Abstract
本発明は、硫化防止コーティング材料であって、(A)下記一般式(1)で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサン、(B)1分子中に2個以上のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、(C)結晶性シリカおよびタルクから選ばれる1種以上、(D)1分子中に1個以上のフェニル基を有し、かつ、アルケニル基およびケイ素原子結合水素原子を有しない、直鎖状のオルガノポリシロキサン、(E)白金族金属を含むヒドロシリル化触媒、および、(F)酸化セリウムを含み、かつ、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有しないものであることを特徴とする硫化防止コーティング材料である。これにより、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有せず、高温環境における耐久性に優れ、かつ耐硫化性を有する硬化物を与える付加硬化型シリコーン組成物からなる硫化防止コーティング材料が提供できる。
Description
本発明は、硫化防止コーティング材料、該硫化防止コーティング材料の硬化物、及び、該硬化物で封止された電子デバイスに関する。
電子部品の腐食防止に用いられるシール材および接着材として、従来、銅や銀などの金属粉または金属メッキ粉を配合した付加硬化型シリコーンゴム組成物が使用されている。
金属粉の分散性向上のために、脂肪酸または脂肪酸エステル等の脂肪酸誘導体で処理された金属粉または金属メッキ粉を配合する方法(特許文献1、2)が知られているが、触媒毒となる脂肪酸の存在により硬化触媒の触媒能力が低下したり、過剰な脂肪酸が付加硬化型シリコーンゴム組成物の架橋剤であるオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンと反応することにより、硬化不良や脱水素反応による発泡を生じたりするという問題があった。
また、電子部品の出力向上に伴う発熱上昇により、高温環境において金属粉がシリコーンゴムのクラッキングを促進することでゴム強度の低下を引き起こし、シリコーンゴムの耐久性が不十分なものとなっていた。
上記のように、従来の金属粉または金属メッキ粉末を用いた付加硬化型シリコーン組成物では高温環境における耐久性を維持することができなかった。
本発明は、上記事情に鑑みなされたもので、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有せず、高温環境における耐久性に優れ、かつ耐硫化性を有する硬化物を与える付加硬化型シリコーン組成物からなる硫化防止コーティング材料を提供することを目的とする。
上記課題を解決するために、本発明では、硫化防止コーティング材料であって、
(A)下記一般式(1)で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサン
(式中、R1は、それぞれ同一又は異なっていてもよい、アルケニル基を含まない置換又は非置換の一価炭化水素基であり、R2はメチル基又はフェニル基であり、hは0~50の数であり、iは0~100の数である。但し、hが0の時、R2はフェニル基であり、かつ、iは1~100の数である。hが付された括弧内にあるシロキサン単位及びiが付された括弧内のシロキサン単位は、互いにランダムに配列していても、ブロックで配列していても、交互に配列していてもよい。)
(B)1分子中に2個以上のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、
(C)結晶性シリカおよびタルクから選ばれる1種以上、
(D)1分子中に1個以上のフェニル基を有し、かつ、アルケニル基およびケイ素原子結合水素原子を有しない、直鎖状のオルガノポリシロキサン、
(E)白金族金属を含むヒドロシリル化触媒、
および、
(F)酸化セリウム
を含み、かつ、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有しないものである硫化防止コーティング材料を提供する。

このような硫化防止コーティング材料であれば、耐熱性に優れ、かつ耐硫化性を有する硬化物を与えることができるものとなる。
また、前記R1が、フェニル基またはメチル基であることが好ましい。
このような硫化防止コーティング材料であれば、耐熱性および耐硫化性を高めることができる。
また、前記(A)成分中のケイ素原子に結合した有機基の全数のうちフェニル基の数が20%以上であることが好ましい。
このような硫化防止コーティング材料であれば、確実に耐硫化性を高めることができる。
さらに、本発明は、上記硫化防止コーティング材料の硬化物であるシリコーン硬化物を提供する。
このようなシリコーン硬化物であれば、耐熱性および耐硫化性に優れることから、電子デバイス、特に光学用途の半導体素子の保護コーティング材や封止材として使用することができる。
さらに、本発明は、上記シリコーン硬化物で封止されたものである電子デバイスを提供する。
本発明のシリコーン硬化物は、耐熱性および耐硫化性に優れる。従って、このようなシリコーン硬化物で封止された電子デバイスは、信頼性の高いものとなる。
以上のように、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料であれば、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有せず、高温環境における耐久性に優れ、かつ耐硫化性に優れる硬化物を与えることができる。従って、このような硫化防止コーティング材料から得られる硬化物は、光学素子封止材料等の電子デバイスの保護用途に好適に使用することができる。
上述のように、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有せず、高温環境における耐久性に優れ、かつ耐硫化性に優れるコーティング材料、及びその硬化物によって封止された信頼性の高い電子デバイスの開発が求められていた。
本発明者らは、上記目的を達成するために鋭意検討を重ねた結果、後述する(A)、(B)、(C)、(D)、(E)および(F)成分を含み、かつ、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有しない硫化防止コーティング組成物であれば、上記課題を解決できることを見出し、本発明を完成させた。
即ち、本発明は、硫化防止コーティング材料であって、
(A)下記一般式(1)で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサン

