referred to as a degree of visibility, specifically for the non-illuminated state, it refers to a degree to which an observer can see a pattern on transparent glass, and is usually determined by light transmittance of a material and an L value (brightness of a color, where a positive number indicates white, and a negative number indicates black) in LAB values of a color.
In some embodiments, the light extraction material comprises a water-based or oil-based luminous material, which facilitates the user in removing and modifying the pattern formed by the light extraction material with a corresponding solvent. As an example, compositions of a luminous material may include titanium dioxide, aqueous or alcoholic solvent, preservative (e.g., pyrrolidone, methyl paraben, phenyl isothiazolinone) and other compositions (e.g., resin, glycerin, urea) . Accordingly, as an example, the user can easily use an aqueous solvent, an alcoholic solvent, or any other suitable solvent to remove the pattern formed by the light extraction material including the luminous material described above, and may modify the pattern formed by the light extraction material on the glass body or redraw the pattern on the glass body, for example, by a doodle component.
In some embodiments, the light extraction material may include a dye. The addition of the dye makes the luminous material to have colors other than the color of the luminous material itself, thereby causing the drawn pattern and the illuminated pattern in the illuminated state to have richer colors. The dye includes, but is not limited to, mineral pigment, polymer dye, plant extraction pigment, etc. The color of the dye may be selected depending on different requirements or user preferences. Alternatively, the light extraction material may include dyes of more than one color, so that a visual effect of multi-color mix and match may be achieved. Since the human eye has different sensitivities to different colors, for example, the human eye is more sensitive to yellow-green color, in consideration of the uniform luminous effect of the pattern in the illuminated state, the amount of the luminous material in the light extraction material and/or the amount of the dye with the color sensitive to the human eye may be advantageously set to be inversely proportional to the human eye's sensitivity to the corresponding color, that is, the higher the human eye's sensitivity to the color, the relatively small the amount of the luminous material and/or the amount of the dye in the corresponding light extraction material. This can prevent the sensitive color from adversely affecting the driver and the passenger inside the vehicle or the pedestrian outside the vehicle, and can avoid light pollution caused by the light with the sensitive color, especially in the illuminated state.
FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate an example of forming a pattern by applying a light extraction material onto a glass assembly 100. In FIG. 1, for example, a pattern 200 in the form of line can be drawn by a single-color light extraction material, and the pattern 200 as a whole presents a single color with uniform color. In FIG. 2, compared with the pattern 200, a pattern 300 may have multiple different colors along the length direction of the line, so that the pattern 300 as a whole presents multiple colors with color changes. The multiple colors herein may be achieved by adding one or more dyes into the luminous material as described above, or alternatively or additionally by providing a doodle component and/or a design for the toning input as will be described below.
In the examples shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a light source 400 is arranged at a bottom edge of the glass assembly 100. When the light source 400 emits incident light into the glass assembly 100, the incident light is totally reflected in the glass assembly 100, and is extracted at the light extraction material applied to at least one surface of the glass assembly 100 to be guided out of the glass assembly 100 to form a luminous pattern. As can be appreciated, the luminous pattern corresponds to the pattern 200 or the pattern 300, and as described above, the color presented by the luminous pattern depends on the design of the luminous material and/or the dye in the light extraction material applied on the at least one surface and/or the design of the light source.
For the doodle component, the doodle component may be configured as at least one paintbrush and/or stamp and/or spray device capable of containing the light extraction material and applying the light extraction material on the at least one surface of the glass body to form the pattern.
In some embodiments, the doodle component may be configured as at least one paintbrush containing the light extraction material and configured to be able to apply the light extraction material on the at least one surface of the glass body, i.e., the light extraction material may be used as ink for the paintbrush. In this way, the user can conveniently implement doodle on the glass body by using the paintbrush.
In some embodiments, the doodle component may include a plurality of paintbrushes, and lines drawn by the paintbrushes are the same or different, and/or the light extraction materials contained by the paintbrushes are the same or different. In this way, by selecting different paintbrushes, different changes in the design of the pattern can be realized, such as the change of the thickness of the lines of the pattern, the change of the color of the pattern and so on. For example, for the visibility in the non-illuminated state, the observer has an intuitive experience on the clarity of the lines of the pattern, and when the light extraction materials with the same material are used, even if the drawn lines have the same color (for example, white) , a pattern with thicker lines (with larger line width diameter) has higher visibility than a pattern with thinner lines (with smaller line width diameter) . Similarly, for the brightness in the illuminated state, a pattern with thicker lines has a larger area than a pattern with thinner lines, so that the brightness perceived by the human eye is relatively higher. When the light extraction material includes the dye, a plurality of paintbrushes with different colors, such as red, blue, green, yellow, etc., may be provided to facilitate the user to draw a pattern with vibrant colors.
