Abstract

The invention relates to a device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, a system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, a method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, a computer program element for controlling such device or system for performing such method and a computer readable medium having stored such computer program element. The device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room comprises a configuration manager unit and an asset tracking module. The asset tracking module is configured to provide equipment data of a mobile equipment entering the intervention room. The equipment data comprises information that the mobile equipment is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment. The configuration manager unit is configured to receive the equipment data of a mobile equipment and share a configuration parameter with a fixed equipment based on the received equipment data.

Description

Device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, a system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, a method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, a computer program element for controlling such device or system for performing such method and a computer readable medium having stored such computer program element.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In interventional radiology intervention rooms, the need for multimodality image guided interventions is increased and with it the need for interoperability is increasing as well. For example, a fixed interventional X-ray system may require cooperation with a generally mobile ultrasound system. Data streams from the interventional X-ray system and the ultrasound system may be used and fused for a better navigation during the intervention.

However, configuring data interfaces between the interventional X-ray system and the ultrasound system may be cumbersome in general, but in this situation there is an additional problem: while the interventional X-ray system can be in many cases fixed and statically linked to the interventional room, other imaging modalities like the ultrasound system are often implemented on carts that can be moved from an interventional room to another or from a department to another. Because of this, it might be required to reconfigure the data or communication interfaces just prior to an intervention, reducing the efficiency of the workflow and leading to possible mistakes.

WO 2005/062231 A2 discloses a system for use in a hospital comprising a configuration management system and a location system. A current operating mode of medical devices in signal connection with the configuration management system is determined by the configuration management system from predetermined operating settings stored in a memory.

US 2014/121489 Al discloses a portable medical imaging device for performing imaging procedures. The portable medical imaging device comprises a processor configured to analyze location information associated with the portable medical imaging device and determine whether the location information is linked to a location of the performing an imaging procedure. The processor selects an imaging configuration from a plurality of imaging configurations associated with an imaging procedure to be performed in the location, wherein each imaging configuration of the plurality of imaging configurations is associated with a type of imaging procedure. The processor is further configured to load the imaging configuration to perform the imaging procedure.

US 2010/152578 Al discloses that an ultrasound medical imaging system and a non-ultrasound medical imaging system are combined and communicate via a suitable docking port, which is supported by the non-ultrasound medical imaging system and configured to receive the ultrasound medical imaging system. Each can also be configured for cross-imaging in the other modality, displaying medical imagery from the other modality on respective and/or combined displays, and/or control by a user interface of the other and/or a common user interface.

The fact that mobile equipment can be moved in and out of the intervention room can pose serious concerns. As example, very often the communication between different equipment is provided via a LAN (wired or wireless) as this type of connectivity offers flexibility and avoids the need for one to one connections. But this also poses disadvantages and adds overhead to a typical workflow:

the network addresses of equipment that needs to communicate must be known and properly configured. As a consequence, if new mobile equipment is introduced in the intervention room, its communication interface and the communication interfaces of the fixed equipment it needs to be connected to might need to be reconfigured.

If mobile equipment is moved from one intervention room to another or from the interventional room to a diagnostic department, depending on the network topology of the hospital network, the mobile equipment could still be reachable by the fixed equipment in the interventional intervention room in which it was originally placed. In this case, if

configurations are not properly updated it might happen that data is shared between equipment that are not supposed to communicate anymore. This will most likely happen more often when equipment that communicates through the use of wireless technology which is not bound by the physical dimension of an intervention room.

When mobile equipment is moved from one environment to another, e.g. into an intervention room, it might require different settings which are more suitable to the needs of an intervention e.g. enable specific functionality while disabling other non-relevant functionality for that environment. This requires manual configuration changes. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Hence, there may be a need to provide a device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room which allows improving workflow efficiency in a multimodality radiology intervention room.

The problem of the present invention is solved by the subject-matters of the independent claims, wherein further embodiments are incorporated in the dependent claims. It should be noted that the aspects of the invention described in the following apply also to the device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, the system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, the method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, the computer program element, and the computer readable medium.

