Description
本发明涉及显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种显示面板。
具有异型切割(Notch)设计的显示面板已经广泛地应用在智能手机中,而大尺寸显示面板也出现了相同的设计需求。
而异型切割的部分需要多为圆角设计,而为了因应异型边缘的空间及布线考量,现行技术,请参照图1及图2,图1是现行技术具有圆角的显示面板的示意图,图2是图1显示面板的异型边缘的局部放大图。与主动显示区(Active Area)10相邻的异型边缘20(圆角部分附近的空间(空白处)无法设置像素110或者是像素110被删除以清出空间以供电路或布线使用。如此一来,导致异型边缘120附近的画面显示品质大大降低,特别是大尺寸显示面板。
故,有必要提供一种显示面板,以解决现有技术所存在的问题。
本发明的目的在于提供一种显示面板,通过缩小部分的像素或子像素(R/G/B像素)的尺寸来满足设计所需空间,进而避免删除部分像素所导致的显示品质下降。此外,子像素(R/G/B像素)可以依设计曲率均匀地缩小过渡,提升显示面板在异型区域的显示品质,从而提升显示面板在市场上的竞争力。
为达成本发明的前述目的,本发明提供一种显示面板,所述显示面板包括:
多个第一像素,所述第一像素具有一第一像素宽度、一第一像素长度及一第一像素面积;及
一异型边缘,所述异型边缘到最近的所述第一像素的一距离小于所述第一像素宽度,所述异型边缘与所述多个第一像素之间为一异型显示区,所述异型显示区设置有:

请参照图1及图2,现行常见具有异型切割的显示面板至少包括一主动显示区10、四个异型边缘20及四个直线边缘30。所述异型边缘20与所述直线边缘依序连接围绕所述主动显示区10。所述主动显示区10具有多个像素110,如图2所示,所述异型边缘20可以是一圆角,然而这样的设计在邻近所述异型边缘20会残留部分空间无法容置所述像素110。残留的空间可能是预留来配置电路走线或是单纯空间太小,但是不管如何这都会牺牲一定数量的像素110,进而导致所述异型边缘20的显示品质降低。
请参照图3,图3是本发明一实施例的一显示面板的局部放大图。在此利用与图1相似具有四个异型边缘20及四个直线边缘30,并且所述异型边缘20与所述直线边缘依序连接形成围绕所述主动显示区的显示面板的一角落,例如左上角。本发明提供了一种显示面板100,所述显示面板包括多个第一像素110、所述异型边缘20、多个第二像素120。
所述第一像素110具有一第一像素宽度W1、一第一像素长度L1及一第一像素面积。以图3的实施例来说,所述第一像素面积即所述第一像素宽度W1与所述第一像素长度L1的乘积。
所述异型边缘20连接相邻的两个直线边缘30,而所述异型边缘20到最近的所述第一像素110的一间距无法容置所述第一像素110。以图3的实施例来说,所述异型边缘20到最近的所述第一像素110的一距离D1小于所述第一像素宽度W1,所述异型边缘20与所述多个第一像素110之间为一异型显示区25,例如图3中的粗黑线围绕之处。也可以说,所述异型显示区25无法设置常备完整大小的所述第一像素110。所述异型边缘20可以是一倒角,例如一倒圆角,所述第一像素110及所述第二像素120依序朝所述倒角排列。所述异型边缘20也可以是其它非直线切割的边缘。
所述异型显示区25设置有所述多个第二像素120,所述第二像素120具有一第二像素宽度W2、一第二像素长度L2及一第二像素面积。以图3的实施例来说,所述第二像素面积即所述第二像素宽度W2与所述第二像素长度L2的乘积,其中所述第二像素面积小于所述第一像素面积。此外,所述第二像素长度L2等于所述第一像素长度L1,并且所述第二像素宽度W2小于所述第一像素宽度W1。
所述第一像素110包括多个第一子像素112、114、116,例如一第一红色子像素112、一第一绿色子像素114及一第一蓝色子像素116,所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素122、124、126,例如一第二红色子像素122、一第二绿色子像素124及一第二蓝色子像素126,所述多个第一子像素112、114、116都具有一第一子像素宽度W11,所述多个第二子像素122、124、126具有一第二子像素宽度W21,其中所述第二子像素宽度W21小于所述第一子像素宽度W11。应当理解的是,所述多个第一子像素112、114、116各自的所述第一子像素宽度W11可以相同或不相同,所述多个第二子像素122、124、126各自的所述第二子像素宽度W21可以相同或不相同。此外,所述第二子像素的面积小于所述第一子像素的面积。
所述多个第一子像素112、114、116彼此平行排列,并且所述第一子像素112、114、116具有一第一子像素长度L11,所述多个第二子像素122、124、126彼此平行排列,并且所述第二子像素122、124、126具有一第二子像素长度L21,其中所述第二子像素长度L21等于所述第一子像素长度L11。
请参照图4,图4是本发明另一实施例的一显示面板的局部放大图。在此利用与图1相似具有四个异型边缘20及四个直线边缘30,并且所述异型边缘20与所述直线边缘30依序连接形成围绕所述主动显示区的显示面板的一角落,例如左上角。本发明提供了一种显示面板100,所述显示面板包括多个第一像素110、所述异型边缘20、多个第二像素120及多个第三像素130。
所述第一像素110具有一第一像素宽度W1、一第一像素长度L1及一第一像素面积。以图4的实施例来说,所述第一像素面积即所述第一像素宽度W1与所述第一像素长度L1的乘积。
