Abstract

Disclosed is an adsorption dryer for gases, in particular for drying compressed air, preferably for industrial applications, comprising at least two chambers (B1, B2) containing a desiccant, and also comprising valves (V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, V10) and a control unit for controlling the valves (V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, V10). Said dryer is characterised in that it has a sensor (FC) for the volumetric flow rate, a sensor (TC) for the temperature of the gas, more particularly the compressed air temperature, and a sensor (PC) for the pressure, the sensors being located such that they continuously determine current values for the volumetric flow rate, the temperature of the gas and the pressure and that the control unit controls the valves (V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, V10) in accordance with this determination.