According to the present invention, a device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room is presented. The device for configuring medical equipment in the intervention room comprises a configuration manager unit and an asset tracking module.

The asset tracking module is configured to provide equipment data of a mobile equipment entering the intervention room. The equipment data comprises information that the mobile equipment is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment.

The configuration manager unit is configured to receive the equipment data of mobile equipment, which is located in an intervention room, from the asset tracking module.

The configuration manager unit is further configured to share a configuration parameter with a fixed equipment based on the received equipment data of the mobile equipment located in the intervention room.

The configuration parameters enable the fixed equipment to reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment to work together.

The fixed equipment may be an X-ray unit fixedly located in the intervention room and the mobile equipment may be a moveable ultrasonic unit as e.g. a cart-based ultrasound unit currently located in the intervention room. The mobile equipment may be anything that comes or that can come on a cart and that can be used in an interventional room and moved from room to room. For example, in the field of electrophysiology, an EP mapping system could be shared between rooms and it might be beneficial to share data between an X-ray system as fixed equipment and the EP mapping system as mobile equipment. In the field of cardiac intervention, equipment like FFR or IVUS units as mobile equipment can be shared among labs. Their data could be fused with an X-ray system as fixed equipment or used for reporting. Also the X-ray system can be a mobile system as mobile equipment that could share data with other devices in the room. In this case, the fixed equipment may be a workstation with a software application. The software application may fuse X-ray data with e.g. ultrasound data and could be seen as fixed equipment (if the workstation is permanently installed in the lab) or as mobile equipment (if installed on a cart). Another example of fixed equipment is a reporting tool.

Exemplarily in other words, the configuration manager unit may receive equipment data of the mobile equipment, wherein the equipment data may comprise location data or availability data of the mobile equipment. The configuration manager unit may receive equipment data about changes in equipment location when, for example, an ultrasound cart enters the intervention room. The location or availability data are provided by the asset tracking module. Asset tracking can be based on RFID, Zigbee, Infrared, Ultrasound or other localization technologies. The equipment data of the fixed equipment may already be known or the configuration manager unit may also receive equipment data of the fixed equipment.

The equipment data may also be a notification that e.g. an ultrasound cart has become available. The equipment data comprises then only the information what equipment is within a certain intervention room. So any system that could identify the presence of equipment in a specific room without any knowledge of what happens in the rest of the building could also serve the purpose. This could be accomplished with various technologies, as e.g. triangulation of wireless connections (e.g. Wifi); RFID patches on the equipment to be tracked and RFID readers within the intervention room, or at the entrance of the intervention room; prior knowledge of network topology, so that the equipment connected to the network can be located; barcodes and barcode readers, so that user can register mobile equipment that enter or leave a intervention room etc..

The configuration manager unit may share a configuration parameter with the fixed equipment and/or the mobile equipment, wherein the configuration parameters may be used to automatically configure communication interfaces of the fixed equipment and/or the mobile equipment in dependence of equipment data of the mobile equipment. The

configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment and/or the mobile equipment to reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment and/or the fixed equipment or to adapt to the mobile and/or fixed equipment. In an example, the required setting is a required imaging setting. In an example, the setting required by the mobile equipment and/or the fixed equipment is based on a procedure setting selected at the mobile equipment and/or the fixed equipment. This means, the reconfiguration may be dependent on the selected procedure setting. For example, the selected procedure setting may be a certain clinical application selected on one of the mobile and/or the fixed equipment and therefore the other of the fixed and/or the mobile equipment is reconfigured to this setting.

In an example, the reconfiguration establishes a communication between the fixed equipment and the mobile equipment. In other words, the fixed equipment and/or the mobile equipment are (each) notified about the other being present. This may trigger a (re)- configuration of the fixed equipment and/or the mobile equipment to match to the

environment or the software application that will be used during the intervention. The selection of the application can be manual, based on user input, automatic based on patient information, selection of procedure etc.