以下、本発明について詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。
[硫化防止コーティング材料]
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料は、下記の(A)、(B)、(C)、(D)、(E)および(F)成分を含む付加硬化型シリコーン組成物からなる。以下、各成分について詳細に説明する。

<(A)成分>
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料における(A)成分は、下記一般式(1)で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサンである。
(式中、R1は、それぞれ同一又は異なっていてもよい、アルケニル基を含まない置換又は非置換の一価炭化水素基であり、R2はメチル基又はフェニル基であり、hは0~50の数であり、iは0~100の数である。但し、hが0の時、R2はフェニル基であり、かつ、iは1~100の数である。hが付された括弧内にあるシロキサン単位及びiが付された括弧内のシロキサン単位は、互いにランダムに配列していても、ブロックで配列していても、交互に配列していてもよい。)
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料における(A)成分は、下記一般式(1)で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサンである。
上記R1としては、アルケニル基を含まないものであれば特に限定されず、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、ヘプチル基等のアルキル基;シクロペンチル基、シクロヘキシル基等のシクロアルキル基;フェニル基、トリル基、キシリル基、ナフチル基等のアリール基;ベンジル基、フェネチル基等のアラルキル基;クロロメチル基、3-クロロプロピル基、3,3,3-トリフロロプロピル基等のハロゲン化アルキル基等の、通常、炭素原子数が1~12、好ましくは1~10、更に好ましくは1~8の、非置換又はハロゲン置換の一価炭化水素基が挙げられ、特にメチル基、フェニル基が好ましい。
一般式(1)中のhは、0~50の整数であり、iは0~100の整数であり、hが0の時R2はフェニル基で、iは1~100である。h及びiが上記範囲外であると、本発明のシリコーン組成物の硬化物に高い硬度と耐硫化性を付与することができない。
また、(A)成分中のケイ素原子に結合した有機基の全数のうちフェニル基の数が20%以上であることが好ましく、上限値は特に限定されないが、80%以下であれば十分である。このような範囲であると十分な耐腐食性を得ることができる。
(A)成分の25℃における粘度は10~100,000mPa・sが好ましく、より好ましくは10~10,000mPa・sの範囲内である。粘度が上記範囲内であれば、組成物の粘度が著しく高くなり作業性に劣るといった問題が生じるおそれがない。なお、以下において特に断らない限り、粘度は25℃における回転粘度計による測定値である。回転粘度計としては特に限定されないが、例えば、BL型、BH型、BS型、コーンプレート型を用いることができる。
(A)成分の具体例としては、両末端メチルフェニルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジフェニルポリシロキサン、両末端ジフェニルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジフェニルポリシロキサン、両末端ジフェニルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジフェニルシロキサン・メチルフェニルシロキサン共重合体、両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジフェニルポリシロキサン、両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖メチルフェニルポリシロキサン等が挙げられる。
(A)成分は一種単独でも二種以上を併用してもよい。