所述异型边缘20可以位于所述显示面板100的一角,所述异型边缘20连接相邻的两个直线边缘30。所述异型边缘20到最近的所述第一像素110的一间距无法容置所述第一像素110,其中所述间距可以是一距离D1。以图4的实施例来说,所述异型边缘20到最近的所述第一像素110的一距离D1小于所述第一像素宽度W1,所述异型边缘20与所述多个第一像素110之间为一异型显示区25,例如图3中的粗黑线围绕之处。也可以说,所述异型显示区25无法设置常备完整大小的所述第一像素110。所述异型边缘20可以是一倒角,例如一倒圆角,所述第一像素110、所述第二像素120及所述第三像素130依序朝所述倒角排列。所述异型边缘20也可以是其它非直线切割的边缘。
所述异型显示区25设置有所述多个第二像素120及所述多个第三像素130。所述第二像素120具有一第二像素宽度W2、一第二像素长度L2及一第二像素面积。以图4的实施例来说,所述第二像素面积即所述第二像素宽度W2与所述第二像素长度L2的乘积,其中所述第二像素面积小于所述第一像素面积。此外,所述第二像素长度L2等于所述第一像素长度L1,并且所述第二像素宽度W2小于所述第一像素宽度W1。所述第三像素130位于无法容置所述第二像素120的区域,所述第三像素130具有一第三像素宽度W3、一第三像素长度L3及一第三像素面积。同理,所述第三像素面积即所述第三像素宽度W3与所述第三像素长度L3的乘积,并且所述第三像素面积小于所述第二像素面积。所述第三像素长度L3等于所述第一像素长度L1,并且所述第三像素宽度W3小于所述第二像素宽度W2。意即所述第一像素110、所述第二像素120及所述第三像素130依序朝所述异型边缘20缩小排列。
所述第一像素110包括多个第一子像素112、114、116,例如一第一红色子像素112、一第一绿色子像素114及一第一蓝色子像素116。所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素122、124、126,例如一第二红色子像素122、一第二绿色子像素124及一第二蓝色子像素126。所述第三像素130包括多个第三子像素132、134、136,例如一第三红色子像素132、一第三绿色子像素134及一第三蓝色子像素136。所述多个第一子像素112、114、116都具有一第一子像素宽度W11,所述多个第二子像素122、124、126具有一第二子像素宽度W21,所述第三子像素132、134、136都具有一第三子像素宽度W31,其中所述第二子像素宽度W21小于所述第一子像素宽度W11,所述第三子像素宽度W31小于所述第二子像素宽度W21。应当理解的是,所述多个第一子像素112、114、116各自的所述第一子像素宽度W11可以相同或不相同,所述多个第二子像素122、124、126各自的所述第二子像素宽度W21可以相同或不相同,所述多个第三子像素132、134、136各自的所述第三子像素宽度W31可以相同或不相同。此外,所述第二子像素的面积小于所述第一子像素的面积,并且所述第三子像素的面积小于所述第二子像素的面积。
所述多个第一子像素112、114、116彼此平行排列,并且所述第一子像素112、114、116具有一第一子像素长度L11,所述多个第二子像素122、124、126彼此平行排列,并且所述第二子像素122、124、126具有一第二子像素长度L21,所述多个第三子像素132、134、136彼此平行排列,并且所述第三子像素132、134、136具有一第三子像素长度L3,其中所述第三子像素长度L3等于所述第二子像素长度L2及所述第一子像素长度L1。
综上所述,在配合异型边缘外型或预留电路走线的需求空间之后,本发明缩小部分像素或子像素的面积,例如所述多个第二子像素122、124、126或所述多个第三子像素132、134、136,将其置入无法放置正常大小像素的间距中,进而维持一定的显示品质。应当理解的是,本发明也可以利用缩小像素/子像素的长度或其它方式来缩小面积,进而达成相同的功效。
本发明的有益效果为:通过缩小部分的像素或子像素(R/G/B像素)的宽度满足设计所需空间,进而避免删除像素而使得异型边缘的显示品质的降低,从而提升产品的竞争力。
综上所述,虽然本发明已以优选实施例揭露如上,但上述优选实施例并非用以限制本发明,本领域的普通技术人员,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,均可作各种更动与润饰,因此本发明的保护范围以权利要求界定的范围为准。
Claims (16)
- 一种显示面板,其包含:多个第一像素,所述第一像素具有一第一像素宽度、一第一像素长度及一第一像素面积;及一异型边缘,所述异型边缘到最近的所述第一像素的一距离小于所述第一像素宽度,所述异型边缘与所述多个第一像素之间为一异型显示区,所述异型显示区设置有:多个第二像素,所述第二像素具有一第二像素宽度、一第二像素长度及一第二像素面积,所述第二像素长度等于所述第一像素长度,并且所述第二像素宽度小于所述第一像素宽度,其中所述第二像素面积小于所述第一像素面积;以及多个第三像素,位于无法容置所述第二像素的区域,所述第三像素具有一第三像素宽度、一第三像素长度及一第三像素面积,所述第三像素长度等于所述第一像素长度,并且所述第三像素宽度小于所述第二像素宽度,其中所述第三像素面积小于所述第二像素面积。
- 如权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素包括多个第一子像素,所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素,所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素宽度,所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素宽度,其中所述第二子像素宽度小于所述第一子像素宽度。
- 如权利要求2所述的显示面板,其中所述多个第一子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素长度,所述多个第二子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素长度,其中所述第二子像素长度等于所述第一子像素长度。
