Abstract

The present invention is to help children and parents through a very stressful and unsettling period that is potty training and even after. The fact is that children can't hold their need to go for a very long time and sometimes doesn't get a bathroom in time and that can't be very frustrating for everyone. The fact that parents can't always find rapidly a suitable place for them is a very big challenge for parents training their children and even after. There are solutions available right now on the market but they are not as small, light and easy to use as this invention is. The invention comprises a portable foldable potty seat that uses a proprietary embedded system of closable bags to collect and retain human wastes. This invention is also another functionality of the existing portable chair or seat and three pod seat. This invention can be use by schools, kinder garden, nannies, hospitals and day care. It can be produced in a bigger scale for adults to use it when going on camping or hunting and other places where toilets are not available.

THE KWIKIPEE - PORTABLE POTTY SEAT

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention call The Kwikipee is an amelioration and another functionality to what we know has a portable chair or seat and the three pod seat. This invention will help children and parents through a very stressful and unsettling period that is potty training and even after. The fact is that children can't hold their need to go for a very long time and sometimes doesn't get to a bathroom in time and that can't be very frustrating for everyone. The fact that parents can't always find rapidly a suitable place for them is a very big challenge for parents training their children and even after. There are solutions available right now on the market but they are not as small, light and ready to use as this invention is.

The invention comprises a portable foldable potty seat that uses a proprietary embedded system of closable bags to collect and retain human excrement.

This invention can also be use by schools, kinder garden, nannies, hospitals and day care and for indoor and outdoor activities like parks and beaches. It can be stored in, and not limited to, a car, stroller and even a hand bag. It also can be produced in a bigger scale for adults to use it when going on camping, to the beach or hunting and other places where toilets are not available.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Children often need to go at times where no toilet are found or near enough for them to hold it and get there in time like in parks and beaches but also on the road and in some cities where public bathrooms are nowhere to be found. Also there is nothing fun for the parent or the child with showing your kid's bottom to everyone passing by.

There are solutions that exist but by adding a functionality to the existing portable chair or seat or three pod seat we obtain an invention that will provide all the elements all together :

• Lightweight and portable

• Ready to use can be use very rapidly

• Doesn't need to be assembled

• Small enough to fit in a purse

• Provide bags integrated into the seat easy to reach with a container to retain wastes

• Washable

• Safe for kids

• Provides intimacy

The fact that it is ready to use in seconds and the size of the portable seat are very important elements of the invention. Other have provided portable seat but not as fast and easy to use and small enough to fit in a purse or in a stroller with everything else that parents need to bring along. It has to be light because parents have enough things they need to bring along for the ride; we don't want to add to that.

Bags are integrated into the seat to provide the parents with clean and quick solution and once they are done using the seat it is ready for the next time in no time. No worries about refilling bags and no chance on forgetting anything for the next use.

The portable seat for children that we designed is as ready to use, as light and as small with integrated bags for a clean and reusable seat. Not to forget safe, fun and keeps the child intimacy.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention provides a ready to use solution that is safe, light, washable, fun solution during a very difficult and unsettling time in a child and parent life. The solution can be used continuously after that period for activities where there is no bathroom on site or close by.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention describes a new functionality to the portable seat that unfold very quickly and easily fold back into a smaller portable structure. Because of its material it is light, secure and stable. The material for the seat is also removable and washable.

A pocket at the back of the seat contains bags that can easily be pulled out for quick use. On the seat there is a system to hold the bag in place during and after use. For example, straps that are holding the bag electrostatically, magnetically or through friction or hooks in place while the child seats and stays in place when the child rise from the seat. It can also be mechanism on the side of the seat that will hold the bag in place. Once the seat is fold the pocket with the bags becomes a handle.

The bags are recyclable. They are easy to pull from the pocket and easy to detach after usage. There is a fine line between each bag to help detaching the bags. Also there is a string to close off the bag when done. The bags have a retainer in the middle to allow the liquid and solid to fall below the seat so that the child doesn't get dirty. The structure once it is folded is very small and can fit into a hand bag, a bag pack, a stroller a car etc. At a bigger scale this invention can also be use by adults when camping, hunting or taking long walks on the beach or in the forest.

This invention prevents the child from having to hold it which he can't easily do at first and the parents to stress out when going out. It doesn't take too much space among a lot of other things that the parents need (bottles, clean up swipes, diapers, toys, etc). The child doesn't have to undress in public places (streets corner, trees). When car travelling the parent doesn't have to go faster to find restrooms and can stop at secure places to use the seat.

This invention can be use by schools, nannies, camp ground, hospitals, kinder garden and day care, parks and beaches. This invention can be use by adults for the same reasons.

EXAMPLE 1

When playing at the park, the parent can put the seat somewhere private behind a tree or bush and the child would run to it when needed. The parent will detach the bag, fold it and close it off with the string and put it in the trash. The child will not be but naked in front of people.

When driving the parent will stop get the seat, unfold it between the car doors and the child will seat on it. It will take a very little time to get the seat ready.

Don't forget that the child is very sensible when starting to learn potty training and not being able to hold it long enough is very stressful for them and having this seat can make them very secure.

Claims

THEREFORE WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:

1 . A new functionality to the existing portable chair or seat and three pod

seat by transforming it into a portable potty seat for children.

2. A potty seat according to claim 1 wherein it is smaller than the regular size portable seat, foldable and light to be place, but not limited to, in small places like a hand bag, backpack and/or stroller.

3. A potty seat according to claims 1 -2 ready to use in seconds no assemble needed.

4. A potty seat according to claims 1 -2 wherein the seat is removable and the material washable.

5. A potty seat according to claims 1 -2 wherein the potty seat has, but not limited to, three or four legs and is safe for seating a person and/or child depending on the height of the model produced.

6. A potty seat according to claim 1 wherein the waste collecting bags are integrated as a pack within the potty seat for maximum convenience.

7. A potty seat according to claims 1 & 6 wherein the bag pack can be

replaced, removed or added again.

8. Waste collecting bags according to claims 6-7 use a proprietary packing and closing system to fit within the potty seat, can be easily opened and installed on the seat and be securely closed to retain wastes.

9. Waste collecting bags according to claims 6-8 are securely being held by the potty seat according to claim 1 for maximum convenience.

10. Waste collecting bags according to claims 5-8 collect waste below the

level of the seat so as the waste doesn't contact the seat or the person.