The reconfiguration of the mobile equipment and/or the fixed equipment may comprise a configuration of a communication link by submitting a paring message between at least two of a group comprising the configuration manager unit, the fixed equipment and the mobile equipment. In other words, the configuration manager unit, upon receipt of equipment data as e.g. a notification that an ultrasound cart has become available, may share a configuration parameter to automatically initiate a connection link to it and send a pairing message. In turn, the ultrasound cart may acknowledge the connection and automatically be set up in an adapted, required and/or optimal state for the e.g. C-arm X-ray unit fixedly located in the intervention room.

As a result, a device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room is provided which may allow automatic configuration of equipment in an interventional radiology intervention room based on information about equipment availability of mobile equipment in that specific intervention room. More precisely, the device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room automatically configures communication interfaces of the fixed equipment and maybe additionally of the mobile equipment in that specific intervention room.

Thereby, workflow efficiency is increased, a smooth workflow is provided and an occurrence of mistakes is decreased in a scenario in which multimodality imaging and interoperability have an increasing importance during image guided interventions.

The configuration manager, the mobile equipment and the fixed equipment may be configured to share the configuration parameter with each other. Then the mobile equipment and the fixed equipment can send messages to each other or receive messages from the configuration manager unit e.g. in order to pair equipment for communication and/or to select specific pre-sets or preferences that are suitable for the intervention that is about to happen.

The configuration manager unit can act as master for all configurations and send pairing messages to all equipment in a certain intervention room if a certain application is selected for that intervention room. Otherwise, the system equipment hosts a main application that requires other mobile or fixed equipment to be connected which may act as a master and will send configurations and pairing messages to the other equipment.

In an example, the configuration manager unit is configured to share the configuration parameter with the fixed equipment and the mobile equipment. The

configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment and the mobile equipment to reconfigure simultaneously to match to the setting required by the mobile equipment and the fixed equipment. The simultaneous configuration of the fixed equipment and the mobile equipment means for example that a workstation of an X-ray system is connected to an ultrasound cart and a specific application is made available to a user, while also the ultrasound cart is configured to communicate with the workstation is hosting the application and be set up, for example, with a specific imaging setting optimized for the specific application.

In another example, the configuration manager unit is configured to share the configuration parameter only with the fixed equipment based on the mobile equipment located in the intervention room and the configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment to adapt or reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment. In other words, the configuration manager unit may notify the fixed equipment of the intervention room of what mobile equipment is now present in the intervention room. Then, the configuration manager unit may share a configuration parameter to automatically initiate a connection link to the mobile equipment and send a pairing message. In turn, the mobile equipment may acknowledge the connection and automatically be set up in an adapted, required and/or optimal state for the fixed equipment located in the intervention room.

Exemplarily, the configuration manager unit is configured to share the configuration parameter only with the mobile equipment based on the fixed equipment located in the intervention room and the configuration parameter enables the mobile equipment to adapt to the fixed equipment. In other words, the configuration manager unit may notify the mobile equipment about its (new) location and what other equipment is now present in the intervention room. Based on this information, the mobile equipment can (re)- configure itself to match the settings required by that environment. When a mobile equipment receives a configuration parameter or is notified of a change in its physical location, it can automatically select a configuration that is suitable for the location that it is now in. It could also refuse or give a warning upon configuration parameter or attempts to connect from equipment that is remote with respect to its current location.

In an example, the configuration manager unit is configured to receive a request for a predetermined mobile equipment, to find the predetermined mobile equipment in the equipment data, and to share the configuration parameter with the found predetermined mobile equipment or with a selection unit in order to select one out of at least two found predetermined mobile equipment. In other words, when a fixed or mobile equipment requires a predetermined mobile equipment, it can request that predetermined mobile equipment from the configuration manager unit. The configuration manager unit may find that predetermined mobile equipment in a list of the available equipment in the intervention room. In case only one equipment in the intervention room is suitable as predetermined mobile equipment, the configuration manager unit may share the configuration parameter with the found

predetermined equipment and thereby automatically configure a connection to it and send a pairing message. In case multiple equipment in the intervention room are available as predetermined mobile equipment, the configuration manager unit may prompt a user to select a preferred one. In case no suitable equipment is available in the intervention room, the configuration manager unit may notify a user of the problem or may request a list of suitable equipment available in the building to prompt the user with a suggestion on where a suitable equipment can be found.