- 如权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素包括多个第一子像素,所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素,所述第三像素包括多个第三子像素,所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素宽度,所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素宽度,所述第三子像素具有一第三子像素宽度,其中所述第二子像素宽度小于所述第一子像素宽度,所述第三子像素宽度小于所述第二子像素宽度。
- 如权利要求4所述的显示面板,其中所述多个第一子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素长度,所述多个第二子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素长度,所述多个第三子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第三子像素具有一第三子像素长度,其中所述第三子像素长度等于所述第二子像素长度及所述第一子像素长度。
- 如权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素、所述第二像素及所述第三像素依序朝所述异型边缘缩小排列。
- 一种显示面板,其包含:多个第一像素,所述第一像素具有一第一像素宽度及一第一像素长度;及一异型边缘,所述异型边缘到最近的所述第一像素的一距离小于所述第一像素宽度,所述异型边缘与所述多个第一像素之间为一异型显示区,所述异型显示区设置有:多个第二像素,所述第二像素具有一第二像素宽度及一第二像素长度,所述第二像素长度等于所述第一像素长度,并且所述第二像素宽度小于所述第一像素宽度。
- 如权利要求7所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素包括多个第一子像素,所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素,所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素宽度,所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素宽度,其中所述第二子像素宽度小于所述第一子像素宽度。
- 如权利要求8所述的显示面板,其中所述多个第一子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素长度,所述多个第二子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素长度,其中所述第二子像素长度等于所述第一子像素长度。
- 如权利要求7所述的显示面板,其中所述异型显示区还设置有:多个第三像素,位于无法容置所述第二像素的区域,所述第三像素具有一第三像素宽度及一第三像素长度,所述第三像素长度等于所述第一像素长度,并且所述第三像素宽度小于所述第二像素宽度。
- 如权利要求10所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素包括多个第一子像素,所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素,所述第三像素包括多个第三子像素,所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素宽度,所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素宽度,所述第三子像素具有一第三子像素宽度,其中所述第二子像素宽度小于所述第一子像素宽度,所述第三子像素宽度小于所述第二子像素宽度。
- 如权利要求11所述的显示面板,其中所述多个第一子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第一子像素具有一第一子像素长度,所述多个第二子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第二子像素具有一第二子像素长度,所述多个第三子像素彼此平行排列,并且所述第三子像素具有一第三子像素长度,其中所述第三子像素长度等于所述第二子像素长度及所述第一子像素长度。
- 如权利要求10所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素、所述第二像素及所述第三像素依序朝所述异型边缘缩小排列。
- 一种显示面板,其包含:多个第一像素,所述第一像素具有一第一像素面积;及一异型边缘,所述异型边缘到最近的所述第一像素的一间距无法容置所述第一像素,所述异型边缘与所述多个第一像素之间为一异型显示区,所述异型显示区设置有:多个第二像素,所述第二像素具有一第二像素面积,其中所述第二像素面积小于所述第一像素面积。
- 如权利要求14所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素具有一第一像素宽度及一第一像素长度,所述第二像素具有一第二像素宽度及一第二像素长度,所述第二像素长度等于所述第一像素长度,并且所述第二像素宽度小于所述第一像素宽度。
- 如权利要求15所述的显示面板,其中所述第一像素包括多个第一子像素,所述第二像素包括多个第二子像素,所述第一子像素的长度等于所述第二子像素的长度,并且所述第二子像素宽度小于所述第一子像素宽度。
