Description

 本発明は、基地局装置、端末装置、及び無線通信システムに関する。
 近年、無線通信システムにおいて、端末装置が無線受信信号のエネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換し、充電を行う無線給電が注目されている。さらに、無線給電を行う端末装置において、無線信号の受信電力を分割し、分割した一方の受信電力を充電に利用し、残りの受信電力を受信した信号の構文解析や複号などの信号処理に利用する、パワースプリッティングアーキテクチャと言われる技術がある。

 しかし、例えば、基地局装置が送信するある無線信号をパワースプリッティングアーキテクチャを行う対象とする場合、端末装置における受信電力の分割の割合の決定方法や通知方法などが決まっていない。基地局装置は、分割の割合を認識しなければ、適切な送信電力で対象となる無線信号を送信することができない場合がある。
 そこで、一開示は、パワースプリッティングアーキテクチャにおいて、受信電力の分割の割合を通知できる、基地局装置、端末装置、及び無線通信システムを提供することにある。

 [第1の実施の形態]
 第1の実施の形態について説明する。
 図1は、無線通信システム10の構成例を示す図である。無線通信システム10は、基地局装置200及び端末装置100を有する。無線通信システム10は、端末装置100におけるパワースプリッティングアーキテクチャに対応するシステムである。
 基地局装置200は、端末装置100と無線接続し、無線通信を行う装置であり、例えば、eNodeB、gNodeB、IAB、Repeaterなど無線通信が可能な通信装置である。基地局装置200は、無線通信が可能な通信エリアA200を構成する。
 端末装置100は、基地局装置200と無線接続し、データの送受信を行う通信装置であり、例えば、スマートフォン、タブレット端末、パーソナルコンピュータ、及び、ゲーム装置である。端末装置100は、所定の信号を受信したとき、パワースプリッティングアーキテクチャを行い、充電処理及び信号処理を行う。
 <基地局装置200の構成例>
 図2は、基地局装置200の構成例を示す図である。基地局装置200は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)210、ストレージ220、メモリ230、アンテナ240、及び無線通信回路250を有する。
 ストレージ220は、プログラムやデータを記憶する、フラッシュメモリ、HDD(Hard Disk Drive)、又はSSD(Solid State Drive)などの補助記憶装置である。ストレージ220は、無線通信制御プログラム221を記憶する。
 メモリ230は、ストレージ220に記憶されているプログラムをロードする領域である。また、メモリ230は、プログラムがデータを記憶する領域としても使用されてもよい。
 無線通信回路250は、アンテナ240を介して、端末装置100と無線通信を行う装置である。基地局装置200は、無線通信回路250を介して、端末装置100と信号(メッセージ)の送受信を行う。
 CPU210は、ストレージ220に記憶されているプログラムを、メモリ230にロードし、ロードしたプログラムを実行し、各部を構築し、各処理を実現するプロセッサである。
 CPU210は、無線通信制御プログラム221を実行することで、制御部及び通信部を構築し、無線通信制御処理を行う。無線通信制御処理は、端末装置100との無線通信を制御する処理である。基地局装置200は、無線通信制御処理において、端末装置100と無線接続し、端末装置100に信号を送信したり、端末装置100からの信号を受信したりする。
 CPU210は、無線通信制御プログラム221が有するパラメータ決定モジュール2211を実行することで、制御部及び通信部を構築し、パラメータ決定処理を行う。パラメータ決定処理は、端末装置100にデータを送信する信号(例えば、PDSCH:Physical Downlink Shared Channel)の無線リソースなどの送信に関するパラメータ(送信パラメータ)を決定する処理である。基地局装置200は、パラメータ決定処理において、例えば、端末装置100から受信するCSI(Channel State Information)レポートなどに基づき、パラメータを決定する。
 <端末装置100の構成例>
 図3は、端末装置100の構成例を表す図である。端末装置100は、CPU110、ストレージ120、メモリ130、アンテナ140、無線通信回路150、パワースプリッタ160、エナジーハーベスタ170、及び蓄電池180を有する。
 ストレージ120は、プログラムやデータを記憶する、フラッシュメモリ、HDD、又はSSDなどの補助記憶装置である。ストレージ120は、無線通信プログラム121及び信号受信プログラム122を記憶する。