In some embodiments, the doodle component may be configured as at least one stamp with a predetermined pattern, the at least one stamp contains the light extraction material therein and is configured to be able to apply the light extraction material to the at least one surface of the glass body to form the predetermined pattern.
In some embodiments, the doodle component may be configured as at least one spray device containing the light extraction material and configured to be able to spray the light extraction material onto the at least one surface of the glass body to form a pattern. In a manner in which the doodle component is configured as the spray device, the doodle component may further include one or more pattern templates having a predetermined pattern, and the light extraction material can be sprayed onto the at least one surface of the glass body to form the predetermined pattern by cooperation of the spray device and the pattern templates.
By combining the doodle glass assembly and the doodle component, the present disclosure also provides a doodle glass kit. As described above, with the design of the light source and/or the toning input, the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit of the present disclosure can also obtain a visual effect with unpredictable and rich levels.
In some embodiments, the light source of the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit is arranged adjacent to an edge of the glass body or embedded in the glass body. Alternatively, the light source is, for example, a point or linear light source, such as an LED light-emitting strip, or a point LED with a light guide. When the edge arrangement manner is used, the light source may be attached to the edge of the glass body in a manner of proximity, bonding or the like. The light source may be selected as a white light source with good balance, so that in the illuminated state, regardless of whether the pattern color is white or colored, the color of the illuminated pattern presented by the light extracted at the pattern drawn on the glass body will be close to the color of the pattern itself. Alternatively, the light source may be a controllable three primary color (RGB) LED or a color LED, and the user can change the color of the light source (e.g., red, green, blue, yellow, etc. ) to make the pattern have different colors and sensations. In the case of the color LED in combination with the light extraction material having the dye, the illuminated pattern can also present a visual sensation with superimposed colors and rich levels. Optionally, the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit further includes a light guiding component, the incident light of the light source may be guided into the glass body through the light guiding component. The form of the light guiding component is not limited herein, as long as the incident light can enter the glass body and be totally reflected in the glass body.
Advantageously, the doodle glass assembly or doodle glass kit may include a plurality of light sources, each of the light sources may be the same or different. For example, in the embodiments shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a plurality of light sources 400 arranged at intervals may be provided at the bottom edge of the glass assembly 100 shown in the figure, or at least two corners of the bottom edge of the glass assembly 100 are respectively provided with light sources, so that the light sources can be well hidden from the user, and the external appearance is beautiful. In this way, while ensuring that the illuminated pattern has uniform brightness, it is also possible to combine the design and control of different light sources (such as color and/or light intensity and/or lighting time, etc. ) to achieve multi-level illuminating effects (such as gradual color change, segmented color, etc. ) , and to achieve changing effects of dynamic/static patterns (such as flowing water, flashing, breathing, etc. ) , thereby further enriching the pattern display effect and illuminating effect, and meeting the requirements of certain scene atmospheres.
