Abstract
When braking is studied closely, thermal effects in particular are observed on the discs, caused by friction, but also by electromagnetic/magnetic counter-reactions. Indeed, during braking, sliding takes place as between two magnets that make up a strong magnetic screen of opposition and counter-reaction between the disc(s) and the pads, between the moving and stationary parts. This magnetic cushion displays the self-induced Barlow's Wheel effect, the creation of an electric current that self-induces a magnetic and electric field. The aim of the present PCT application is to cancel this self-induced counter-reaction, by swift and effective quantum automatic control by the device. In addition to stabilising the trajectory, the device makes braking more effective, and reduces the wear to the pads, discs, drums and linings, significantly reducing atmospheric pollution.
