SERVER DEVICE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
[0001] The invention relates to a reservation confirmation method, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program, and a server device.
2. Description of Related Art
[0002] There is an existing technique for reminding a person of a reserved date and time or a reserved place. For example, Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2012- 113680 (JP 2012- 113680 A) describes a reservation calling system and method. The reservation calling system and method are configured to call a plurality of users who receive a predetermined job or service before a reserved date and time.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0003] In recent years, with an increase in the number of tourists from overseas, there are increasing cases where a subscriber to a shop or service is a tourist. In the meantime, because of reasons, such as a change of dates for a tour and unexpected deconditioning, there are not less cases where a tourist does not visit a reserved destination without any advance notice to the reserved destination. The reserved destination, such as a shop, may have already made preparations for providing a product or service to a subscriber. If the subscriber does not come to the reserved destination, not only a loss of sales opportunities but also a loss of uncollectable preparation cost can be sustained.
[0004] The invention provides a technique for reducing a situation that a visitor from overseas does not visit a reserved destination without any advance notice to the reserved destination. [0005] According to a first aspect of the invention a reservation confirmation method is provided. The reservation confirmation method includes: detecting whether a terminal device has passed across a border on the basis of a change of positional information or IP address, detected by the terminal device; at the time when the terminal device has passed across a border, causing the terminal device to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device, facility reservation information stored in an external server device and associated with the terminal device, and facility reservation information stored in an external server device and associated with a holder ID of the terminal device; and, when input of final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device is scheduled to use the reserved facility has been detected, transmitting the final confirmation information to a management terminal of the facility.

The reservation confirmation method includes: acquiring positional information of a terminal device from the terminal device; detecting whether the terminal device has passed across a border on the basis of the positional information ; at the time when the fact that the terminal device has passed across the border has been detected, causing the terminal device to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device, facility reservation information associated with the terminal device, and facility reservation information associated with a holder ID of the terminal device; and, when final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device is scheduled to use the reserved facility has been received from the terminal device, transmitting the final confirmation information to a management terminal of the facility.

The server device includes : a position acquisition unit that is configured to acquire positional information of a terminal device from the terminal device; a detection unit that is configured to detect whether the terminal device has passed across a border on the basis of the positional information; a display information transmission unit that is configured to, at the time when the fact that the terminal device has passed across the border has been detected, transmit information for causing the terminal device to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device, facility reservation information associated with the terminal device, and facility reservation information associated with a holder ID of the terminal device; a final confirmation information reception unit that is configured to receive, from the terminal device, final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device is scheduled to use the reserved facility; and a transmission unit that is configured to, when the final confirmation information reception unit has received the final confirmation information from the terminal device, transmit the final confirmation information to a management terminal of the facility.

[0013] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Embodiments that will be described below show examples of certain embodiments of the invention.
Overall Configuration
[0014] Initially, an overall configuration including a terminal device 1, a server device 2, and a management terminal 3 according to certain embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1.
[0015] The terminal device 1 and the server device 2 are communicably connected to each other via a network 4. The management terminal 3 of a facility, which is a reserved destination, is also connected to the network 4, and transmits data to the server device 2 or receives data from the server device 2 via the network 4.
[0016] The terminal device 1 may be, for example, a mobile communication terminal, such as a smartphone, a cellular phone, a tablet computer, and a notebook personal computer, or may be a stationary communication terminal, such as a desktop personal computer.
Functional Configuration
[0017] Next, the functional configuration of each of the terminal device 1, server device 2 and management terminal 3 according to certain embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 2.
[0018] The terminal device 1 includes a control unit 11 , a storage unit 12, a display unit 13, and an input unit 14.
[0019] The control unit 11 includes an arithmetic unit, such as a central processing unit (CPU), and controls various components of the terminal device 1. The CPU executes arithmetic processing in accordance with a program in the terminal device 1. The arithmetic unit also includes a RAM, and the like. The RAM is used as a temporary storage area (working area) for processing. The control unit 11 reads and executes data and programs stored in the storage unit 12.
[0020] The storage unit 12 is a nonvolatile storage unit, such as a semiconductor memory, that stores an OS or programs and data for controlling various functions of the terminal device 1. The storage unit 12 is able to store facility reservation information associated with a reservation made with the use of the terminal device 1.
[0021] The display unit 13 is a liquid crystal display, a plasma display, or the like, that displays characters, images, and the like. The input unit 14 detects details input by a holder of the terminal device 1, and generates an input signal corresponding to the input details. The input signal is input to the control unit 11. The display unit 13 and the input unit 14 may be separated from each other by providing a display and an operation button in the terminal device 1. Alternatively, the display unit 13 and the input unit 14 may be integrated with each other by providing a touch panel in the terminal device 1.