<(B)成分>
(B)成分は、1分子中に2個以上のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンであり、(A)成分とヒドロシリル化反応を起こし、架橋剤として作用する。
(B)成分は、1分子中に2個以上のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンであり、(A)成分とヒドロシリル化反応を起こし、架橋剤として作用する。
(B)成分の分子構造に特に制限はなく、例えば、直鎖状、環状、分岐鎖状、三次元網状構造等の、従来製造されている各種のオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンを使用することができる。更に、(B)成分は25℃で液状であっても蝋状または固体であってもよい。
(B)成分は(A)成分に対する相溶性の観点から、アリール基またはアリーレン基を少なくとも1つ以上有することが好ましい。アリール基は(A)成分において例示されたものと同様のものが挙げられ、アリーレン基としてはフェニレン基、ナフチレン基等が挙げられる。
(B)成分のオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンは、1分子中に少なくとも2個、好ましくは3~300個、特に好ましくは3~100個のケイ素原子に結合した水素原子(即ち、ヒドロシリル基(SiH基))を有する。オルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンが直鎖状構造を有する場合、これらのSiH基は、分子鎖末端及び分子鎖途中(分子鎖非末端)のどちらか一方にのみ位置していても、その両方に位置していてもよい。
(B)成分のオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンの1分子中のケイ素原子の数(重合度)は、好ましくは2~300個、より好ましくは3~200個、更に好ましくは4~150個である。
(B)成分としては、例えば、下記平均組成式(2)で示されるオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンを用いることができる。

(B)成分の配合量は、(A)成分中のケイ素原子結合アルケニル基1個に対して(B)成分中のケイ素原子結合水素原子の数が、好ましくは0.1~5.0個、より好ましくは0.5~3.0の範囲内となる量であり、更に好ましくは0.5~2.0の範囲内となる量である。このような範囲内であると、シリコーン硬化物に高い強度を付与することが可能となり、コーティング材およびシール材として好適である。
(B)成分のオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサンは、一種単独で用いても二種以上を併用してもよい。

<(C)成分>
(C)成分は結晶性シリカおよびタルクから選ばれる1種以上であり、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料の硬化物に適度な機械的強度やチクソ性を付与することができる。

結晶性シリカとしては、クリスタライト(登録商標)シリーズ((株)龍森製)、MIN-U-SIL(登録商標)シリーズ(US Silica社製)等が例示され、タルクとしては、ミクロエースシリーズ(日本タルク(株)製)、MS-P(日本タルク(株)製)等が例示される。(C)成分の平均粒径(体積基準の粒度分布におけるメジアン径)は0.1~50μmであるものが好ましく、1~20μmがより好ましい。
(C)成分の配合量は、(A)成分と(B)成分との合計100質量部に対して、10~300質量部の範囲であることが好ましく、10~100質量部の範囲であることがより好ましい。
(C)成分は一種単独で用いても二種以上を併用してもよい。

<(D)成分>
(D)成分は、1分子中に1個以上のフェニル基を有し、かつ、アルケニル基およびケイ素原子結合水素原子を有しない、直鎖状のオルガノポリシロキサンである。本成分は、(A)成分と(B)成分との架橋に関与せず、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料の作業性向上および硬化物の低応力化に寄与する。
(D)成分は、1分子中に1個以上のフェニル基を有し、かつ、アルケニル基およびケイ素原子結合水素原子を有しない、直鎖状のオルガノポリシロキサンである。本成分は、(A)成分と(B)成分との架橋に関与せず、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料の作業性向上および硬化物の低応力化に寄与する。
(D)成分の粘度は10~3,000mPa・sの範囲であることが好ましく、10~1,000mPa・sの範囲であることがさらに好ましい。このような粘度範囲内であると、(A)成分および(B)成分からのブリード・分離の発生を抑制することができ、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料が作業性に優れるものとなる。
(D)成分の具体例としては、両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジフェニルポリシロキサン、両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジフェニルシロキサン・メチルフェニルシロキサン共重合体等が挙げられる。
(D)成分は一種単独でも二種以上を併用してもよい。

<(E)成分>
(E)成分の白金族金属を含むヒドロシリル化触媒は、(A)成分中のアルケニル基と(B)成分中のケイ素原子結合水素原子との付加反応を促進するものであればいかなる触媒であってもよい。その具体例としては、白金、パラジウム、ロジウム等の白金族金属や塩化白金酸、アルコール変性塩化白金酸、塩化白金酸とオレフィン類、ビニルシロキサン又はアセチレン化合物との配位化合物、テトラキス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム、クロロトリス(トリフェニルホスフィン)ロジウム等の、白金族金属化合物が挙げられるが、特に好ましくは白金化合物である。
(E)成分は、一種単独で用いても二種以上を併用してもよい。

