- FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a display screen displayed on the display unit 14.
- the display area in which data can be displayed on the display unit 14 includes a fixed display area and a scroll display area.
- Display target data D1 to be scrolled in response to a scroll operation is displayed in the scroll display area, and predetermined data D2 is displayed in the fixed display area.
- the display control unit 101 displays a partial range of the display target data D1 as a display screen in the scroll display area, and the operation receiving unit 102 receives a scroll operation from the user.
- the display screen displayed in the scroll display area is scrolled.
- the display control unit 101 determines whether or not an object exists in the data in the range displayed on the display unit 14 in the display target data D1.
- the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14 when the object exists, and displays the scroll bar on the display unit 14 when the object does not exist. Details of the function of the display control unit 101 will be described later.
- the object detection unit 103 has a function of detecting an object included in the display target data D1. Specifically, the object detection unit 103 obtains bitmap data by performing rasterization processing on the display target data D1. Then, the object detection unit 103 analyzes the bitmap data to obtain information (object information) indicating the number of objects and the range of the objects included in the display target data D1.
- FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing the flow of the scroll display operation in the display device 1.
- the object detecting unit 103 When the operation receiving unit 102 receives an instruction to display the display target data D1 (YES in step S10), the object detecting unit 103 has object information indicating the number of objects and the object range included in the display target data D1. It is determined whether or not (step S11).
- the object detection unit 103 analyzes the display target data D1 and generates object information (step S12).
- the object information is stored in the HDD 13 or the object information is transmitted from an external personal computer or the like, that is, when the object information exists (YES in step S11)
- the object detection unit 103 performs the process in step S12. Without processing, the HDD 13 is accessed to obtain object information.
- the object detection unit 103 may store the object information stored in the HDD 13 or the object information transmitted from an external personal computer in a storage unit such as the RAM 12 that can be read at high speed. Good. In this case, the object detection unit 103 accesses the RAM 12 and acquires object information.
- the display control unit 101 specifies a range (display range) to be displayed in the scroll display area in the display target data D1 (step S13).
- the display control unit 101 determines based on the object information acquired by the object detection unit 103 whether or not an object exists within the display range specified in the process of step S13 (step S14).
- step S14 the display control unit 101 causes the display unit 14 to display the display target data D1 in the range specified in step S13 (step S15). At this time, the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14.
- the display control unit 101 causes the display unit 14 to display the display target data D1 in the range specified in step S13 and the scroll bar (step S16).
- step S17 If the operation receiving unit 102 receives a scroll operation after the processing of step S15 or step S16 (YES in step S17), the display control unit 101 causes the display unit 14 to scroll and display (step S18). Return to processing.
- the display control unit 101 causes the display unit 14 to display a scroll bar. Not.
- the operation receiving unit 102 receives a scroll operation from the state illustrated in FIG. 3, the display control unit 101 causes the display unit 14 to perform scroll display.
- the scroll bar is not displayed on the display screen, since the object exists in the display target data D1 within the display range, the user confirms that the position of the object changes due to the scroll display, so that the display screen is displayed. It is possible to know whether scroll display is being performed.
- Scrolling the display screen from the state shown in FIG. 3 results in a display screen as shown in FIG. Also in the example illustrated in FIG. 5, the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14 because an object exists in the display target data D1 within the display range.
- the display control unit 101 displays the scroll bar D3 on the display unit 14. Since the background image portion d0 is composed of single-color image data, the user cannot know whether the display screen is scroll-displayed even if the display screen is confirmed. However, since the scroll bar D3 is displayed on the display unit 14, the user can know whether or not the display screen is scroll-displayed by confirming the scroll bar D3.
- the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14.
- the display control unit 101 When the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14, the display control unit 101 displays the display area on the display unit 14 on which the display target data D1 is displayed, and the display control unit 101 displays the scroll bar D3 on the display unit 14.
- the display is expanded to the display area of the display unit 14 where the scroll bar D3 is displayed. Thereby, by displaying the scroll bar D3, it is possible to avoid a situation in which the display area for displaying the display target data D1 is narrowed only in the area where the scroll bar D3 is displayed.
- the present invention is not limited to the configuration of the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made.
- the display apparatus 1 which illustrated portable terminals, such as a smart phone, as an example of the display apparatus concerning this invention is shown, this invention is not necessarily limited to this case.
- the present invention can be applied to devices having a display unit such as a personal computer and an image forming apparatus in addition to a mobile terminal such as a smartphone.
- the present invention is not necessarily limited to this case.
- the image displayed on the display unit 14 may be scroll-displayed by a swipe operation without using the touch panel function.
- Such operations include, for example, a scroll operation by rotating a wheel button provided on a mouse or the like and a scroll operation by selecting a scroll bar.
- FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing the flow of the scroll display operation in the display device according to the first modification.
- symbol is attached
- the display control unit 101 displays the display content indicated by the display range before scrolling and the content after scrolling. It is determined whether or not the display content indicated by the display range changes (step S20). Specifically, the display control unit 101, when the objects present in the display target data D1 in the range displayed on the display unit 14 as a display screen are objects that are configured by arranging the same objects in the scroll direction Furthermore, it is determined that the display content indicated by the display screen before scrolling and the display content indicated by the display screen after scrolling do not change.
- the object part d8 exists in the display range. Since the object part d8 is an object in which the same figure (object) is arranged in the scroll direction, the display content does not change even if scroll display is performed. That is, the display content indicated by the display range before scrolling and the display content indicated by the display range after scrolling do not change. In this case, since the user cannot confirm that the position of the object changes due to the scroll display, the user cannot know whether the display screen is scroll-displayed.
- display control unit 101 causes display unit 14 to display scroll bar D3 ( Step S16).
- step S20 display control unit 101 does not display scroll bar D3 on display unit 14 ( Step S15).
- the object detection unit 103 not only detects the object included in the display target data D1, but also determines the attribute of the detected object. Specifically, the object detection unit 103 determines whether the detected object is a character object composed of a plurality of characters or an image object including an image.
- the display control unit 101 displays a scroll bar on the display unit 14 when the object exists in the range of data displayed on the display unit 14 and the object is a character object. .
- the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14 when the object exists in the range of data displayed on the display unit 14 and the object is an image object. .
- the display control unit 101 displays the display unit 14 when all the objects of the plurality of objects are character objects. Display the scroll bar. On the other hand, the display control unit 101 does not display the scroll bar on the display unit 14 when at least one image object is included among the plurality of objects.
- the object included in the display range is a character object
- the display screen is scrolled, it may be difficult to notice changes in the character object.
- the display device since the user does not notice the change of the character object, it is possible to avoid a situation where the user misses the scroll display.
