Description

液晶显示装置 技术领域
本发明涉及显示器制造领域,尤其涉及一种液晶显示装置。
背景技术
随着Iphone6推出了2.5D(Dimension)显示屏后,这个显示屏概念极快的成为了消费者热议的话题之一。2.5D主要是区别于3D而言的,相比传统的2D屏幕,2.5D屏幕大大提升了屏幕和机身整体的视觉效果,同时,因为没有了边缘生硬的棱角,手感也得以提升。
现有的2.5D显示屏,仅仅只能应用于小尺寸显示器上,该类显示器外观上包含一平面区和显示器边缘的弧面区;目前2.5D显示屏的实现方法是在液晶显示屏前方(或触摸屏前方)设置有一层盖板玻璃,该盖板玻璃边缘通过打磨工艺后加工出一圈过渡弧面,使其满足2.5D显示屏特征,但是因为其工艺复杂且对尺寸有限制,增加了产品成本和局限了产品多样化的设计。
现有的此种2.5D显示屏的工艺技术方面相对复杂,在加工过程中,玻璃的打磨工艺会有过度不顺的情况出现,所以良品率上会有一定的损失,因此,其在相比传统的2D显示屏成本方面相对较高;并且,对大尺寸玻璃的打磨良率极低,所以,该技术目前在大尺寸显示屏的应用上不具备量产性,目前2.5D显示屏仅仅只在小尺寸显示器上得到应用,产品多样化的应用存在一定局限性。
发明内容
鉴于现有技术存在的不足,本发明提供了一种产品成本低、可满足显示屏多样化设计的液晶显示装置。
为了实现上述的目的,本发明采用了如下的技术方案:
一种液晶显示装置,包括背光单元、显示面板和第一边框,所述第一边框将所述背光单元和所述显示面板容纳于其中,所述第一边框的至少一个侧壁朝中间延伸形成弧形的延伸部,所述延伸部的自由端与所述显示面板的侧壁相对 设置。
其中,所述显示面板上表面与所述延伸部上表面平齐。
其中,所述显示面板下表面粘贴于设于所述背光单元上。
其中,所述延伸部的上表面形成有一层高光油。
其中,所述显示面板的OLB区域与所述第一边框相对设置,且所述OLB区域与所述延伸部的下表面之间、所述延伸部自由端端面与所述显示面板之间填充有柔性遮光胶。
其中,所述背光单元包括光学膜片、导光板、反射片、背板和第二边框,所述第二边框包括顶面的顶板和侧面的侧板,所述显示面板粘贴于所述顶板的上表面。
其中,所述第二边框的所述顶板和所述侧板分别设有第一凹槽和第二凹槽;所述背板包括设有多个凸出的弹性卡勾的竖直板,所述竖直板上端插设于所述第一凹槽内且所述弹性卡勾嵌入所述第二凹槽内。
其中,所述背板还包括与所述竖直板一体设置的水平板,所述光学膜片、所述导光板和所述反射片依次堆叠于所述水平板上,所述水平板紧贴所述第一边框的底面。
本发明将显示面板设于第一边框内,在第一边框的至少一个侧壁朝中间延伸形成弧形的延伸部,使得显示面板与第一边框可平滑过渡。本发明的液晶显示装置取消了盖板玻璃的设置,省去了盖板玻璃复杂的打磨工艺,打破了2.5D显示屏只能在小尺寸显示器上应用的局限性,降低了生产成本的同时,大大提高了显示屏的适用范围。

