Description

PURIFICADOR EXTERIOR MEJORADO POR CORRIENTES DE AIRE  OUTDOOR PURIFIER IMPROVED BY AIR CURRENTS
Campo técnico de la invención Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to the technical field of filtration of pollutants for ecological purposes. In particular, this invention consists of an outdoor air purifier that is placed on vehicle awnings or outside buildings, which takes advantage of air currents, for the reduction of pollutants.
Antecedentes de la invención Background of the invention
At present, the problem of air pollution has increased, both in Mexican metropolises and in various cities around the world. For example, Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadala ara have a poor and dangerous air quality because the concentration of particulate matter in these cities exceeds the limits established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Mexican Standards ( NOM), which increases the risk of suffering from respiratory, cardiovascular and cancer diseases. Particulate matter is tiny particles that are emitted into the atmosphere by the combustion of vehicles and industry. The problem is that these particles are so small that they are easily inhaled. Then, they accumulate in the lungs and can get to enter the bloodstream. The pollution causes more than 15,000 deaths a year in Mexico alone and more than 3,000,000 worldwide. To address this problem, there are several filters and filtration systems for contaminating particles that seek to improve the quality of the air we breathe. For example, various indoor filtration and purification systems are marketed. However, to address the general pollution problem and help clean the air in these large cities, outdoor and open space purifiers are needed. It has been estimated that if each vehicle that circulates, in its walk is purifying air it is estimated that it could reduce the emissions of suspended particles by up to 40%. If large purifiers are also installed on the roofs of the buildings, the contribution to the cleaning of the air will be much greater and the problem currently being mitigated could be greatly mitigated.
Thus, there are patent documents in the state of the art aimed at partially providing some proposals for inventions on purifiers and external filters. In this regard, the patent application in China no. CN201410299379A refers to an air filter mounted on the top of a vehicle. The air filter comprises a filter assembly, a housing, an air inlet and an air outlet. The filter assembly consists of a layer of filtration net in horizontal position, which is fixed in a housing and is divided into an air inlet and an air outlet. According to this document, air with contaminating particles enters the housing through the air inlet and is filtered through the filter assembly. Thus, clean air is directed from the air outlet through an air line to a vehicle engine. The disadvantage with the air filter described in this Chinese document is that clean air is used to enter the engine, but it is not used to improve the quality of the surrounding outdoor air. Another disadvantage is that it does not mention or describe means to force the passage of air through the filter assembly.
Similarly, the Netherlands patent application no. NL1034255A describes a system designed to filter both dust and carbon dioxide. The air flow through the filter is generated by the movement of the vehicle. This document also suggests the use of scrubbers to remove carbon dioxide. The system can be integrated into an existing spoiler or specially designed a spoiler for this use. The document suggests the installation of this system on or under the awning of the vehicle. The disadvantage with the system described in this Dutch document is that it does not mention or describe means for forcing the passage of air through the filter assembly. It is also limited to use to retain dust and carbon dioxide, and not other relevant contaminants. Finally use of scrubbers inside the system makes it complicated and more expensive.
Also, European patent application EP2011808142A refers to an air conditioning system for railway vehicles, in which all the necessary components of an air conditioning system of the passenger compartment, in particular, compressor, condenser, fan, filters, elements heating, sensor systems and the controller are structurally integrated in a tray of equipment arranged on the roof of the vehicle. In addition, this equipment tray is housed in a housing arranged in a free construction space on the roof of the vehicle in such a way that it forms part of the shape of the roof within the contour of the railway vehicle. Thus, the technical problem addressed in this document is to provide an air conditioning system suitable for railway vehicles used as underground railways with air treatment and air distribution components, as a result of which the high quality of the air conditioning is guaranteed even during the long trip in tunnels. The disadvantage with the system described in this European document is that clean air is used to enter it inside the vehicle, but it is not used to improve the quality of the surrounding outside air. Also, this system is integrated with the air conditioning system that solves different technical problems.
Moreover, the Korean patent application no. KR199558086A describes a clean air supply device for the interior of a vehicle. The delivery device comprises a "U" shaped air tube that is formed along a front face and both side faces of a vehicle roof panel and a grid formed on one of the side faces of the tube and open towards the front direction of the roof panel. Inside the tube are elements such as a blocking plate formed in multilevel, and various inlet flow holes so that the air passes through the grid and flows into the air tube. In addition, an air inlet device consists of a filter to retain fine foreign matter such as dust entering the inlet hole. The disadvantage with the system described in this Korean document is that clean air is used to enter it inside the vehicle, but it is not used to improve the quality of the surrounding outside air.
Finally, U.S. patent no. US6878054 protects a ventilation channel for a vehicle roof, for ventilation inside the vehicle, where the channel has an air duct with a front air opening and with a rear air opening that discharges over the roof of the vehicle of motor, the air duct is connected inside the vehicle through a flow path. The roof of the vehicle is preferably formed as a glass roof with at least two glass surfaces, on which the ventilation cover essentially of a central longitudinal axis is mounted. The disadvantage with the system described in this Korean document is that clean air is used to enter it inside the vehicle, but it is not used to improve the quality of the surrounding outside air. Also the shape of the ventilation channel is specially designed for vehicles with sunroofs or windows on the roof of the vehicle, which limits the application in other vehicles.
