(1)本発明の態様に係るイントラコンカ型イヤホンは、振動膜と、前記振動膜を支持するヨークと、を有し、前記振動膜の振動によって発音するスピーカと、前記スピーカを収容するケースと、を備え、前記ケースは、前記振動膜の外縁近傍に形成され、前記スピーカによって発音された音を使用者の耳における外耳道に伝搬させるための音通部と、前記振動膜に面する部分に形成され、前記使用者の耳甲介腔に面する耳珠に当接するための第一当接部と、前記ヨークの前記振動膜とは反対側に形成され、前記ケースから前記反対側へ向けて凸の湾曲状をなして膨出するとともに、前記耳甲介腔に面する対珠および前記対珠に連なる耳甲介に当接するための第二当接部と、を有し、前記第二当接部は、弾性材料で形成されている。
イヤホンを使用する際、第一当接部を耳珠に当接させつつ、第二当接部を対珠および耳甲介に当接させることができる。そのため、耳珠と対珠とでケースを支持する場合と比較して、広い範囲でケースを耳甲介に接触させることができる。加えて、第二当接部は、弾性材料で形成されていることで、イヤホンを使用する際、対珠および耳甲介の形状に沿うように、第二当接部を弾性変形させることができる。したがって、装着性を向上することができる。
第二カバーを弾性材料で形成することによって、第二当接部に弾性を持たせることができるため、装着性を向上することができる。
筒体が第一カバーの外側に固定された場合と比較して、小型化することができる。加えて、イヤホンを使用する際、筒体を耳珠と対珠との間に配置することができるため、筒体を目立ちにくくすることができる。
第二カバーが弾性変形する場合、第三カバーによって第二カバーの弾性変形量を制限することができる。加えて、第三カバーによってスピーカと第二カバーとが仕切られるため、第二カバーの変形部分がスピーカ側に入り込まないようにすることができる。
制動孔の調整によって高品質の再生音を得ることができる。加えて、制動孔を第一カバーまたは第二カバーに形成した場合と比較して、イヤホンを使用する際、制動孔には指が触れにくいため、再生音を高品質に維持することができる。
第二カバーと第三カバーとを組み付ける際、第二カバーおよび第三カバーの相対位置が定まるため、製造効率を向上することができる。
第三カバーを視認することにより、左耳用か右耳用かを容易に判別することができる。
シリコーンゴムは、生体適合性、耐熱性、耐薬品性、撥水性、電気絶縁性などに優れているため、弾性材料として好適である。
図1は、実施形態に係るイヤホン1の斜視図である。図2は、実施形態に係るイヤホン1の背面図である。図3は、図2のIII-III断面図である。図4は、図3のスピーカ2周辺の拡大断面図である。
図1に示すように、イヤホン1は、スピーカ2(図4参照)と、スピーカ2を収容するケース3と、ケーブル50が挿通される筒体4と、を備える。
図4に示すように、スピーカ2は、振動膜9と、振動膜9を支持するヨーク10と、を備える。スピーカ2は、振動膜9の振動によって発音する。例えば、スピーカ2の口径D1は、10mm以上20mm以下に設定される。本実施形態において、スピーカ2の口径D1は、14.8mmである。
底部13は、筒壁部11の第二端部(軸方向で開放端部とは反対側の端部)に結合されている。底部13は、筒壁部11と同軸に設けられた貫通孔13aを有する。
マグネット14は、ヨーク10内に収容されている。マグネット14は、筒壁部11と同軸の円筒状を有する。マグネット14は、底部13の貫通孔13aと実質的に同じ大きさの中空部14aを有する。マグネット14は、中空部14aを底部13の貫通孔13aに揃えるようにして底部13の第一面に配置されている。
図3に示すように、ケース3は、スピーカ2を振動膜9の側から覆う第一カバー20と、スピーカ2をヨーク10の側から覆う第二カバー30と、第一カバー20と第二カバー30との間に配置され、スピーカ2をヨーク10の側から覆う第三カバー40と、を備える。
平壁部42aは、第二カバー30および回路基板16のそれぞれから離反している。平壁部42aは、軸方向から見て楕円形状を有する(図6参照)。
連結壁部42bは、第二カバー30における連結部32の傾斜に沿うように傾斜する傾斜壁部42cと、回路基板16の端子部55(はんだ付け部分)を避けるように窪む逃げ凹部42dと、を有する。傾斜壁部42cは、第二カバー30における連結部32の内面に当接している。連結壁部42bにおいて逃げ凹部42d近傍の部分は、第二カバー30および回路基板16のそれぞれから離反している。