According to the concept of the present disclosure, a non-contact toning input is provided to control, for example, the color of the light source, that is, to customize the color of the light source by the user, especially to receive the user's toning input through the toning input interface without touching the glass body. Specifically, the toning input interface of the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit includes a non-contact input unit configured to be adjacent to an edge of the glass body and arranged on and/or near the surface of the glass body to sense a motion information of a non-contact motion near the at least one surface of the glass body and a relative position information with respect to the at least one surface. As described above, based on different application occasions, the glass assembly may include single-layer glass body or laminated glass having multiple layers of glass body. FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 respectively exemplarily illustrate different embodiments in which the glass assembly is a laminated glass. FIG. 3 exemplarily illustrates a glass assembly 100 according to an embodiment, including a first glass body 110, a second glass body 120, and an adhesive layer 130 attaching the first glass body 110 and the second glass body 120 to each other. The adhesive layer 130 is, for example, an adhesive layer suitable for the laminated glass, such as polyvinyl butyral (PVB) , ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) , and optically clear adhesive (OCA) . In this embodiment, a non-contact input unit 140 is arranged near a surface of the first glass body 110, that is, at a predetermined distance D to sense a motion information and a relative position information of a non-contact motion near the surface of the first glass body 110. In a glass assembly 100-1 of an embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the non-contact input unit is arranged on the surface of the first glass body 110 at positions adjacent to the edge, for example, two non-contact input units 141 and 142 exemplarily shown in the figure. It should be understood that the non-contact input unit 140 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 is also advantageously arranged adjacent to the edge of the first glass body 110, so that normal use of the glass assembly (for example, a perspective function of the glass assembly or a doodle function by using the glass assembly, etc. ) is not affected, and the appearance of the glass assembly is beautiful. When the glass assembly 100 or 100-1 is applied to the vehicle window glass, the first glass body 110 may face the inside of the vehicle (which may be referred to as inner glass) , and the second glass body 120 may face the outside of the vehicle (which may be referred to as outer glass) . In this way, the glass assembly can sense, by using the non-contact input unit, the motion information of the non-contact motion of the user inside the vehicle near the surface of the glass body and the relative position information relative to the surface, thereby implementing toning input control on the light source, and meeting a toning requirement of the user for the doodle pattern after doodle on the glass body. Since a non-contact input manner is adopted, the glass assembly does not need to be provided with a touch layer (for example, a capacitive touch film) for implementing conventional touch input, and therefore the glass assembly can have relatively higher light transmittance and transparency. In addition, also due to the non-contact input manner is adopted, the toning input can be realized by the user's finger, without providing a correspondingly designed touch component, such as a stylus, so the input of information is simpler and more cost effective. At the same time, the user's finger can realize input without contacting the glass assembly, and also avoid leaving a fingerprint on the surface of the glass assembly that affects the aesthetic appearance, thereby improving the user's use atmosphere and experience comfort.
According to different requirements, the non-contact input unit may include at least one of proximity sensor, distance sensor and image sensor. The proximity sensor does not need to contact the detected object and can convert movement information and presence information of the detected object into electrical signal. Alternatively, the proximity sensor may be at least one of ultrasonic sensor, infrared sensor and laser sensor. Preferably, the proximity sensor may be an ultrasonic sensor or an infrared sensor. The distance sensor emits, for example, a light pulse and measures the time from the emission of the light pulse to the reflection of the object, and calculates the distance from the object by measuring the time interval, so as to complete a preset function. Optionally, the distance sensor may be at least one of laser ranging sensor, ultrasonic ranging sensor and infrared ranging sensor. Preferably, the distance sensor may be a time-of-flight (TOF) sensor. The image sensor, or named as photosensitive element, is a device that converts optical images into electronic signals, and is widely used in digital cameras and other electronic optical devices. Preferably, the image sensor may be a camera with an image sensor, such as a CCD camera, i.e., a digital camera with a charge coupled device image sensor. It should be understood that the non-contact input units exemplarily listed above may be used independently, or may be combined or integrated with each other, for example, the non-contact input unit may be a projection device with a time-of-flight sensor. In addition, the working principle of the non-contact input unit exemplarily listed above is known to those skilled in the art, and will not be repeated here.