(E)成分の配合量は、触媒としての有効量でよいが、(A)成分及び(B)成分の合計量に対して、触媒金属元素に換算して質量基準で1~500ppmの範囲内であることが好ましく、1~100ppmの範囲内であることがより好ましい。かかる範囲内であれば、付加反応の反応速度が適切なものとなり、高い強度を有する硬化物を得ることができる。
<(F)成分>
(F)成分は酸化セリウムであり、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料の耐熱性を向上させる成分である。

(F)成分の添加量は、得られる硬化物の硬度および耐熱性の観点から、(A)成分および(B)成分の合計100質量部に対して0.1~20質量部が好ましく、より好ましくは1~10質量部である。(F)成分の粒径は、レーザー回折・散乱法により測定した体積メジアン径(D50)が0.5~5.0μmの範囲であることが好ましい。
(F)成分は、予め(A)成分または(B)成分と混合した後、配合することが好ましい。これにより、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料に対する(F)成分の分散性が向上し、分離などを抑制することができる。また、更に分散性を向上させるため、予め(F)成分と(C)成分とを混合してもよい。
また、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料には、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有しない。このようなものであれば、高温環境における耐久性に優れるものとなる。
<その他の成分>
(補強成分)
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料には、硬化物の機械特性を向上させるため、補強成分として、(A)成分以外の架橋性オルガノポリシロキサンを含有してもよい。架橋性オルガノポリシロキサンとしては、下記平均式(3)で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンが挙げられる。

(補強成分)

補強成分はアルケニル基を有する分岐状オルガノポリシロキサン、または、側鎖(もしくは側鎖と分子末端との両方)にアルケニル基を有する直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサンであり、架橋密度を増大させることができる。
R3としては、ビニル基、アリル基、エチニル基等の炭素数2~10のアルケニル基が挙げられ、炭素数2~6のアルケニル基が好ましく、特にビニル基が好ましい。

(接着性向上剤)
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料には、樹脂等に対する接着性を高めるために、接着性向上剤を添加してもよい。接着性向上剤としては、付加反応硬化型である本発明の組成物に自己接着性を付与する観点から、接着性を付与する官能基を含有するシラン、シロキサン等の有機ケイ素化合物、非シリコーン系有機化合物等が用いられる。
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料には、樹脂等に対する接着性を高めるために、接着性向上剤を添加してもよい。接着性向上剤としては、付加反応硬化型である本発明の組成物に自己接着性を付与する観点から、接着性を付与する官能基を含有するシラン、シロキサン等の有機ケイ素化合物、非シリコーン系有機化合物等が用いられる。
接着性を付与する官能基の具体例としては、ケイ素原子に結合したビニル基、アリル基等のアルケニル基、水素原子;炭素原子を介してケイ素原子に結合したエポキシ基(例えば、γ-グリシドキシプロピル基、β-(3,4-エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチル基等)や、アクリロキシ基(例えば、γ-アクリロキシプロピル基等)もしくはメタクリロキシ基(例えば、γ-メタクリロキシプロピル基等);アルコキシシリル基(例えば、エステル構造、ウレタン構造、エーテル構造を1~2個含有してもよいアルキレン基を介してケイ素原子に結合したトリメトキシシリル基、トリエトキシシリル基、メチルジメトキシシリル基等のアルコキシシリル基等)等が挙げられる。
接着性を付与する官能基を含有する有機ケイ素化合物は、シランカップリング剤、アルコキシシリル基と有機官能性基を有するシロキサン、反応性有機基を有する有機化合物にアルコキシシリル基を導入した化合物等が例示される。
また、非シリコーン系有機化合物としては、例えば、有機酸アリルエステル、エポキシ基開環触媒、有機チタン化合物、有機ジルコニウム化合物、有機アルミニウム化合物等が挙げられる。
(反応抑制剤)
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料には、硬化速度の調節のために反応抑制剤を添加してもよい。

