Abstract

Anti-skid device The subject of the invention is an anti-skid device (1) wherein there are gripping means (2-3, 5-6) on two sides of said anti-skid device (1), the gripping means (2, 5) mounted to the vehicle side are fixed and the gripping means mounted to the outer side are adjustable according to the tire diameter. The anti-skid device is an emergency traction aid, which may be mounted to the rim or tire depending on the condition and which is a perfect alternative for the snow chain owing to its very simple installation. An anti-skid member (12) is alternatively adhered and sandwiched between the tire profiles or is mounted and affixed at the preset locations.

Description

DESCRIPTION
ANTISKID DEVICE
Relevant Technical Field
The present invention relates to the snow chains.
Prior Art
The vehicles use the snow chains in order to prevent the skid on the snowy and slippery grounds, and since it is very difficult to mount these snow chains, they may not be mounted by everyone. The present invention describes an antiskid device, which provides a solution for this situation and which prevents the skid.
Object of the Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide an emergency traction aid, which is able to be very easily mounted by the drivers and which is a perfect alternative for the snow chains.
Description of the Invention
Antiskid device, which is realized to achieve the object of the present invention, is illustrated in the attached drawings in which Figures 1-9 are the schematic views of the principle for mounting the antiskid device according to the invention. The parts in the figures are individually assigned with reference numerals, the designations for which are provided below.
1- Antiskid device
2- Grip 1
3- Grip 2
4- Adjusting collar
5- U grip 1
6- U grip 2
7- Rim 8. a- Hook - Vehicle side
8.b- Hook - Outer side
9- Adjusting Lock
10. a- U Rim - Vehicle side
10.b- U Rim - Outer side
11- Gulap
12- Kaymazce
There are provided the kaymaz (1) according to the invention, tuta 1 (2) and tuta 2 (3) on two sides for mounting said kaymaz (1) to the tire and the hooks (8), which are the locations where said tutas should be attached and which are made on the circumference of the rim (7) where the rim meets the tire during its manufacture.
Figures 5 and 6 schematically illustrate the principle for mounting the kaymaz (1) according to the invention. According to Figure 5, during the mounting of the kaymaz (1), first the tuta 1 (2) is attached to the hook (8. a) on the vehicle side of the rim (7) (Figure 5) and then the tuta 2 (3) is attached to the hook (8.b) on the outer side of the rim (7). The collar (4) on the outer side (Figure 1) is pulled to adjust the same according to the diameter of the tire and is locked (9). According to the tires, the kaymaz (1) may be made in a quantity of one or more than one. Moreover, the kaymaz (1) may be made wider. For example, it may be attached to two hooks (8) on each side of the tire (2) (Figure 6).
The invention has been described with respect to the hook model in order to make the disclosure simple and easy to understand; however, it is also possible to simply make the circumference of the rim (7) in U shape (lO.a-lO.b) (Figure 4). The tutas of the kaymaz may also be in U shape (5-6) so that they may suit and be mounted to these U rims (lO.a-lO.b) (Figure 2). The mounting is performed in the manner described above. (First U tuta 1 (5) is attached to U rim (lO.a) on the vehicle side, then the U tuta 2 (6) is attached to the U rim (lO.b) on the outer side of the vehicle and these are adjusted and fixed.
The 2nd option includes making the gulaps (11) around the outer side and vehicle side of the tires during the manufacture of the same, with respect to the members called as hook (Figure 7). In this case, the kaymaz (1) is mounted to these gulaps (11) around the tires, instead of the rim (7) (Figure 8). (The installation is performed in the same manner as described above).
The 3 rd option includes the member that we call as kaymazce (12) for preventing the skid wherein kaymazce is sandwiched between the profiles on the tires and adhered, or, it is affixed to the positions between the profiles previously made during the manufacture of the tires (Figure 9).

Claims

A kaymaz (1) wherein there are tutas (2-3, 5-6) on two sides of said kaymaz (1), the tutas (2, 5) mounted to the vehicle side of the tire are fixed (2, 5) and the tutas (3, 6) mounted to the outer side are adjustable.
Hooks (8), which are made at the positions in the circumference of the rim (7) where the rim meets the tire, for the installation of the tutas on two sides of the kaymaz (1).
The embodiment wherein, instead of the hooks (8), the entire circumference of the rim (7) is made in U shape (10) in a way to suit the tutas and the tutas (5- 6) are made in U shape so that they may be mounted to the U rims (11) (Figure 2).
The model with a vehicle tire and gulaps (11) made in a way to suit the tutas of the kaymaz around two sides (vehicle side and outer side) of said tire wherein the kaymaz (1) is mounted to said gulaps (11) according to this model (Figure 8).
A kaymazce (12) wherein said kaymazce (12) is made from the durable alloy on the outer side, is made such that the non-skid side and the other side thereof are able to engage between the profiles of the tire, said kaymazce (12) is made in different models and according to said models, its lower part may be adhered and sandwiched between the profiles or it may be mounted and affixed at the locations between the profiles of the tire that are made during the manufacture of the tire in way to suit the kaymazce (12) (Figure 9).