Operation

CLAIMS :
1. A reservation confirmation method characterized by comprising :
detecting whether a terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across a border on the basis of a change of positional information or IP address, detected by the terminal device ( 1 ) ;
at the time when the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across the border, causing the terminal device ( 1) to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device ( 1 ), facility reservation information stored in an external server device (2) and associated with the terminal device ( 1 ), and facility reservation information stored in an external server device (2) and associated with a holder ID of the terminal device ( 1 ); and
when input of final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use the reserved facility has been detected, transmitting the final confirmation information to a management terminal (3) of the facility.
2. The reservation confirmation method according to claim 1, wherein
at the time when the final confirmation information is transmitted to the facility, terminal device information or terminal device holder information is transmitted to the management terminal ( 3).
3. The reservation confirmation method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein only when input of final confirmation information indicating that it is not scheduled to use the reserved facility has been detected, the final confirmation information is transmitted to the management terminal ( 3).
4. The reservation confirmation method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, further comprising :
summarizing the facility reservation information by facility genre, wherein
the terminal device ( 1 ) is caused to display the final confirmation by facility genre.
5. The reservation confirmation method according to claim 4, wherein
the final confirmation is displayed by facility genre in days.
6. The reservation confirmation method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, further comprising :
summarizing the facility reservation information by facility area, wherein
the terminal device ( 1 ) is caused to display the final confirmation by facility area.
7. The reservation confirmation method according to claim 6, wherein
the final confirmation is displayed by facility area in days.
8. The reservation confirmation method according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein
the final confirmation is repeated until the final confirmation information is input.
9. A reservation confirmation method characterized by comprising :
receiving, from a terminal device ( 1 ), whether the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across a border on the basis of a change of positional information or IP address, detected by the terminal device ( 1 );
at the time when the fact that the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across the border has been received, causing the terminal device ( 1 ) to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device ( 1 ), facility reservation information associated with the terminal device ( 1 ), and facility reservation information associated with a holder ID of the terminal device ( 1 ); and
when final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use the reserved facility has been received from the terminal device ( 1 ), transmitting the final confirmation information to a management terminal (3) of the facility.
10. A reservation confirmation method characterized by comprising :
acquiring positional information of a terminal device ( 1 ) from the terminal device ( 1 );
detecting whether the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across a border on the basis of the positional information ;
at the time when the fact that the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across the border has been detected, causing the terminal device ( 1 ) to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device ( 1 ), facility reservation information associated with the terminal device ( 1 ), and facility reservation information associated with a holder ID of the terminal device ( 1); and
when final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use the reserved facility has been received from the terminal device ( 1 ), transmitting the final confirmation information to a management terminal (3) of the facility.
11. The reservation confirmation method according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein
transmission of the final confirmation information is intended for only facility reservation information for a facility that is located in a country across the border.
12. The reservation confirmation method according to any one of claims 1 to 11, further comprising :
transmitting the final confirmation information from the management terminal ( 3) of the facility to a reservation management terminal (3) that holds facility reservation information corresponding to the final confirmation information.
13. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute the reservation confirmation method according to any one of claims 1 to 12.
14. A server device (2) characterized by comprising :
a position change reception unit (21 ) that is configured to receive, from a terminal device ( 1 ), whether the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across a border on the basis of a change of positional information or IP address, detected by the terminal device ( 1 );
a display information transmission unit (22) that is configured to, at the time when the position change reception unit (21 ) has received the fact that the terminal device ( 1 ) has passed across the border, transmit information for causing the terminal device ( 1 ) to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device ( 1 ), facility reservation information associated with the terminal device ( 1 ), and facility reservation information associated with a holder ID of the terminal device ( 1 ) ;
a final confirmation information reception unit (23) that is configured to receive, from the terminal device ( 1), final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use the reserved facility; and
a transmission unit (24) that is configured to, when the final confirmation information reception unit has received the final confirmation information from the terminal device ( 1 ), transmit the final confirmation information to a management terminal (3) of the facility.
15. A server device (2) characterized by comprising :
a position acquisition unit (25) that is configured to acquire positional information of a terminal device ( 1 ) from the terminal device ( 1 ) ;
a detection unit (26) that is configured to detect whether the terminal device ( 1) has passed across a border on the basis of the positional information;
a display information transmission unit (22) that is configured to, at the time when the fact that the terminal device ( 1) has passed across the border has been detected, transmit information for causing the terminal device ( 1 ) to display final confirmation as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use a reserved facility at a predetermined time before a start time of facility reservation information, the facility reservation information being at least one of facility reservation information contained in the terminal device ( 1 ), facility reservation information associated with the terminal device ( 1 ), and facility reservation information associated with a holder ID of the terminal device ( 1 ) ;
a final confirmation information reception unit (23) that is configured to receive, from the terminal device ( 1 ), final confirmation information as to whether the holder of the terminal device ( 1 ) is scheduled to use the reserved facility; and
a transmission unit (24) that is configured to, when the final confirmation information reception unit has received the final confirmation information from the terminal device ( 1 ), transmit the final confirmation information to a management terminal (3) of the facility.
16. The server device according to claim 14 or 15, further comprising :
a summarization unit ( 27) that is configured to summarize the facility reservation information by facility genre, wherein
the summarization unit (27) is configured to cause the terminal device ( 1 ) to display the final confirmation by facility genre.
17. The server device according to claim 14 or 15, further comprising : a summarization unit (27) that is configured to summarize the facility reservation information by facility area, wherein
the summarization unit (27) is configured to cause the terminal device ( 1 ) to display the final confirmation by facility area.
18. The server device according to any one of claims 14 to 17, wherein transmission of the final confirmation information is intended for only the facility reservation information for a facility that is located in a country across the border.