反応抑制剤としては、トリフェニルホスフィン等のリン含有化合物;トリブチルアミンやテトラメチルエチレンジアミン、ベンゾトリアゾール等の窒素含有化合物;硫黄含有化合物;アセチレン系化合物;ハイドロパーオキシ化合物;マレイン酸誘導体;1-エチニルシクロヘキサノール、3,5-ジメチル-1-ヘキシン-3-オール、エチニルメチルデシルカルビノール等が例示される。
反応抑制剤による硬化抑制効果の度合いは、反応抑制剤の化学構造によって異なるため、反応抑制剤の配合量は、使用する反応抑制剤ごとに最適な量に調整することが望ましい。好ましくは、(A)成分および(B)成分の合計100質量部に対して0.001~5質量部である。配合量が0.001質量部以上であれば、室温での組成物の長期貯蔵安定性を十分に得ることができる。配合量が5質量部以下であれば、組成物の硬化が阻害されるおそれがない。
(カップリング剤)
本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料には、カップリング剤を添加してもよい。

ヒュームドシリカは、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料へのチクソ性付与、硬化物への補強性の付与の観点から、比表面積(BET法)が50m2/g以上であることが好ましく、より好ましくは50~400m2/g、特に好ましくは100~300m2/gである。
また、ヒュームドシリカは、トリメチルクロロシラン、ジメチルジクロロシラン、メチルトリクロロシラン等のメチルクロロシラン類、ジメチルポリシロキサン、ヘキサメチルジシラザン、ジビニルテトラメチルジシラザン、ジメチルテトラビニルジシラザン等のヘキサオルガノジシラザン等の有機ケイ素化合物で処理したものを使用することが好ましい。
このようなヒュームドシリカの例としては、レオロシールDM30((株)トクヤマ製)、アエロジルNSX-200(日本アエロジル(株)製)、Musil 120A(信越化学工業(株)製)などが挙げられる。
ヒュームドシリカを使用する場合の配合量は、(A)成分と(B)成分との合計100質量部に対して好ましくは0.1~20質量部、より好ましくは1~10質量部の範囲である。このような範囲であると、コーティング材料中でのヒュームドシリカの沈降を抑制することができ、十分な補強性が得られる。また、必要以上にチクソ性が付与され、作業性が低下するおそれがない。
[シリコーン硬化物]
さらに、本発明は、上記硫化防止コーティング材料を硬化させて得られる硬化物(シリコーン硬化物)を提供する。

本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料の硬化方法、条件としては、公知の硬化方法、条件を採用することができる。一例としては100~180℃において10分~5時間の条件で硬化させることができる。
以下、合成例、実施例、及び、比較例を用いて本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。なお、分子量はゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(GPC)における標準ポリスチレン換算の数平均分子量であり、粘度は回転粘度計を用いて測定した25℃での値である。平均粒径はレーザー回折・散乱法による体積基準の粒度分布におけるメジアン径である。
[合成例1]
酸化セリウム粉(CeO2、平均粒径2.7μm、ニッキ株式会社社製SN-2)29質量部、(CH2=CH(CH3)2SiO1/2)2((CH3)2SiO)420で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサン(粘度5,000mPa・s)71質量部を三本ロールで混合し、ペースト(F)を得た。

六塩化白金酸と1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンとの反応生成物を、白金含有量1.0質量%となるように、フェニル基を30モル%含有する粘度700mPa・sのメチルフェニルオルガノポリシロキサンで稀釈し、白金触媒(E-1)を調製した。

[実施例1~6、比較例1~5]
表1に示す配合量で下記の各成分を混合し、コーティング材料を調製した。なお、表1における各成分の数値は質量部を表す。[Si-H]/[Si-Vi]値は、コーティング材料中の全ケイ素原子結合アルケニル基に対する(B)成分中のケイ素原子に結合した水素原子のモル比を表す。
表1に示す配合量で下記の各成分を混合し、コーティング材料を調製した。なお、表1における各成分の数値は質量部を表す。[Si-H]/[Si-Vi]値は、コーティング材料中の全ケイ素原子結合アルケニル基に対する(B)成分中のケイ素原子に結合した水素原子のモル比を表す。

実施例1~6、比較例1~5で得られたコーティング材料について、下記の評価を行い、結果を表2に示した。
(引張強さ)
各コーティング材料を2mm厚になるよう型に流し込み、150℃、1時間の条件で硬化させ、シート状の硬化物を得た。その硬化物について、JIS K6251:2017に基づき、ダンベル状試験片における引張強さを測定した。