According to different requirements, the motion information includes at least one of gesture, posture and motion. It should be understood that the gesture refers to a specific motion and body position presented when a person uses an arm, for example, a specific hand posture formed by positions and shapes of a palm and fingers. The posture refers to the appearance of the human body. The motion covers the movement or action of the human body, and includes, for example, a process in which positions of facial features change (that is, an expression change) , positions of limbs of the human body change (that is, a motion change) , or relative positions of the human body and the environment change (that is, a relative position change) . It should be understood that the foregoing exemplarily listed motion information and the working principle of providing the information are known to those skilled in the art, and details are not described herein again.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the non-contact input unit 140 may be a TOF sensor and/or a CCD camera at a predetermined distance D from the first glass body 110. The TOF sensor usually uses infrared light or laser to transmit signals to the surface of a target object, and these signals are received by the sensor after being reflected by the surface of the object. By calculating the precise time between signal transmission and reception, the TOF sensor can calculate the distance to the target object, so that it can continuously detect whether a non-contact motion for implementing the toning input exists within the predetermined distance D, that is, it can continuously sense the motion information and the relative position information of the non-contact motion within the predetermined distance D. The CCD camera may capture an image, and read and process a pixel signal through a control unit, so as to detect whether there is a motion for implementing the toning input. For example, when a hand H or a finger of the user is within the predetermined distance D and performs, for example, a click motion, the motion information and the relative position information of the user performing the non-contact motion may be detected. For the application of the glass assembly to the vehicle window glass, the glass body is usually curved glass with a certain radian, the TOF sensor and the CCD camera are particularly suitable for detecting the curved glass. In some embodiments, depending on different requirements, the TOF sensor and/or the CCD camera may, for example, be arranged at any suitable position of top interior trim of the vehicle, sunroof frame of the vehicle, and peripheral interior trim of the side window glass.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the non-contact input units 141 and 142 may be ultrasonic sensors or infrared sensors arranged on the surface of the first glass body 110 at a position adjacent to the edge, for example, a plurality of sensor probes of the ultrasonic sensor or the infrared sensor may be arranged at corner positions of the glass body. In this way, the built-in transmitter and receiver of the ultrasonic sensor or the infrared sensor continuously transmit the ultrasonic wave or the infrared ray, respectively, and receive the ultrasonic wave or the infrared ray reflected back from the target object and convert it into the electrical signal, so as to detect whether there is a non-contact motion for implementing the toning input by sensing whether there is a change of the ultrasonic wave or the infrared ray, that is, the motion information and the relative position information of the non-contact motion can be sensed. For example, when the hand H or the finger of the user approaches the first glass body 110 and performs, for example, a click motion, the motion information and the relative position information of the user performing the non-contact motion may be detected. In some embodiments, the doodle glass assembly may be used in combination with a projection device, or the doodle glass kit may include a projection device, and the non-contact input unit may be a projection device with a time-of-flight sensor, so that it can also detect whether a non-contact motion for implementing the toning input exists.
In some embodiments, the toning input includes a light source position input and a light source color input, the light source position input is used to indicate a position of a region irradiated by the incident light of the light source in the glass body, and the light source color input is used to indicate a color that needs to be presented by the incident light emitted by the light source. The toning input interface further includes a light source mark and a toning mark arranged on the at least one surface of the glass body, wherein the light source mark identifies a light source position region which is configured to receive the light source position input, and the toning mark identifies a light source color region which is configured to receive the light source color input. Advantageously, the light source position input and/or the light source color input is determined based on the motion information of the non-contact motion near the at least one surface and the relative position information with respect to the at least one surface, and the color of the incident light emitted by the light source is configured to be capable of changing in response to the light source position input and/or the light source color input. By providing the light source mark and the color mark to identify the light source position region and the light source color region respectively, when combing with the non-contact input unit of the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit, the user can draw the pattern on the glass body through the doodle component and after the glass assembly is in the illuminated state, by further selecting a region on the pattern that the color wants to be changed through the light source mark and then selecting the color that the incident light needs to be presented through the toning mark and changing the color, or by further selecting the color that the incident light needs to be presented through the toning mark, and then applying the color that needs to be presented to a certain region of the pattern through the light source mark. In this way, the glass assembly in the illuminated state can present a visual effect with rich levels pattern according to user’s requirements.
Advantageously, the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit comprises a plurality of light sources, and each of the light sources may be the same or different, and the toning input interface comprises a plurality of light source position regions identified via a plurality of light source marks, and each of the light source position regions corresponds to each of the light sources, respectively. That is, the plurality of light source position regions identified via the plurality of light source marks may be used to change the color of the light source corresponding to the light source position region one by one, so that the color of each region of the pattern corresponding to the light source can be changed. Advantageously, the light source color region identified via the toning mark may also include a plurality of light source color regions, and each of the light source color regions corresponds to a different color that the incident light is capable of being presented.
