Abstract

Disclosed are a receptacle connector which is easy to manufacture and has improved durability, for example, so as not to be thermally deformed even when used for a long time, and a method for manufacturing the same. The receptacle connector electrically connects a plug connector and a circuit board, and comprises: a ceramic substrate, an upper contact pin, a lower contact pin, a holder and a metal shell. The ceramic substrate has a plurality of protrusions which are formed on the upper surface and the lower surface thereof at a predetermined interval. The upper contact pin is coupled to a groove between the protrusions on the upper surface of the ceramic substrate. The lower contact pin is placed on a groove between the protrusions on the lower surface of the ceramic substrate. The holder fixes the ceramic substrate, the upper contact pin and the lower contact pin to each other. The metal shell is formed in the shape of a hollow cylinder with an opened front side and surrounds the ceramic substrate and the upper and lower contact pins. The method for manufacturing the receptacle connector is a method for manufacturing the receptacle connector that electrically connects a plug connector and a circuit substrate, and may comprise the steps of: preparing a paste by mixing ceramic powder with an organic matter comprising a binder, a plasticizer, a dispersant and a solvent; printing protrusions on a flat ceramic plate at a predetermined interval using the paste, and then performing degreasing and sintering to manufacture an upper ceramic plate and a lower ceramic plate which have a plurality of protrusions formed on one surface thereof at a predetermined interval; coupling the upper contact pin and the lower contact pin to the groove between the protrusions of the upper ceramic plate and the lower ceramic plate; and fixing the upper contact pin, the upper ceramic plate, the lower ceramic plate and the lower contact pin to each another using the holder.
