Description
Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift
Die Erfindung betrifft einen axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift, mit einem Metallkörper, der eine Einpressfeder und einen stiftförmigen Abschnitt aufweist, wobei der stiftförmige Abschnitt zumindest abschnittsweise von einem elektrisch leitfähigen elastischen Element umgeben ist und wobei das elastische Element sich über den freien Endabschnitt des stiftförmigen Abschnitts hinaus erstreckt.
Zur Herstellung elektrischer Verbindungen zwischen zwei einander gegenüberstehend angeordneten Leiterplatten ist es aus der deutschen Offenlegungsschrift DE 102006000959 A1 bekannt, Metallstifte mit an beiden Endabschnitten angeformten Einpressfedern vorzusehen, welche in beide Leiterplatten eingepresst werden.
Solche Einpressstifte können nicht verwendet werden, wenn eine der Leiterplatten als ein Folienleiter ausgebildet ist. In diesem Falle werden häufig Nullkraftsteckverbinder, die auch als ZIF-Konnektoren bekannt sind, eingesetzt, welche einen Endabschnitt des Folienleiters aufnehmen und kontaktieren. ZIF-Connectoren sind allerdings relativ kostenaufwändig, insbesondere dann, wenn nur wenige elektrische Verbindungen herzustellen sind.
Es wurde daher nach einer einfach realisierbaren und besonders kostengünstigen Möglichkeit gesucht, einzelne elektrische Verbindungen zwischen einer starren Leiterplatte und einer anderen Kontaktfläche, insbesondere einem Folienleiter, herzustellen.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch einen axial federnden Einpresskontaktstift mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Der Einpresskontaktstift bildet an einem ersten Endabschnitt eine Einpressfeder aus, die in eine metallisierte Bohrung in einer Leiterplatte eingesetzt werden kann. Der entgegengesetzte zweite Endabschnitt ist axial federnd und elektrisch leitend ausgeführt, so dass dieser elastisch an eine Kontaktfläche angelegt werden und dabei eine gewissen Kontaktdruck aufbauen kann.
Der zweite Endabschnitt des Einpresskontaktstifts kann entweder durch einen mit dem Metallkörper des Einpresskontaktstifts verbundenen Elastomerkörper oder durch ein metallenes Federelement, etwa in Form einer Schraubenfeder ausgebildet sein.
Mehrere Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung dargestellt und näher erläutert. Es zeigen in jeweils einer Schnittansicht die

Die Figur 1 zeigt ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäß ausgeführten axial federnden Einpresskontaktstifts 1. Der Einpresskontaktstift 1 besteht aus einem Metallkörper 10, dessen erster Endabschnitt durch eine als Öse geformte Einpressfeder 12 ausgebildet ist.
Der zweite Endabschnitt des Metallkörpers 10 ist als ein stiftförmiger Abschnitt 14 ausgeführt. Zwischen dem ersten und dem zweiten Endabschnitt weist der Metallkörper 10 einen Quersteg 16 auf.
Der stiftförmige Abschnitt 14 ist von einem Elastomerkörper 20 umgeben, der den stiftförmigen Abschnitt 14 vollständig einschließt und sich auf dem Quersteg 16 vorzugsweise abstützt. Der Elastomerkörper 20 überragt dabei insbesondere das freie Ende des stiftförmigen Abschnitts 14.
Der Elastomerkörper 20 ist vorzugsweise durch Umspritzen des stiftförmigen Abschnitts 14 mit einem elastomeren Material hergestellt. Dabei ist es vorteilhaft, wenn der stiftförmige Abschnitt 14 in seiner Längsrichtung eine variierende Querschnittsweite, etwa in Form mehrerer Querschnittsverbreiterungen aufweist, wodurch sich eine formschlüssige Verbindung zwischen dem Metallkörper 10 und dem Elastomerkörper 20 ergibt. Durch einen geeignet gewählten elektrisch leitenden Füllstoff ist der Elastomerkörper 20 im Ganzen elektrisch gut leitfähig ausgebildet.
Ein Anwendungsbeispiel für den in der Figur 1 dargestellten Einpresskontaktstift 1 ist in der Figur 4 dargestellt. Der Einpresskontaktstift 1 ist hier mit seiner Einpressfeder 12 in eine metallisierte Bohrung 42 in einer starren ersten Leiterplatte 40 eingepresst.
Der gegenüberliegende Endabschnitt des Einpresskontaktstifts 1 , der durch die Stirnfläche 22 des Elastomerkörpers 20 gebildet wird, liegt an einer zweiten Leiterplatte 50 an, die als eine Leiterfolie ausgebildet ist. Die Leiterfolie 50 wird hier durch einen Abschnitt einer Gehäusefläche 60 abgestützt.
Der Abstand zwischen der ersten Leiterplatte 40 und zweiten Leiterplatte 50 ist so eingerichtet beziehungsweise die axiale Gesamtlänge des Einpresskontaktstifts 1 ist so gewählt, dass der Elastomerkörper 20 in der axialen Richtung des Einpresskontaktstifts 1 elastisch etwas zusammengestaucht wird, so dass die Stirnfläche 22 des Elastomerkörpers 20 mit einem gewissen Kontaktdruck an Kontaktflächen auf der zweiten
Leiterplatte 50 zur Anlage kommt.