FIG. 5 exemplarily illustrates a distribution of a plurality of light source marks and a plurality of toning marks on the glass assembly 100. The light sources are, for example, a plurality of LEDs 400 arranged at intervals adjacent to the bottom edge of the glass assembly 100, and light source marks 510 may be arranged on the glass assembly 100 adjacent to the lower edge of the glass assembly 100 and correspond to the LEDs 400 one by one, so as to clearly indicate to the user the positions of the incident light of each light source that can be irradiated in the glass body. Toning marks 520 are, for example, arranged at one side corner of the glass assembly 100, and includes a plurality of light source color regions for providing the user with different colors that can be changed by the incident light. After the pattern 200 with a single color or the pattern 300 with multiple colors, for example, has been formed on the glass assembly 100 through the light extraction material, by providing the light source position input information to a first light source position region 510a of the light source mark 510 in a non-contact manner to select the corresponding first LED 400a as required, and then determining the color that the incident light needs to be presented by providing the light source color input information to a first light source color region 520a of the toning mark 520 in the non-contact manner, the color of the current incident light of the first LED 400a can be changed to the color determined by the first light source color region 520a. Alternatively, it is also possible to determine the color that the incident light to be presented by providing the light source color input information to a second light source color region 520b in the non-contact manner as required, and then providing the light source position input information to a second light source position region 510b in the non-contact manner to change the color of the current incident light of the corresponding second LED 400b to the color determined by the second light source color region 520b. In this way, by selecting different light source position regions and different light source color regions identified via different light source marks and different toning marks, the color of the incident light of different light sources is changed, which further makes the pattern 200 (300) rich in color, makes the pattern display effect and the illuminating effect more diversified, and improves the use experience.
It should be understood that although the light source position region of the light source mark 510 in FIG. 5 is shown in a substantially circular shape, the toning mark 520 and the plurality of light source color regions thereof are all shown in a substantially square shape, under the premise of satisfying the concept of the present disclosure, the light source mark 510 and the toning mark 520 herein cover any appropriate shape, and the arrangement positions of the light source mark 510 and the toning mark 520 may also be changed as required, but the range of the doodle region of the user is advantageously not affected. It should be understood that the number of the light source position regions identified via the light source marks 510 is consistent with the number of the light sources (LEDs 400) , and the number of the light source color regions identified via the toning marks 520 may vary according to different requirements. In addition, the sizes of the light source marks 510 and the toning marks 520 may also be determined as required, but advantageously do not affect observation field of the user through the glass assembly and facilitate the user to explicitly select the light source of which the incident light needs to be changed in color and explicitly select the color that the incident light needs to be presented.
In some embodiments, the light source mark 510 and/or the toning mark 520 is formed on the surface of the glass body (e.g., the first glass body 110 and/or the second glass body 120) by bonding or printing or laser engraving, and/or is formed in the glass body (e.g., the first glass body 110 and/or the second glass body 120) by laser engraving. When the bonding manner is adopted, the light source mark 510 and/or the toning mark 520, for example, in the form of sticker, may be bonded to the surface of the glass body by an adhesive, and the mark in this manner may also be visible to the user in the non-illuminated state. Compared with forming the mark on the surface of the glass body by using the adhesive, a manner of printing or laser engraving is more stable, and can provide protection for the mark. For the printing manner, the mark made of materials such as enamel or ink can be printed on the surface of the glass body by screen printing or inkjet printing and the like. The mark formed on the glass body by printing or laser engraving is similar to a light extraction pattern, the mark is clearly visible in the illuminated state, and the mark formed on the glass body especially by laser engraving becomes transparent or translucent in the non-illuminated state, which does not affect the perspective function, and the appearance of the glass assembly is beautiful.
In some embodiments, the light source mark 510 and/or the toning mark 520 may be presented in a manner of active display or passive display by a display layer attached to the surface of the glass body. Specifically, a display layer may be arranged on a surface of the first glass body 110 and/or the second glass body 120 or arranged between the first glass body 110 and the second glass body 120, so that the light source mark and/or the toning mark may be presented on the glass assembly by using a passive projection technology or an active imaging technology. When the manner of active display is adopted, the display layer may be, for example, any one of flexible organic light emitting diode (OLED) display layer, Mini light emitting diode (Mini LED) display layer, and micro light emitting diode (micro-LED) display layer. When the manner of passive display is adopted, the display layer may be, for example, a projection film without adhesive or with adhesive, and an image of the light source mark and/or the toning mark is projected onto the projection film in combination with a light source of the projection device to realize passive display. Compared with the manner in which the light source mark and/or the toning mark is fixedly formed on the surface or inside of the glass body by bonding or printing or laser engraving, when the glass assembly is applied to the vehicle window glass, especially through the manner in which the light source mark and/or the toning mark is presented in the manner of passive display by using the display layer, it is unnecessary for the glass assembly to be in a fully used state. Here, the fully used state refers to an arrangement state in which the vehicle window glass is mounted to the vehicle and put into use, and for the vehicle door glass, it refers to a state in which the vehicle door glass is fully raised. Therefore, even if the vehicle window glass (for example, the vehicle door glass) is not in the fully used state, it will not affect the user to change the color of the doodle pattern through the toning input after performing doodle through the glass assembly.