 メモリ130は、ストレージ120に記憶されているプログラムをロードする領域である。また、メモリ130は、プログラムがデータを記憶する領域としても使用されてもよい。
 無線通信回路150は、アンテナ140を介して、基地局装置200と無線通信を行う装置である。端末装置100は、無線通信回路150を介して、基地局装置200と信号(メッセージ)の送受信を行う。端末装置100は、信号を受信する場合、パワースプリッタ160が分割した受信電力で信号を受信する。なお、端末装置100は、信号を送信する場合、パワースプリッタ160を介さずに、アンテナ140から信号を送信してもよい。
 パワースプリッタ160は、アンテナ140が受信した信号の受信電力を分割し、分割した受信電力をエナジーハーベスタ170及び無線通信回路150それぞれに引き渡す装置であり、例えば、分配器である。パワースプリッタ160は、例えば、指定された割合に応じて、受信電力を分割し、それぞれの装置に出力する。
 エナジーハーベスタ170は、受信した(入力された)電力を直流電流に変換する発電装置である。エナジーハーベスタ170は、パワースプリッタ160から信号の受信電力の一部を取得し、直流電流に変換し、蓄電池180に充電する。また、変換された直流電流は、充電されずに、直接使用されてもよい。
 蓄電池180は、端末装置100を動作させるための電力を蓄積する電池であり、例えば、リチウムイオン電池である。
 CPU110は、無線通信プログラム121を実行することで、端末制御部及び端末通信部を構築し、無線通信処理を行う。無線通信処理は、基地局装置200との無線接続し、無線通信を行う処理である。端末装置100は、無線通信処理において、基地局装置200と無線通信を行い、基地局装置200が送信する信号を受信し、基地局装置200に信号を送信する。
 CPU110は、信号受信プログラム122を実行することで、端末制御部及び端末通信部を構築し、信号受信処理を行う。信号受信処理は、基地局装置200が送信した信号を受信したときの処理である。信号受信処理は、例えば、信号の構文解析や符号化されたデータの複号などを含む信号処理や、信号の受信電力の一部を用いて発電し、蓄電池に充電を行う充電処理を含む。
 CPU110は、信号受信プログラム122が有する受信電力分割モジュール1221を実行することで、端末制御部及び端末通信部を構築し、受信電力分割処理を行う。受信電力分割処理は、端末装置100が受信した信号の受信電力を、指定の割合で分割する処理である。
 CPU110は、信号受信プログラム122が有する充電モジュール1222を実行することで、端末制御部及び端末通信部を構築し、充電処理を行う。充電処理は、端末装置100が受信した信号の受信電力の一部を用いて発電し、蓄電池に充電を行う処理である。
 CPU110は、信号受信プログラム122が有する信号モジュール1223を実行することで、端末制御部及び端末通信部を構築し、信号処理を行う。信号処理は、信号の構文解析や符号化されたデータの複号を行う処理である。なお、信号処理は、充電処理で使用された受信電力以外の受信電力(充電処理で使用した残りの受信電力)で実行される。
 <信号受信処理>
 信号受信処理S1について説明する。信号受信処理は、端末装置100が所定の信号を受信したときに実行する処理である。第1の実施の形態において、所定の信号は、第1信号及び第2信号である。第1信号は、例えば、CSI-RS(Channel State Information - Reference Signal)であり、第2信号は、例えば、PDSCHである。
 図4は、信号受信処理S1の処理の例を示す図である。端末装置100は、所定の信号を受信したとき、受信電力分割処理S2を行う。
 受信電力分割処理S2は、信号の受信電力を所定の割合aで2分割する処理である。割合aで分割された受信電力を信号処理S4に使用し、割合aで分割された残りの受信電力(1-a)を充電処理S3に使用する。
 ある信号の受信電力NdBmを割合aで分割した場合の受信電力NadBmは、例えば、以下の式1で表すことができる。
 Na = N + 10Log10(a) ・・・式1
 充電処理S3は、端末装置100が受信した信号の受信電力の一部を用いて発電し、蓄電池に充電を行う処理である。
 信号処理S4は、受信した信号の内容に応じた処理である。信号がCSI-RSである場合、例えば、基地局装置200から指示されたレポーティングポリシーに従って測定を行い、CSIレポートを生成し、基地局装置200に送信する。信号がPDSCHである場合、例えば、符号化されたデータを複合し、上位レイヤに引き渡す。
 図5は、信号受信処理のシーケンスの例を示す図である。なお、第1信号をCSI-RS、第2信号をPDSCHとして説明する。また、CSI-RS受信時の信号処理に使用する受信電力の割合をa1とし、PDSCH受信時の新語処理に使用する受信電力の割合をa2とする。
