Abstract

The invention relates to a linear capping system having multiple independent traction heads, which has the advantage of being a compact system that facilitates factory distribution in companies for container-closing processes, wherein, due the the reduced dimensions thereof, the system is low-cost to produce in comparison to the rotary closing machines, and, in contrast to said machines, the system according to the invention has the characteristic of closing multiple containers simultaneously, thereby permitting greater efficiency in the production processes. Another advantage of the system according to the invention is that it has a reduced number of parts for the change in format, which permits operating adjustments to be carried out quickly and efficiently, permitting a reduction in the downtimes between different production batches, and, due to the dimensions of the system, same permits easy access to any component of the system, thereby also improving the maintenance operation times.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the technical field of mechanics, electronics, programmable electrical control, pneumatics and packaging machines, since it provides a linear plugging system with multiple independent traction heads.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

 At present, production processes are very important for the supply of products in the market. With globalization, companies engaged in product packaging have found themselves in need of optimizing their production lines to supply the markets and thus be more competitive in the industrial field.

With the passage of time and in search of the improvement of the production lines, teams of different characteristics have been developed for the different stages of the production processes, where the approach has been channeled to the automation of the processes with the sole objective to achieve greater efficiency of the lines and where there is less and less interference from the hand of man to achieve that goal.

A large part of the production processes that involve the packaging of products, requires at some stage of the process of closing the container with the finished product, said closure is achieved with different types and forms of lids that can also be of different materials.

Among the wide range of constructive typologies and methods of operation of capping systems that exist for the packaging of products are the capping systems for screw caps. For this capping system a wide variety of machines have been developed that offer a great facility for the application and placement of. the lid on the final packaging of the products, where, to mention in general, they are:

 • Manual screwed systems: These are practical and fast, but require the skill and willingness of the operator to achieve maximum performance, these are practical for production capacities below 50 containers per minute.

 • Semiautomatic systems: These systems offer the advantage of great functionality without depending so much on the operator, since this only has to present the lids manually in each of the packages, but also requires great skill that allows the operator to supply the cap at machine speed. These have the advantage of handling capping systems for screw caps, pressure caps or twist off caps.

 • Automatic screw-on systems: These systems have integral cover orientators, and these are offered in adequate capacities to complement the packaging equipment. These tapping or pressure capping equipment are rotary, which have the advantage of being a compact and efficient equipment.

For automatic screwing systems, initially rotating equipment was designed, which has great advantages because of the system that makes them up, after this, they began to develop linear plugging systems, which have the advantage of being more compact and of lower manufacturing cost, these only have a capping head, which is reflected in low productivity or in some cases, this becomes a bottleneck for the process, which represents production delays and in This automatically reflects losses for companies due to delays.

A technical patent search was carried out for systems of linear plugging of multiple independent traction heads, where it was found that different types of machines have been developed for that purpose, as mentioned in US8656688 (B2), published on February 25, 2014, with the title "TAPONADORA" which describes a capper used for a wide variety of containers and comprising a container carrier, which is adapted to be driven by a capping motor that is driven to transport the containers that It is located in the lower part, and in the upper part, which has at least one closing element and which is also adapted to be driven by the capping motor, the upper part is vertically adjustable in relation to the lower part at least for adaptation to different container heights, and where the top is adjusted vertically by the capper motor, and a clutch system It is provided, which is adapted to be selectively switched between a drive function and a height adjustment function at the top. As we can see, this document describes a capping system that performs the operation of the closure of packages one by one, and lacks the provision to adapt multiple heads so it does not solve the problem of making the process more efficient by closing more of one container at a time.

On the other hand, the publication of the utility model CN202849001U, published on April 3, 2013, entitled "SCREW DRILLING DEVICE WITH DIGITAL CONTROL OF MULTIPLE HEADS" describes a screwed capping device with digital control of multiple heads comprising a plurality of assemblies of electrically operated devices for screwed capping, a pressed slide guide band, a guide groove of sliding, an installation plate, a machine frame and a control panel system. Each bolted capping drive electrical device consists of a servomotor, a transmission controller and a screwed capping machine. The installation plate is fixed with welding on the machine frame. The sliding guide groove is firmly fixed on the installation plate. A sliding block is installed in each electrical device of the screwed plug assembly. The plurality of assemblies of the electric actuating devices of the screwed capping are made to coincide with the sliding guide groove through the sliding blocks and are installed in the sliding guide grooves. The pressed slide guide band is installed in the slide guide groove. The control panel system is electrically connected to each transmission controller. The screwed capping device with digital multi-head control is quick to adjust in the electrical assemblies of the screwed capping device and to perform screwed capping operations with different standard buckets and to make exact adjustments in the parameters by means of the digital control of the screwed capping . In relation to this document, we can observe that, although the device allows the exchange of heads for the closure of different types and / or sizes of covers, it still belongs to the rotary type which, although it allows a more efficient closure, is a machine of dimensions greater than that of an in-line capper, so the installation space must be larger, reducing or limiting the plant distribution, it should be mentioned that the capping is still piece by piece.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

It is, therefore, object of the present invention, to provide an independent multi-head linear plugging system, which allows the placement and closing of more of one container at a time, allowing to increase the efficiency in the productivity of the capping of containers with screw caps, eliminating possible bottlenecks and improving productivity times, where the system is adjustable to a wide variety of sizes and shapes of containers and lids thus reducing operating costs.

The system of linear plugging of multiple heads of independent traction is of reduced dimensions, allowing access to the complements of the system in an easy way allowing a rapid intervention for maintenance services, in addition to allowing to make changes of format in an efficient way to decrease the boot time between processes.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

The characteristic details of this novel system of linear plugging of multiple independent traction heads are clearly shown in the following description and in the accompanying figures, as well as an illustration of that, and following the same reference signs to indicate the parts shown . However, said figures are shown by way of example and should not be considered as limiting for the present invention.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