Es sei angenommen, dass die metallisierte Bohrung 42 über nicht dargestellte Leiterbahnen auf der ersten Leiterplatte 40 mit ebenfalls nicht dargestellten elektrischen oder elektronischen Bauelementen in Verbindung steht. Somit ergibt sich über die Einpressfeder 12, den Metallkörper 10 und den elektrisch leitfähigen Elastomerkörper 20 eine elektrisch leitende Verbindung zwischen den Bauelementen auf der ersten Leiterplatte 40 zu den Kontaktflächen der zweiten Leiterplatte 50.
Die Leiterfolie 50 kann so beispielsweise Kontaktflächen einer kapazitiven Annäherungssensorik unter der Gehäusefläche 60 ausbilden, wobei die Bauelemente der zugehörigen Auswerteelektronik auf der ersten Leiterplatte 40 angeordnet sein können.
Die Figur 2 zeigt ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel eines Einpresskontaktstifts 2, welches verdeutlicht, dass die Form des Elastomerkörpers 20‘ variiert werden kann. Statt einer einzigen Stirnfläche 22 wie der Elastomerkörper 20 in der Figur 1 , weist der Elastomerkörper 20‘ hier zwei (oder auch mehr als zwei) Arme 24‘ oder sogar umlaufend einen kreisringförmigen Teller mit jeweils einer Stirnfläche 22‘ auf. Wie aus der Figur 5 hervorgeht, kann der Einpresskontaktstift 2 so zugleich mehrere Stellen der zweiten Leiterplatte 50 kontaktieren.
Eine dritte Ausführung eines axial federnden Einpresskontaktstifts 3 ist in der Figur 3 dargestellt. Das elastische Element 30 ist hier durch ein metallenes Federelement und speziell als eine Schraubenfeder ausgebildet.
Der stiftförmige Abschnitt 14‘ des Metallkörpers 10‘ kann hierdurch als ein einfacher zylinderförmiger Stift ausgebildet sein, und benötigt keine Abschnitte mit unterschiedlichen Querschnittsweiten. Zur Fixierung der Schraubenfeder
30 kann diese mit dem Quersteg 16 des Metallkörper 10‘ verschweißt oder verlötet sein.
Die Figur 6 zeigt ein analog zu den Figuren 4 und 5 funktionierendes Anwendungsbeispiel mit einem Einpresskontaktstift 3 gemäß der Figur 3.
Die Figur 7 zeigt eine weitere Ausführung eines Einpresskontaktstifts 4. Der stiftförmige Abschnitt 14“ dieses Einpresskontaktstifts 4 ist an seinem freien Ende gefaltet oder schraubenartig aufgerollt, wodurch er eine Querschnittsverbreiterung 18“ ausbildet, an der ein Elastomerkörper 20“ angespritzt oder anderweitig befestigt werden kann.
Die Figur 8 zeigt als ein letztes Ausführungsbeispiel einen Einpresskontaktstift 5, dessen stiftförmiger Abschnitt 14‘“ tannenbaumartige Querschnittsverbreiterung 18‘“ aufweist. Der Elastomerkörper 20‘“ ist hier als hülsenartiges Einzelteil geformt, welches mit einem Gehäusekörper 62 vormontiert ist. Bei der Montage einer Gehäusefläche 60 an den Gehäusekörper 62, wird zugleich eine an der Gehäusefläche 60 anliegende zweite Leiterplatte 50 an die Stirnfläche 22‘“ des Elastomerkörpers 20‘“ angepresst.

Claims
1. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5), mit einem Metallkörper (10, 10‘), der eine Einpressfeder (12) und einen stiftförmigen Abschnitt (14, 14‘, 14“, 14‘“) aufweist, wobei der stiftförmige Abschnitt (14, 14‘, 14“, 14‘“) zumindest abschnittsweise von einem elektrisch leitfähigen elastischen Element (20, 20‘, 20“, 20’”, 30) umgeben ist und wobei das elastische Element (20, 20‘, 20“, 20’”, 30) sich über den freien Endabschnitt des stiftförmigen Abschnitts (14, 14‘, 14“, 14‘“) hinaus erstreckt.
2. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das elastische Element (20, 20‘, 20“, 20”’, 30) eine Schraubenfeder (30) ist.
3. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das elastische Element (20, 20‘, 20“, 20”’, 30) ein elektrisch leitfähiger Elastomerkörper (20, 20‘, 20“, 20”’) ist.
4. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Ausbildung des elektrisch leitfähigen Elastomerkörpers (20, 20‘, 20“, 20”’) der stiftförmige Abschnitt (14, 14‘,
14“, 14‘“) mit einem elektrisch leitfähigen Elastomermaterial umspritzt ist.
5. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der stiftförmige Abschnitt (14, 14‘, 14“, 14‘“) bereichsweise angeformte Querschnittsverbreiterungen (18, 18“, 18‘“) aufweist.
6. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) zwei
Leiterplatten (40, 50) elektrisch miteinander verbindet.
7. Axial federnder Einpresskontaktstift (1 , 2, 3, 4, 5) nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine der Leiterplatten (40, 50) als Leiterfolie (50) ausgebildet ist.
