Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for controlling a headset used for listening to music or making a call using a mobile device, and more specifically, howling and echoing when a call is put on while wearing the headset. and a computer program for performing the same.
- Headsets usually have the form of earphones or headphones, and generally include two speakers and one microphone.
- the user plays music while listening to music on a smartphone while wearing a headset, and when a call comes in, selects a call function and makes a call while wearing a headset.
- the microphone does not work when listening to music, and when the call function is selected, the smartphone stops playing the music and activates the microphone to transmit the user's voice to the call partner. At the same time, the other party's voice is played back through the speaker of the headset to the user.
- the initial headset has a structure in which the microphone 110 is separated from the head 120 as illustrated in FIG. 1 to increase the call sensitivity, and extends around the user's mouth by a separate support.
- Such a structure exhibits a very good performance when making a phone call, but has a problem that it is cumbersome and inconvenient to use in a daily life or a lot of motion. For example, it is not suitable for listening to music while jogging.
- the volume can be minimized and the convenience of wearing can be secured.
- the microphone is located relatively far from the user's mouth, it is difficult to accurately capture only the user's voice. Cause problems.
- the bone conduction type microphone is disposed on the earphone head, but instead of being exposed to the outside, the microphone is in close contact with the ear canal of the user. As a result, only the voice of the user is captured by the bone conduction method and transmitted to the call counterpart while the external noise is blocked.
- European Patent No. 2208367 “Multifunction system and method for integrated hearing and communication with noise cancellation and feedback management,” detects a user's voice using a bone conduction microphone disposed inside the ear canal, and removes noise from external sound.
- European Patent No. 1748678 "Hearing device and method for reducing feedback therein” adopts the form of a kernel-type earphone, but discloses a technique for placing in the earpiece so that the microphone is directly exposed to the ear canal. Accordingly, by arranging the speaker and the microphone so as to be symmetrical with each other, the movement of the sound from the speaker to the microphone can be attenuated to suppress the generation of howling.
- the present invention was developed to solve the above problems of the prior art, and instead of using a bone conduction microphone, by mounting an ECM (electret condenser / capacitor microphone) microphone or MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) microphone on the head In addition, it effectively shields noise from the outside, and captures the user's voice sufficiently, but provides a clean sound to the user by blocking the generation of howling and echo.
- ECM electronic condenser / capacitor microphone
- MEMS Micro Electro Mechanical System
- the present invention is to improve the accuracy of speech recognition by removing the howling and echo of the headset so that only the user's voice signal is correctly received through the microphone.
- a mobile device connected to a headset including a first head having a first speaker unit and a second head having a second speaker unit and a microphone
- the method of canceling howling and echo may include monitoring a sound signal received through the microphone, and when a waveform corresponding to the howling or echo is detected in the received sound signal as a result of the monitoring, a second signal of the headset; It may include blocking the channel applied to the speaker unit.
- the monitoring of the received signal may include monitoring a sound signal from the microphone while applying a sound signal output to the first speaker unit and the second speaker unit.
- the sound signal received from the communication network is applied to the first speaker unit, and the sound signal from the microphone is connected to the communication network. It may include transmitting through.
- the method may further include releasing the blocking of the channel applied to the second speaker unit of the headset when an acoustic signal is not received from the microphone.
- the method may further include applying a sound signal to the first speaker unit and the second speaker unit of the headset when the waveform corresponding to the howling or echo is not detected in the sound signal received from the microphone. have.
- the method includes monitoring a sound signal output from the first speaker unit and the second speaker unit, and howling in the sound signal output from the first speaker unit or the sound signal output from the second speaker unit.
- the method may further include blocking a channel applied to the second speaker unit.
- the method may further include operating the microphone and blocking a channel applied to the second speaker unit when the mobile device is in a call connection state.
- the present invention by providing a method of monitoring how to remove the howling or echo occurs in the headset, it is possible to provide a clear sound quality to the user while sufficiently capturing the user's voice.
- according to the present invention can remove the howling and echo of the headset so that only the user's voice signal is correctly received through the microphone, it is possible to increase the accuracy of speech recognition.