Therefore, the configuration manager unit may be further configured to receive equipment data of mobile equipment outside the intervention room, wherein the equipment data comprises location data of mobile equipment, and wherein the configuration manager unit is configured to communicate the location data of the mobile equipment.

In an example, the configuration manager unit is part of the fixed equipment. In another example, the configuration manager unit is part of the mobile equipment. The configuration manager unit may also be a separate device and not integrated with one of the fixed or the mobile equipment. The latter allows more flexibility in connecting and adapting to different equipment.

According to the present invention, also a system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room is presented. The system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room comprises a fixed equipment and the device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room as described above. The device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room comprises a configuration manager unit configured to share a configuration parameter with the fixed equipment.

According to the present invention, also a method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room is presented. It comprises the following steps, not necessarily in this order:

providing equipment data of mobile equipment entering the intervention room, the equipment data comprising information

that the mobile equipment is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment;

sharing a configuration parameter with the fixed equipment based on the received equipment data of the mobile equipment located in the intervention room; and

reconfiguring the fixed equipment to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment by means of the configuration parameter.

According to the present invention, also a computer program element is presented, wherein the computer program element comprises program code means for causing the system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room as defined in the independent claim to carry out the steps of the method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room as defined in the independent claim when the computer program is run on a computer controlling the system for configuring medical equipment in an

intervention room.

It shall be understood that the device for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, the system for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, the method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, the computer program element for controlling such device and the computer readable medium having stored such computer program element according to the independent claims have similar and/or identical preferred embodiments, in particular, as defined in the dependent claims. It shall be understood further that a preferred embodiment of the invention can also be any combination of the dependent claims with the respective independent claim.

These and other aspects of the present invention will become apparent from and be elucidated with reference to the embodiments described hereinafter. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

Fig. 1 shows schematically and exemplarily an embodiment of a system 1 for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room according to the invention. The system 1 for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room comprises a device 10 for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room. The intervention room comprises a set of fixed equipment 12. An example of the fixed equipment 12 is here an X-ray unit fixedly located in the intervention room, or a workstations executing a software application to perform image fusion or other form of guidance for the intervention. The device 10 for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room comprises a configuration manager unit 11 and an asset tracking module 14. The asset tracking module 14 provides equipment data of a mobile equipment 13 entering the intervention room. The equipment data comprise information that the mobile equipment 13 is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment. The configuration manager unit 11, additionally to being aware of the fixed equipment located in the room, receives equipment data of the mobile equipment 13 located in an intervention room. As example, the mobile equipment 13 is here a moveable ultrasonic unit as a cart-based ultrasound unit currently located in the intervention room.

The configuration manager unit 11 shares a configuration parameter with the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 based on the received equipment data of the mobile equipment 13 located in the intervention room. The configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 to reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment 13 the fixed equipments. Thereto, the configuration manager unit 11 receives equipment data of the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile

equipment 13.

The received equipment data of the mobile equipment 13 located in the intervention room may comprise location data or availability data of the mobile equipment 13, data about changes in equipment location of the mobile equipment 13, or a notification that a mobile equipment 13 has become available. The equipment data of the mobile equipment 13 located in the intervention room is here provided by the asset tracking module 14. The equipment data may also comprise location data or availability data of the fixed equipment 12 located in the intervention room.

