Description
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SUPPORTED TREE PRUNING SHEARS
Technical Field:
This invention is related to artificial intelligence-supported tree pruning shears, which are intended to perform error-free pruning in terms of both efficiency and physiological balance.
State of the Art:
Agriculture probably began in the Neolithic Age (Polished Stone Age), around 9000 BC. The Neolithic Age is known as the period when tools made of polished stone were developed and the last ice age ended. It is known that the transition to agriculture began in different parts of the world. The first of these is the region comprising Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan, also known as the "Fertile Crescent”.
One of the most important things in agriculture is pruning trees. With pruning, it is necessary to establish physiological balance in a short time and maintain it for a while in order to start fruit trees to produce fruit as soon as possible and to ensure that they are productive for a long time. However, most of the time, since correct pruning is not done, the most productive periods of the trees do not occur at all or are very short. Especially from trees that have never been pruned, the products they produce after a while pose a danger to human health and after a while they fail to produce products.
When pruning a tree, it is first necessary to determine for what purpose it is done. Pruning is carried out with factors such as fruit formation, timber production and shaping according to the environment, but if these statements are ignored, major irreversible problems arise.
One of the biggest mistakes made during pruning is to prune the main branches on the trunk of the trees. Apart from damaging the aesthetics of the tree as a result of pruning
the main branches on the trunk, it seriously disrupts breathing and also exposes it to external factors, causing cavities to form.
“Hydraulic Tree Pruning Hand Shears” is mentioned in the patent application numbered TR9600470. The invention has an oil cylinder, piston cylinder and piston rod mounted on the upper part of the body of a tree pruning shear. Inside the body, there is a valve set and a pump section. There is a blade bump and a finger circle attached to the blade, pushed by the piston rod.
In the patent application described above, hydraulic tree pruning hand shears are mentioned. In the current application, the tree pruning hand shears mentioned are a system that works hydraulically and how to prune the tree is left to the person. It is a disadvantageous product due to the problems that may occur in the continuity of the life of the tree as a result of incorrect pruning.
As a result, there is a need for a new technology that detects the places where the tree needs to be pruned and then records the image data for correct pruning, from an artificial intelligence-supported system that can overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages.
Description of the Invention:
This invention is an artificial intelligence-supported tree pruning shear and its feature is; It is a new technology that detects the places where the tree needs to be pruned from an artificial intelligence-supported system and then records the image data for correct pruning.
The invention is intended to achieve all the purposes mentioned above and that will emerge from the detailed explanation below; Image processing is provided by the camera in a tree pruning shears, and it is related to a hand shears where the correct pruning of the tree is ensured thanks to artificial intelligence thanks to this camera.
The invention relates to a product developed for correct pruning of trees. Image processing is carried out by the camera placed on the tree pruning shears. The processed images are saved as data and provide information on whether the relevant tree will be pruned or not when the pruning time comes. This camera, located on the tree pruning shears, displays images on the screen connected to the tree pruning shears. On this screen, thanks to artificial intelligence, information is given about the places where the tree needs to be pruned.
The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the product subject to the invention will be more clearly understood thanks to the figures given below and the detailed explanation written by making references to these figures, and therefore the evaluation must be made by taking these figures and the detailed explanation into consideration.
Description of the Figures:
