Description
A MOBILE APPLICATION FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION
Technical Field
This invention is related to a mobile application which allows users to obtain information and exchange opinions by reaching online field specialists to obtain information in any topic including law, lecture, health, software, gastronomy, architecture etc. by connecting through a smart device and/or web site.
Users can obtain information about their problems without losing time and the need for leaving their present location by being informed online on audio basis by field specialists via the interface about any topic they want through a smart device or web site.
Prior Art
Today, people seek for various solutions to their questions and problems in a short period of time with advanced technology. People are trying to find answers to their questions and problems by consulting to persons in their inner circle or people they think competent in the respective field.
For example, people obtain information by consulting to a law office for the answers to their questions, students ask their own teachers or teachers around questions about their homework, project, thesis etc. to solve their problems.
When people have a few questions on their mind about simple issues including insurance, agriculture, health, law, engineering etc. which do not require seeing a specialist with an appointment, they either put a great effort to see them in
person or look for answers on the internet or their surroundings. This leads to intensity, and when other methods are sought for, it leads to information pollution which might be wrong or dangerous.
Considering the aforementioned issue, people are trying to solve their problems by consulting to persons they know or related organizations and institutions, which causes loss of time in the respective process. There are various developments in the considered field.
The Turkish Patent document numbered TR 2015/01734 is related to an online problem solving and evaluation system developed for online evaluation of the answer as right or wrong by following the problem solving method provided in text books used by students.
As described above, there is no mobile application available in the prior art which offers a system in which users can find answers to their problems or exchange opinions online and on audio basis and in person with a field specialist in the shortest time possible.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The mobile application for obtaining information in present invention is comprised of;
- an external database on which information about the specialists or organizations is kept categorized by subject,
- a user interface module on which users sign up by entering their personal information in the system, identify the field specialist they would like to obtain
information from, create an appointment, obtain information about the result of the appointment, and obtain information they want by contacting the specialist on audio, visual, text message basis at the time of the appointment,
- a specialist interface module on which specialists registered in the database login, answer the appointment requests submitted by users, and contact users on audio, visual, text message basis,
- an administrator interface module on which the system administrators login and manage the user interface module, specialist interface module, appointment requests, interviews, compliance with and violation of the principles of the program and the database.
The mobile application for obtaining information in present invention is a system in which specialists in many different fields are available together in a single system. It allows for users to have an opinion about any topic for a certain fee by assigning specialists in the system.
First, the users sign up by entering relevant information, and select the field specialist for the topic they would like to obtain information about. Then, request for an appointment if there is any suitable slot for the users among the time slots listed in the information about the specialist. The appointment request is referred from the administrator interface to the specialist interface and the specialist contacts the user.
For example, persons who have an emergency question or a problem, do not want to leave their present location or have limited time for resolution reach the field they would like obtain information about through the mobile application for obtaining information and contact the specialist on duty without losing time. In
this way, the fee differs for the users who would like to use the system without making an appointment previously.
As another example, a person with a problem or a need about a computer program tries to find solutions online by entering similar key words, yet on many occasions, people fail to find the right solution to their problems. This situation leads to loss of time and work force. With this method, however, considering the same example, a person seeking for a solution is able to receive recommendations and guidance with spot on solutions via in person interview directly with a specialist computer engineer.
On the mobile application for obtaining information, the user is able to evaluate the respective specialist after the interview. The specialist score increases depending on user reviews, number of interviews, position and achievement in the respective occupation and other criteria, and service fees can increase and decrease according to this change in the score.
The most important difference of this application from similar designs is that the specialist does not earn a fixed remuneration but receives a certain percentage (e.g. 80%) of the fee paid by the user per interview. This will increase the number of questions answered by the specialist and as the fee for the interview will change with the total score of the specialist, it will allow for the application to be of high volume and high efficiency.
This method allows for obtaining more reliable information directly from the specialist and additionally, the user is not bothered by general mass solutions on collective information platforms and is able to reach a solution directly focused on the user's own problem through individual interviews.
Claims
CLAIMS A mobile application for obtaining information in present invention is comprised of an external database on which information about the specialists or organizations is kept categorized by subject, and characterized in that the present invention comprises of a user interface module on which users sign up by entering their personal information in the system, identify the field specialist they would like to obtain information from, create an appointment, obtain information about the result of the appointment, and obtain information they want by contacting the specialist on audio, visual, text message basis at the time of the appointment, and a specialist interface module on which specialists registered in the database login, answer the appointment requests submitted by users, and contact users on audio, visual, text message basis, and an administrator interface module on which the system administrators login and manage the user interface module, specialist interface module, appointment requests, interviews, compliance with and violation of the principles of the program and the database.