The configuration parameters enables the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 to adapt to the mobile equipment 13 and the fixed equipment 12. In other words, the configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 to reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment and the fixed equipment to work together. Thereto, the configuration parameter automatically configures communication interfaces of the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 in dependence of equipment data. In other words, the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 are (each) notified about the other being present. This triggers a (re)- configuration of the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13 to match to the environment. In other words, the configuration manager unit 11, the mobile equipment 13 and the fixed equipment 12 share the configuration parameter with each other. The mobile equipment 13 and the fixed equipment 12 send messages to each other and receive messages from the configuration manager unit 11 in order to pair equipment for communication and to select specific pre-sets or preferences that are suitable for the intervention that is about to happen.

The required setting is a required imaging setting.

The reconfiguration to match to the required setting or the adaption between mobile equipment 13 and fixed equipment 12 comprises a configuration of a communication link by submitting a paring message between the configuration manager unit 11 , the fixed equipment 12 and the mobile equipment 13. In other words, the configuration manager unit 11, upon receipt of equipment data as e.g. a notification that an ultrasound cart has become available, shares a configuration parameter to automatically initiate a connection link to it and send a pairing message. In turn, the ultrasound cart acknowledges the connection and automatically be set up in an adapted state for the X-ray unit fixedly located in the intervention room. The reconfiguration as mentioned above could also include selecting specific imaging presets, or SW presets, other type of configurations or the like.

As a result, the device 10 for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room is provided which may allow automatic configuration of all equipment in an interventional radiology intervention room based on information about equipment availability in that specific intervention room. Fig. 2 shows a schematic overview of steps of a method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room. The method comprises the following steps, not necessarily in this order:

In a first step SI, providing by an asset tracking module 14 equipment data of mobile equipment 13 entering the intervention room, the equipment data comprising information that the mobile equipment 13)is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment 13.

In a second step S2, sharing a configuration parameter with the fixed equipment 12 based on the mobile equipment 13 located in the intervention room.

- In a third step S3, reconfiguring the fixed equipment 12 to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment by means of the configuration parameter.

In another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a computer program or a computer program element is provided that is characterized by being adapted to execute the method steps of the method according to one of the preceding embodiments, on an appropriate system.

The computer program element might therefore be stored on a computer unit, which might also be part of an embodiment of the present invention. This computing unit may be adapted to perform or induce a performing of the steps of the method described above. Moreover, it may be adapted to operate the components of the above described apparatus. The computing unit can be adapted to operate automatically and/or to execute the orders of a user. A computer program may be loaded into a working memory of a data processor. The data processor may thus be equipped to carry out the method of the invention.

This exemplary embodiment of the invention covers both, a computer program that right from the beginning uses the invention and a computer program that by means of an up-date turns an existing program into a program that uses the invention.

Further on, the computer program element might be able to provide all necessary steps to fulfil the procedure of an exemplary embodiment of the method as described above.

According to a further exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a computer readable medium, such as a CD-ROM, is presented wherein the computer readable medium has a computer program element stored on it, which computer program element is described by the preceding section.

A computer program may be stored and/or distributed on a suitable medium, such as an optical storage medium or a solid state medium supplied together with or as part of other hardware, but may also be distributed in other forms, such as via the internet or other wired or wireless telecommunication systems.

However, the computer program may also be presented over a network like the World Wide Web and can be downloaded into the working memory of a data processor from such a network. According to a further exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a medium for making a computer program element available for downloading is provided, which computer program element is arranged to perform a method according to one of the previously described embodiments of the invention.

It has to be noted that embodiments of the invention are described with reference to different subject matters. In particular, some embodiments are described with reference to method type claims whereas other embodiments are described with reference to the device type claims. However, a person skilled in the art will gather from the above and the following description that, unless otherwise notified, in addition to any combination of features belonging to one type of subject matter also any combination between features relating to different subject matters is considered to be disclosed with this application.

However, all features can be combined providing synergetic effects that are more than the simple summation of the features.

While the invention has been illustrated and described in detail in the drawings and foregoing description, such illustration and description are to be considered illustrative or exemplary and not restrictive. The invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments. Other variations to the disclosed embodiments can be understood and effected by those skilled in the art in practicing a claimed invention, from a study of the drawings, the disclosure, and the dependent claims.