(硬度)
上記硬化物を6枚重ねあわせ、12mm厚の状態における硬度をAskerC硬度計により測定した。
なお、硬度がAskerC硬度計で5~50の範囲であれば、応力緩和性に優れ、電子デバイスにコーティングまたはシールした際に高い耐久性を付与することができる。

(耐熱試験後の硬度変化)
上記硬化物をさらに200℃の環境に500時間曝し、25℃に冷却したのち、上記と同様にしてAskerC硬度計により耐熱試験後の硬度を測定した。硬度変化が小さいほど耐久性に優れた材料であるといえる。

(質量減少率)
上記硬化物を200℃の環境に500時間曝した前後における質量を測定し、重量減少率を算出した。質量減少率が5%未満であることが好ましく、質量減少率が小さいほど耐久性に優れた材料であるといえる。

(耐硫化性)
内部の底に銀基板を設置した100g広口ガラス瓶に、シリコーンゲルKE-1057(信越化学工業社製)を流し込み、150℃、30分の条件で硬化させた。次いで、各コーティング材料を10g流し込み、150℃、1時間の条件で硬化させた後、硫黄0.1gを入れた容器を硬化物上に設置した。ガラス瓶を密閉したのち、70℃で10日間静置し、銀基板の変色を目視で確認した。銀基板が黒く変色した場合を×、変色が見られない場合を○として評価した。
内部の底に銀基板を設置した100g広口ガラス瓶に、シリコーンゲルKE-1057(信越化学工業社製)を流し込み、150℃、30分の条件で硬化させた。次いで、各コーティング材料を10g流し込み、150℃、1時間の条件で硬化させた後、硫黄0.1gを入れた容器を硬化物上に設置した。ガラス瓶を密閉したのち、70℃で10日間静置し、銀基板の変色を目視で確認した。銀基板が黒く変色した場合を×、変色が見られない場合を○として評価した。
表2に示すように、実施例1~6の硫化防止コーティング材料からなる硬化物は、200℃、500時間の耐熱試験前後において硬度および質量の変化が小さく、かつ、耐硫化性に優れたものであった。
一方、結晶性シリカまたはタルクを有しないコーティング材料を用いた比較例1では、硬化物の引張強さが著しく低下し、結晶性シリカまたはタルクに代えて炭酸カルシウムを配合したコーティング材料を用いた比較例2では、耐熱試験後の硬度変化が大きく、耐久性に劣るものであった。
また、(A)成分としてジメチルポリシロキサン系コーティング材料を用いた比較例3は耐熱性に優れるが、耐硫化性には劣っていた。一方、ジメチルポリシロキサン系コーティング材料に銅粉を添加した比較例4、5では、耐硫化性は得られるものの、クラッキングにより耐熱試験時の質量減少率が大きくなる結果となった。
以上のことから、本発明の硫化防止コーティング材料であれば、金属粉を含有せず、高温環境における耐久性に優れ、かつ耐硫化性を有する硬化物を与え、電子デバイスの保護用途に好適であることが実証された。
なお、本発明は、上記実施形態に限定されるものではない。上記実施形態は例示であり、本発明の特許請求の範囲に記載された技術的思想と実質的に同一な構成を有し、同様な作用効果を奏するものは、いかなるものであっても本発明の技術的範囲に包含される。
Claims (5)
- 硫化防止コーティング材料であって、
(A)下記一般式(1)で表される直鎖状オルガノポリシロキサン
(B)1分子中に2個以上のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、
(C)結晶性シリカおよびタルクから選ばれる1種以上、
(D)1分子中に1個以上のフェニル基を有し、かつ、アルケニル基およびケイ素原子結合水素原子を有しない、直鎖状のオルガノポリシロキサン、
(E)白金族金属を含むヒドロシリル化触媒、
および、
(F)酸化セリウム
を含み、かつ、金属粉および金属メッキ粉を含有しないものであることを特徴とする硫化防止コーティング材料。 - 前記R1が、フェニル基またはメチル基であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の硫化防止コーティング材料。
- 前記(A)成分中のケイ素原子に結合した有機基の全数のうちフェニル基の数が20%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の硫化防止コーティング材料。
- 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の硫化防止コーティング材料の硬化物であることを特徴とするシリコーン硬化物。
- 請求項4に記載のシリコーン硬化物で封止されたものであることを特徴とする電子デバイス。
