Abstract

An electric motor constituted of: a rotor comprising a plurality of magnets, the rotor arranged to rotate along a rotational orbit; at least one winding, each of the at least one winding arranged to form a plurality of sectionoids and a plurality of connections, wherein each of the plurality of sectionoids is shaped so as to partially enclose the rotor during the rotational orbit, wherein each of the plurality of sectionoids is connected to another of the plurality of sectionoids via a respective one of the plurality of connections, and wherein the connected sectionoids are not in line with each other.