In the claims, the word "comprising" does not exclude other elements or steps, and the indefinite article "a" or "an" does not exclude a plurality. A single processor or other unit may fulfil the functions of several items re-cited in the claims. The mere fact that certain measures are re-cited in mutually different dependent claims does not indicate that a combination of these measures cannot be used to advantage. Any reference signs in the claims should not be construed as limiting the scope.

Claims

CLAIMS:
1. A device (10) for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, comprising a configuration manager unit (11) and an asset tracking module (14),
wherein the asset tracking module (14) is configured to provide equipment data of a mobile equipment (13), the equipment data comprising information that the mobile equipment (13) is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment (13);
wherein the configuration manager unit (11) is configured to receive the equipment data of mobile equipment (13) from the asset tracking module (14);
wherein the configuration manager unit (11) is configured to share a
configuration parameter with a fixed equipment (12) based on the received equipment data of the mobile equipment (13) located in the intervention room; and
wherein the configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment (12) to reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment (13).
2. Device (10) according to claim 1 , wherein the required setting is a required imaging setting.
3. Device (10) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the setting required by the mobile equipment (13) is based on a procedure setting selected at the mobile equipment (13).
4. Device (10) according one of the preceding claims, wherein the
reconfiguration establishes a communication between the fixed equipment (12) and the mobile equipment (13).
5. Device (10) according one of the preceding claims, wherein the configuration manager unit (1 1) is configured to share the configuration parameter with the fixed
equipment (12) and the mobile equipment (13); and
wherein the configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment (12) and the mobile equipment (13) to reconfigure simultaneously to match to the setting required by the mobile equipment (13) and the fixed equipment (12).
6. Device (10) according one of the claims 1 to 4, wherein the configuration manager unit (11) is configured to share the configuration parameter only with the fixed equipment (12) based on the received equipment data of the mobile equipment (13); and wherein the configuration parameter enables the fixed equipment (12) to reconfigure to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment (13).
7. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the fixed equipment (12) is an X-ray unit fixedly located in the intervention room and the mobile equipment (13) is a moveable ultrasonic unit.
8. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the
configuration manager unit (11) is configured to receive a request for a predetermined mobile equipment (13);
wherein the configuration manager unit (11) is configured to find the predetermined mobile equipment (13) in the equipment data;
wherein the configuration manager unit (11) is configured to share the configuration parameter with the found predetermined mobile equipment (13) or, in case more than one predetermined mobile equipment (13) is found, with a selection unit in order to select one out of at least two found predetermined mobile equipment (13).
9. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the
configuration manager unit (11) is further configured to receive equipment data of mobile equipment (13) outside the intervention room;
wherein the equipment data comprises location data of mobile equipment (13); and
wherein the configuration manager unit (11) is configured to communicate the location data of the mobile equipment (13).
10. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the
configuration manager unit (11) is part of the fixed equipment (12).
11. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the
configuration manager unit (11) is part of the mobile equipment (13).
12. A system (1) for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, comprising:
a device (10) for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room according to one of the preceding claims, and
a fixed equipment (12),
wherein a configuration manager unit (11) of the device (10) is configured to share a configuration parameter with the fixed equipment (12) based on equipment data of mobile equipment (13), which is located in the intervention room.
13. A method for configuring medical equipment in an intervention room, comprising the following steps:
providing equipment data of mobile equipment (13) the equipment data comprising information that the mobile equipment (13) is in the intervention room and availability data of the mobile equipment (13);
sharing a configuration parameter with a fixed equipment (12) based on the received equipment data of the mobile equipment (12) located in the intervention room; and reconfiguring the fixed equipment (12) to match to a setting required by the mobile equipment (13) by means of the configuration parameter.
14. A computer program element for controlling a device (10) or system (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 12, which, when being executed by a processing unit, is adapted to perform the method steps of the preceding claim.
15. A computer readable medium having stored the computer program element of the preceding claim.