In some embodiments, the doodle glass kit further includes a control unit coupled to the toning input interface, and the control unit is configured to be capable of changing the color of the incident light emitted by the light source based on the toning input. As described above, the toning input includes the light source position input and the light source color input, the light source position input is used to indicate a position of a region irradiated by the incident light of the light source in the glass body, and the light source color input is used to indicate a color that needs to be presented by the incident light emitted by the light source. The toning input interface includes a non-contact input unit to sense a motion information of a non-contact motion near the at least one surface of the glass body and a relative position information with respect to the at least one surface. The toning input interface further comprises a light source position region identified via a light source mark and a light source color region identified via a toning mark arranged on the at least one surface, the light source position region is configured to receive the light source position input, and the light source color region is configured to receive the light source color input. The control unit is further configured to: determine an operation region corresponding to the non-contact motion on the at least one surface based on the relative position information; determine a light source position input information when the operation region corresponding to the non-contact motion on the at least one surface is located in the light source position region; and/or determine a light source color input information when the operation region corresponding to the non-contact motion on the at least one surface is located in the light source color region.
Further, in some embodiments, the control unit of the glass assembly is configured to: determine a position of a region irradiated by the incident light of the light source in the glass body based on the light source position input information; determine a color that needs to be presented by the incident light of the light source based on the light source color input information; and change the color of the incident light of the light source to the color in response to determining the position of a region irradiated by the incident light of the light source in the glass body and in response to determining the color that needs to be presented by the incident light of the light source. Depending on the different embodiments, the control unit may include at least one of vehicle control unit, remote control unit, electronic control unit of the non-contact input unit, electronic control unit of the light source, and electronic control unit of the projection device. When applied to the vehicle window glass, the vehicle control unit may be any control unit involved in the vehicle end, for example, including central control unit, in-vehicle entertainment system, vehicle body control unit, and the like.
The determination of the position of a region irradiated by the incident light of the light source in the glass body and/or the determination of the color that needs to be presented by the incident light may be implemented by a finger of the user performing a non-contact toning input motion (for example, at least one of gesture, posture and motion) on the light source mark and/or the toning mark. Optionally, the determination of the position of a region irradiated by the incident light of the light source in the glass body and/or the determination of the color that needs to be presented by the incident light may also be implemented by the doodle component, that is, the doodle component can also be used as a component for implementing the non-contact toning input motion to realize the light source position input and/or the light source color input. Regardless of whether the finger of the user or the doodle component is used, the non-contact toning input of the present disclosure is helpful for the user to conveniently change the color of the pattern after drawing the pattern with the doodle component, and avoids leaving a fingerprint affecting aesthetics on the surface of the glass assembly, thereby improving the use atmosphere and experience comfort of the user.

The lines forming these patterns may be drawn from the doodle component having a single color (e.g., white) light extraction material, or all or some of the lines of the patterns may be drawn from the doodle component having multiple colors (e.g., red, green, blue, yellow, etc. ) light extraction material. These patterns can be removed (e.g., by water or alcohol) and modified to meet the user's doodle requirements. In the non-illuminated state, the glass body may serve as a drawing board for the user to randomly doodle to exhibit personality or satisfy, for example, a child's drawing interest. In the illuminated state, these patterns extract the incident light totally reflected in the glass body and guide the incident light out of the glass body to present the illuminated luminous pattern, and can further change the colors of different luminous patterns or different regions of the same luminous pattern through the toning input as required, which can provide a visual effect different from the conventional pattern in color superposition and rich levels while ensuring the illuminating effect, and then significantly improving the experience of the driver and the passenger. Further, in combination with the design and control of the light source, such as the light intensity and/or the lighting time, the doodle glass assembly or the doodle glass kit of the present disclosure can not only achieve multi-level and colorful illuminating effects, but also achieve dynamic/static lighting effects, such as flowing water, flashing, breathing, etc., thereby further enriching the pattern display effect and the illuminating effect, which is widely applied.