 また、割合a1及び割a2の決定は、基地局装置200が主導する場合(以降、基地局主導と呼ぶ場合がある)と、端末装置100が主導する場合(以降、端末主導と呼ぶ場合がある)がある。いずれの場合もシーケンスは同様である。そこで、図5を用いてシーケンスを説明した後、基地局指導及び端末主導における各メッセージの情報要素の差異について、それぞれ説明する。
 <1.シーケンス>
 基地局装置200は、RRC(Radio Resource Control)を、端末装置100に送信する(S10)。処理S10で送信されるRRCは、例えば、CSIレポートに関するコンフィグレーション(設定情報)を含む。
 また、基地局装置200は、RRC、MAC-CE(Medium Access Control ― Control Element)、又はDCI(Downlink Control Information)を、端末装置100に送信する(S11)。処理S11で送信されるRRC、MAC-CE、及びDCIは、例えば、CSIレポートの送信指示を含む。
 基地局装置200は、所定タイミングで、CSI-RSを端末装置100に送信する(S12)。CSI-RSは、CSI測定を行いCSIレポートを生成するための信号であり、信号受信処理の実行対象となる第1信号である。
 端末装置100は、CSI-RSを受信すると(S12)、第1信号受信処理S100を行う。第1信号受信処理S100は、端末装置100が第1信号を受信したときに実行する信号受信処理である。
 図6は、第1信号受信処理S100の処理フローチャートの例を示す図である。端末装置100は、割合a1に従い、信号の受信電力を分割する(S101)。
 端末装置100は、割合a1で分割した受信電力を使用し、信号処理を行う。
 端末装置100は、受信した第1信号を複号する(S102)。
 端末装置100は、分割後の受信電力を測定する(S103)。
 端末装置100は、分割後の第2信号の受信電力を推定する(S104)。第2信号の受信電力の推定処理S104の詳細については、後述する。
 端末装置100は、第1信号に対応するレポートを作成し(S105)、基地局装置200に送信する。レポートは、例えば、CSIレポートであり、RRCに含まれるCSIレポートに関するコンフィグレーション(設定情報)に従い生成される。
 一方、端末装置100は、割合a1で分割した受信電力の残りの受信電力(例えば、1-a1)を使用し、充電処理を行う。
 端末装置100は、受信電力を使用して発電する(S106)。
 端末装置100は、発電した電力を蓄電池に充電する(S107)。
 端末装置100は、信号処理及び充電処理を実行し、第1信号受信処理を終了する。
 図5のシーケンスに戻り、端末装置100は、第1信号受信処理S100の信号処理において、CSI測定を行い、CSIレポートを基地局装置200に送信する(S13)。
 基地局装置200は、CSIレポートを受信すると(S13)、パラメータ決定処理S300を行う。パラメータ決定処理S300は、CSIレポートの内容に応じて、下りのリソース(例えばPDSCH)のパラメータ(例えば周波数、送信出力など)を決定する処理である。
 基地局装置200は、DCIを端末装置100に送信する(S14)。処理S14で送信されるDCIは、例えば、下りデータ送信(例えばパラメータ)などの制御情報を含む。
 そして、基地局装置200は、決定したパラメータで、下りデータを含むPDSCHを端末装置100に送信する(S15)。
 端末装置100は、PDSCHを受信すると(S15)、第2信号受信処理S200を行う。第2信号受信処理S200は、端末装置100が第2信号を受信したときに実行する信号受信処理である。
 図7は、第2信号受信処理S200の処理フローチャートの例を示す図である。端末装置100は、割合a2に従い、信号の受信電力を分割する(S201)。
 端末装置100は、割合a2で分割した受信電力を使用し、信号処理を行う。
 端末装置100は、受信した第2信号を複号する(S202)。
 端末装置100は、信号に含まれるデータを、上位レイヤに引き渡す(S203)。
 一方、端末装置100は、割合a2で分割した受信電力の残りの受信電力(例えば、1-a2)を使用し、充電処理を行う。
 端末装置100は、受信電力を使用して発電する(S204)。
 端末装置100は、発電した電力を蓄電池に充電する(S205)。
 端末装置100は、信号処理及び充電処理を実行し、第2信号受信処理を終了する。
 ここで、第2信号の分割後の受信電力の推定処理S104について説明する。図8は、推定処理S104の処理フローチャートの例を示す図である。
 端末装置100は、分割後の受信電力及び割合a1を用いて、第1信号の分割前の受信電力を算出する(S104-1)。