嵌合枠部44は、支持枠部43の外径よりも小さい環状を有する(図7参照)。
図1に示すように、筒体4は、ケース3における第一カバー20に結合されている。筒体4は、第一カバー20の音通部21とは反対側の外端20aよりも内側に固定されている(図2参照)。筒体4は、第一カバー20の外端部から一方向(図2の紙面下方向)に向けて延在している。筒体4には、電子機器(不図示)に接続されるケーブル50が挿通されている。ケーブル50には、スピーカ2に音声信号を供給するための配線51(図7参照)が内蔵されている。
図7に示すように、第一カバー20と第三カバー40との間には、音声信号を供給するための配線51を通す配線通過構造60が設けられている(図8参照)。配線通過構造60は、筒体4の取付部(筒体4における第一カバー20との結合部)に形成された第一切欠き61と、第一カバー20の外周縁部に形成された第二切欠き62と、第三カバー40の嵌合枠部44に形成された第三切欠き63と、を有する(図8参照)。
図7に示すように、第一カバー20と第三カバー40との間には、第一カバー20および第三カバー40を位置決めする凹凸構造70(以下「第一凹凸構造70」ともいう。)が設けられている(図8参照)。第一凹凸構造70は、第一カバー20と第三カバー40との取付部に設けられている。
図3に示すように、第二カバー30と第三カバー40との間には、第二カバー30および第三カバー40を位置決めする凹凸構造80(以下「第二凹凸構造80」ともいう。)が設けられている。第二凹凸構造80は、第二カバー30と第三カバー40との取付部に設けられている。
凸構造81は、第二カバー30の外周縁部の径方向内壁に形成された複数の凸部81aを備える(図5参照)。図5に示すように、複数の凸部81aは、周方向に間隔をあけて配置されている。本実施形態では、4つの凸部81aが周方向に実質的に等間隔で配置されている。軸方向から見て、凸部81aは、円弧状を有する。
回路基板16には、電子機器(不図示)からケーブル50を介して音声信号が供給される(図8参照)。すると、回路基板16からリード線を介して音声信号がボイスコイル18に供給される(図4参照)。すると、ボイスコイル18が変位することにより、振動膜9が振動する。これにより、スピーカ2が発音する。スピーカ2によって発音された音は、音通孔21aを通じて使用者の耳における外耳道100へ伝搬される(図10参照)。
以下、本実施形態のイヤホン1の作用について説明する。
図9は、実施形態に係るイヤホン1を右耳へ装着した状態を示す図である。図10は、図9のX-X断面を含む、本実施形態に係るイヤホン1の使用状態の説明図である。図11は、比較例に係るイヤホン1Xの使用状態の説明図である。
図11に示すように、比較例に係るイヤホン1Xは、ケース3X内にカップ状のヨーク10Xを配置し、振動膜9Xをヨーク10Xの開放端部に固定した構造を備える。比較例では、イヤホン1Xを使用する際、耳珠102と対珠103とでケース3Xを支持する。
ケース3Xは、ロート状のケース基部5Xと、ケース基部5Xの先端(図中右側)を覆う前面カバー6Xと、を備える。ヨーク10Xの開放端部は、前面カバー6X内に固定されている。振動膜9Xの振動によって発音された音は、振動膜9X前方の音通孔7Xから外部へ伝搬される。
外耳道100とケース3Xとの間の隙間が大きくなると、低音の再生が不十分になる可能性が高い。加えて、ケース3Xの側部(図11では紙面上部)が外耳道100に入り込み、振動膜9Xが耳甲介104に対向し、振動膜9Xが外耳道100から離れることにより、再生音が外耳道100へ十分に伝わらない可能性が高い。
本実施形態においては、イヤホン1を使用する際、ケース3における第一当接部22が耳珠102に当接し、かつ、弾性を持つ第二当接部31が、耳甲介腔101に面する対珠103および前記対珠103に連なる耳甲介104に当接する。そのため、比較例よりも広い範囲でケース3を耳甲介104に接触させることができる。
加えて、本実施形態においては、第二当接部31の弾性によって、音通孔21aが外耳道100へ指向するように、音通部21が外耳道100の入口部に挿入される。そのため、低音の再生を十分に得ることができる。加えて、音漏れを減少することができ、再生音を外耳道100へ十分に伝えることができる。
