Selon un mode de réalisation, l'invention a trait à une protection pour capteur d'empreintes digitales, qui comprend : un substrat comportant une zone valide et une zone non valide ; une rainure formée sur la zone non valide pour l'agencement d'un capteur d'empreintes digitales ; et une couche décorative disposée sur la zone non valide du substrat, ladite couche décorative incluant une première couche décorative située sur une zone extérieure de la rainure et une seconde couche décorative placée sur une zone intérieure de la rainure, la rainure possédant une surface inférieure ainsi qu'une surface latérale intérieure qui relie la surface inférieure à une surface du substrat, la zone intérieure de la rainure comprenant une zone qui inclut la surface inférieure et la surface latérale intérieure, et la surface latérale intérieure étant formée de manière à être inclinée par rapport à la surface inférieure.