 端末装置100は、第1信号の分割前の受信電力、及び第1信号と第2信号との送信電力オフセットを用いて、第2信号の分割前の受信電力を推定する(S104-2)。
 端末装置100は、第2信号の分割前の受信電力及び割合a2を用いて、第2信号の分割後の受信電力を算出し(S104-3)、処理を終了する。
 なお、推定した分割後の第2信号の受信電力は、例えば、割合a1の決定(推定、仮定を含む)やCSI測定などに使用される場合がある。
 <2.割合の通知方法について>
 以下、端末主導及び基地局主導それぞれについて説明する。
 <2.1 基地局主導の場合>
 基地局主導の場合、割合a1及び割合a2は、基地局装置200から端末装置100に通知される。
 割合a1が含まれ得るメッセージは、RRC(S10)、RRC(S11)、MAC-CE(S11)、及びDCI(S11)である。RRC(S10)の場合、CSIレポートに関するコンフィグレーション(設定情報)に、割合a1に関する情報要素が追加される。RRC(S11)、MAC-CE(S11)、及びDCI(S11)の場合、CSIレポート送信の指示に、割合a1に関する情報要素が追加される。
 なお、割合a1は、CSIレポートに関するコンフィグレーション(設定情報)及びCSIレポート送信の指示の両方に設定されてもよいし、一方のみに設定されてもよい。例えば、両方に設定された場合、端末装置100は、最新の(最も最後に受信した)割合a1を使用するものとする。
 割合a2が含まれ得るメッセージは、RRC(S10)、RRC(S11)、MAC-CE(S11)、DCI(S11)、及びDCI(S14)である。RRC(S10)の場合、CSIレポートに関するコンフィグレーション(設定情報)に、割合a2に関する情報要素が追加される。RRC(S11)、MAC-CE(S11)、及びDCI(S11)の場合、CSIレポート送信の指示に、割合a2に関する情報要素が追加される。DCI(S14)の場合、下りデータ送信に関する情報に、割合a2に関する情報要素が追加される。
 なお、割合a2は、CSIレポートに関するコンフィグレーション(設定情報)、CSIレポート送信の指示、及び下りデータ送信に関する情報の全てに設定されてもよいし、いずれか1つ又は2つのみに設定されてもよい。例えば、複数に設定された場合、端末装置100は、最新の(最も最後に受信した)割合a2を使用するものとする。
 また、割合a2を下りデータ送信に関する情報に設定する場合(DCI(S14)で送信する場合)、基地局装置200は、CSIレポートの結果を考慮して割合a2を決定してもよい。
 <2.2 端末主導の場合>
 端末主導の場合、割合a1及び割合a2は、端末装置100から基地局装置200に通知される。
 割合a1が含まれ得るメッセージは、CSIレポート(S13)である。この場合、CSIレポートの情報要素として、割合a1に関する情報要素が追加される。なお、この割合a1は、端末装置100が実際に使用した割合である。
 割合a2が含まれ得るメッセージは、CSIレポート(S13)である。この場合、CSIレポートの情報要素として、割合a2に関する情報要素が追加される。なお、この割合a2は、端末装置100が第2信号受信時に使用する予定の(使用すると決定した)割合であり、まだ未使用の割合である。
 なお、基地局装置200は、通知された割合a2に対して、異なる割合a2を使用するよう、端末装置100に指示することができる。この場合、基地局装置200は、DCI(S14)で割合a2に関する情報を通知する。割合a2に関する情報は、例えば、端末装置100が使用するべき割合a2の値である。また。割合a2に関する情報は、例えば、端末装置100が通知した割合a2との差分情報であってもよい。さらに、割合a2に関する情報は、例えば、端末装置100が使用するべき割合a2の範囲であってもよい。
 <3.CSIレポートと割合a1及び割合a2の関係について>
 端末装置100は、推定したPDSCHの分割後の受信電力に基づいて、基地局装置200に指示されたレポーティングモードに従い、CSIレポートを生成する。
 基地局主導である場合、基地局装置200が指定した割合a1及び割合a2に対応するCSIレポートを生成する。
 基地局主導において、マルチCSIモードである場合、複数の割合a2が設定され得る。この場合、複数の割合a2それぞれに対応するCSIレポートを生成する。
 基地局主導において、充電処理を優先するEH(充電)優先モードである場合、複数の割合a2が設定され得る。この場合、例えば、特定の閾値を超えるCQI(Channel Quality Indicator)のうち、最も低い割合a2を選択し、選択した割合a2に対応するCSIレポートを生成する。
 <第2信号の受信電力の推定処理S104>