本実施形態においては、スピーカ2の一端部が外部空間にはみ出すように配置されるため、比較例のスピーカ2Xよりも大きい口径のスピーカ2を採用することも可能となる。この場合、低域の再生能力を強化することができ、より高音質化することができる。
加えて、本実施形態においては、音通部21が外耳道100に挿入されるため、比較例のケース3Xよりも深く外耳道100にケース3が入り込むことにより、密閉度が向上する。そのため、比較例のスピーカ2Xよりも小型のスピーカ2を採用することも可能となる。
この構成によれば、イヤホン1を使用する際、第一当接部22を耳珠102に当接させつつ、第二当接部31を対珠103および耳甲介104に当接させることができる。そのため、耳珠102と対珠103とでケースを支持する場合と比較して、広い範囲でケース3を耳甲介104に接触させることができる。加えて、第二当接部31は、弾性材料で形成されていることで、イヤホン1を使用する際、対珠103および耳甲介104の形状に沿うように、第二当接部31を弾性変形させることができる。したがって、装着性を向上することができる。
加えて、イヤホン1を使用する際、第二当接部31の弾性によって、音通部21が外耳道100に挿入されるため、低音の再生を十分に得ることができる。加えて、音漏れを減少することができ、再生音を外耳道100へ十分に伝えることができる。
第二カバー30を弾性材料で形成することによって、第二当接部31に弾性を持たせることができるため、装着性を向上することができる。
筒体4が第一カバー20の外側に固定された場合と比較して、小型化することができる。加えて、イヤホン1を使用する際、筒体4を耳珠102と対珠103との間に配置することができるため、筒体4を目立ちにくくすることができる。
第二カバー30が弾性変形する場合、第三カバー40によって第二カバー30の弾性変形量を制限することができる。加えて、第三カバー40によってスピーカ2と第二カバー30とが仕切られるため、第二カバー30の変形部分がスピーカ2側に入り込まないようにすることができる。
制動孔の調整によって高品質の再生音を得ることができる。加えて、制動孔41を第一カバー20または第二カバー30に形成した場合と比較して、イヤホン1を使用する際、制動孔41には指が触れにくいため、再生音を高品質に維持することができる。
第二カバー30と第三カバー40とを組み付ける際、第二カバー30および第三カバー40の相対位置が定まるため、製造効率を向上することができる。
シリコーンゴムは、生体適合性、耐熱性、耐薬品性、撥水性、電気絶縁性などに優れているため、弾性材料として好適である。
上記実施形態では、第二カバー30全体が弾性材料で形成されている例を挙げて説明したが、これに限らない。例えば、第二カバー30の一部(第二当接部31のみ)が弾性材料で形成されていてもよい。また、ケース3全体が弾性材料で形成されていてもよい。すなわち、ケース3において少なくとも第二当接部31が弾性材料で形成されていればよい。
第三カバー40L,40Rを視認することにより、左耳用か右耳用かを容易に判別することができる。

前記ヨークの前記振動膜とは反対側に形成され、前記ケースから前記反対側へ向けて凸の湾曲状をなして膨出するとともに、前記耳甲介腔に面する対珠および前記対珠に連なる耳甲介に当接するための第二当接部と、を有し、
前記第二当接部は、弾性材料で形成されていることを特徴とするイントラコンカ型イヤホン。 - 前記ケースは、

- 前記第三カバーは、前記スピーカの背圧を逃がすための制動孔を有することを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載のイントラコンカ型イヤホン。
- 前記第二カバーと前記第三カバーとの間には、前記第二カバーおよび前記第三カバーを位置決めする凹凸構造が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4から6のいずれか一項に記載のイントラコンカ型イヤホン。
- 前記第三カバーは、左耳用と右耳用とで異なる色を有することを特徴とする請求項4から7のいずれか一項に記載のイントラコンカ型イヤホン。
- 前記弾性材料は、シリコーンゴムであることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のイントラコンカ型イヤホン。