 第2信号の受信電力の推定処理S104について説明する。図8は、第2信号の受信電力の推定処理S104の処理フローチャートの例を示す図である。
 端末装置100は、第1信号の分割後の受信電力及び割合a1を用いて、第1信号の分割前の受信電力を算出する(S104-1)。なお、例えば、信号の受信電力を直接測定できる場合、測定値を使用してもよい。
 端末装置100は、第1信号の分割前の受信電力及び第1信号と第2信号の送信電力オフセットを用いて、第2信号の分割前の受信電力を推定する(S104-2)。例えば、PDSCHは、送信電力オフセットにより、CSI-RSよりも低い送信電力となる場合がある。
 端末装置100は、第2信号の分割前の受信電力及び割合a2を用いて、第2信号の分割後の受信電力を算出し(S104-3)、処理を終了する。
 第1の実施の形態では、基地局装置200は、CSI測定およびPDSCHのスケジューリングで受信電力の分割を考慮することで、端末装置100におけるデータ受信の精度を低下させないダウンリンクデータ送信のパラメータを決定することができる。
 また、第1の実施の形態では、様々なメッセージに割合a1及び割合a2を設定し、通知することができる。これにより、例えば、無線品質の変化などに適宜対応することができる。
 [その他の実施の形態]
 第1信号及び第2信号は、必ずしも両方がパワースプリッティングアーキテクチャの対象信号でなくてもよい。端末装置100及び基地局装置200は、対象となる信号の割合のみを通知すればよい。また、端末装置100及び基地局装置200は、どちらの信号がパワースプリッティングアーキテクチャの対象となるかを、通知してもよい。例えば、時間帯や無線品質に応じて、いずれの信号を対象とするかが決定されてもよい。
 また、第1信号及び第2信号は、第1の実施の形態に示した信号以外の信号であってもよい。その場合、信号処理は、それぞれの信号種別やメッセージの内容に応じた処理となる。

Claims (10)

  1.  基地局装置と、前記基地局装置と無線通信する端末装置とを有する無線通信システムであって、
     前記基地局装置は、第1信号を前記端末装置に送信し、
     前記端末装置は、前記第1信号の受信電力のうち、第1の割合をエネルギ変換に使用し、第2の割合の受信電力で前記第1信号を測定し、前記測定の測定結果を前記基地局装置に送信し、
     前記基地局装置は、前記測定結果に応じて第2信号の送信パラメータを決定し、前記第2信号を前記端末装置に送信し、
     前記端末装置は、前記第2信号の受信電力のうち、第3の割合をエネルギ変換に使用し、第4の割合の受信電力で前記第2信号に対する処理を行う
     無線通信システム。
  2.  前記基地局装置は、前記第1信号の送信の前に、前記測定に関する測定制御情報を前記端末装置に送信し、
     前記測定制御情報は、前記第1の割合を含む
     請求項1記載の無線通信システム。
  3.  前記基地局装置は、前記第1信号の送信の前に、前記測定を指示する指示制御情報を前記端末装置に送信し、

  4.  前記基地局装置は、前記第2信号の送信の前に、前記送信パラメータを含む下り制御情報を前記端末装置に送信し、

  5.  前記測定制御情報は、前記第3の割合を含む
     請求項2記載の無線通信システム。
  6.  前記指示制御情報は、前記第3の割合を含む

  9.  基地局装置と、前記基地局装置と無線通信する端末装置とを有する無線通信システムにおける前記基地局装置であって、
     第1信号及び第2信号を前記端末装置に送信する通信部と、
     前記端末装置における前記第1信号の測定結果に応じて、前記第2信号の送信パラメータを決定する制御部と、を有し、
     前記第1信号の前記端末装置における受信電力のうち、第1の割合がエネルギ変換に使用され、第2の割合の受信電力で前記第1信号が測定され、
     前記第2信号の前記端末装置における受信電力のうち、第3の割合がエネルギ変換に使用され、第4の割合の受信電力で前記第2信号に対する処理が実行される
     基地局装置。
  10.  基地局装置と、前記基地局装置と無線通信する端末装置とを有する無線通信システムにおける前記端末装置であって、
     前記基地局装置から第1信号及び第2信号を受信する端末通信部と、
     前記第1信号の受信電力のうち、第1の割合をエネルギ変換に使用し、第2の割合以外の受信電力で前記第1信号を測定する端末制御部と、を有し、
     前記端末通信部は、前記測定の測定結果を前記基地局装置に送信し、
     前記端末制御部は、前記第2信号の受信電力のうち、第3の割合をエネルギ変換に使用し、第4の割合の受信電力で前記第2信号に対する処理を行い、
     前記第2信号の送信パラメータは、前記測定結果に応じて前記基地局装置によって決定される
     端末装置。