具体实施方式
为了使本发明的目的、技术方案及优点更加清楚明白,以下结合附图及实施例,对本发明进一步详细说明。应当理解,此处所描述的具体实施例仅仅用以解释本发明,并不用于限定本发明。
参阅图1,本发明的液晶显示装置包括背光单元10、显示面板20和第一边框30,第一边框30即修饰边框,具体为与显示装置的侧面一体形成的框体。第一边框30将背光单元10和显示面板20容纳于其中,第一边框30的至少一个侧壁朝中间延伸形成弧形的延伸部31,延伸部31的自由端与显示面板20的侧壁相对设置。该弧形的延伸部31可通过普通的模具成型或机械加工制成,加工成本低,易实现。
本发明实施例无需额外通过打磨工艺设计制作2.5D显示屏所需的具有弧面的盖板玻璃,只需在第一边框30上表面进行设计形成弧形的延伸部31,即可利用普通的平面显示面板实现2.5D显示效果,减少了零件成本及复杂的工艺流程,更有利于产品的薄形化设计。
显示面板20上表面与延伸部31上表面平齐,因而显示面板20与修饰边框的过渡更为顺滑;延伸部31的上表面形成有一层高光油,如UV光油,该高光油可通过喷涂、印刷或涂布等工艺设置在延伸部31的上表面,可使其产生近似于液晶显示屏材质本身的光泽,令其2.5D显示特征更为生动。
具体地,显示面板20下表面粘贴于设于背光单元10上。其中,显示面板20的OLB(Outer Lead Bonding,外引脚结合技术)区域20S与第一边框30相对设置,显示面板20制造过程中,利用具有粘贴性﹑内部含有导电小球且小球间绝缘的ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film,异向导电膜)将液晶面板和COF(Chip On Film,一种驱动IC)进行结合。该OLB区域20S与延伸部31的下表面之间、延伸部31自由端端面与显示面板20之间填充有柔性遮光胶40。
背光单元10包括光学膜片50、导光板60、反射片70、背板80和第二边框90,第二边框90包括顶面的顶板91和侧面的侧板92,显示面板20粘贴于顶板91的上表面。
背板80通过弹性卡勾81a卡合的方式安装到第二边框90即显示装置的胶框上,具体是在第二边框90的顶板91和侧板92分别设有第一凹槽93和第二凹槽94;背板80包括设有多个凸出的弹性卡勾81a的竖直板81,竖直板81上端插设于第一凹槽93内且弹性卡勾81a嵌入第二凹槽94内。背板80还包括与竖直板81一体设置的水平板82,光学膜片50、导光板60和反射片70依次堆叠于水平板82上,水平板82紧贴第一边框30的底面。
结合图2所示,显示面板20包括显示区域V和显示区域旁的非显示区域U,显示装置的组装时,在安装该修饰框之前,在OLB区域20S设置有一圈柔性遮 光胶40,然后再组装延伸部31,利用延伸部31挤压柔性遮光胶40,使其顺着延伸部31自由端的形状和组装方向流动并填充满该延伸部31与显示面板20之间的间隙,该柔性遮光胶40固化后即可实现对该间隙的填充,并实现显示面板20所在外观面的平滑过渡,实现2.5D的显示效果。
本发明将显示面板设于第一边框30内,在第一边框30的至少一个侧壁朝中间延伸形成弧形的延伸部31,使得显示面板20与第一边框30可平滑过渡。OLB区域20S与延伸部31的下表面之间、延伸部31自由端端面与显示面板20之间填充有柔性遮光胶40。本发明的液晶显示装置取消了现有2.5D显示装置中的盖板玻璃的设置,省去了盖板玻璃复杂的打磨工艺,打破了2.5D显示屏只能在小尺寸显示器上应用的局限性,降低了生产成本的同时,大大提高了显示屏的适用范围。

Claims (20)

  1. 一种液晶显示装置,其中,包括背光单元、显示面板和第一边框,所述第一边框将所述背光单元和所述显示面板容纳于其中,所述第一边框的至少一个侧壁朝中间延伸形成弧形的延伸部,所述延伸部的自由端与所述显示面板的侧壁相对设置。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述显示面板上表面与所述延伸部上表面平齐。
  3. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述显示面板下表面粘贴于设于所述背光单元上。
  4. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述延伸部的上表面形成有一层高光油。
  5. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述显示面板的OLB区域与所述第一边框相对设置,且所述OLB区域与所述延伸部的下表面之间、所述延伸部自由端端面与所述显示面板之间填充有柔性遮光胶。
  6. 根据权利要求5所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背光单元包括光学膜片、导光板、反射片、背板和第二边框,所述第二边框包括顶面的顶板和侧面的侧板,所述显示面板粘贴于所述顶板的上表面。
  7. 根据权利要求6所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述第二边框的所述顶板和所述侧板分别设有第一凹槽和第二凹槽;所述背板包括设有多个凸出的弹性卡勾的竖直板,所述竖直板上端插设于所述第一凹槽内且所述弹性卡勾嵌入所述第二凹槽内。
  8. 根据权利要求6所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背板还包括与所述竖直板一体设置的水平板,所述光学膜片、所述导光板和所述反射片依次堆叠于所述水平板上,所述水平板紧贴所述第一边框的底面。
  9. 根据权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述显示面板的OLB区域与所述第一边框相对设置,且所述OLB区域与所述延伸部的下表面之间、所述延伸部自由端端面与所述显示面板之间填充有柔性遮光胶。
  10. 根据权利要求9所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背光单元包括光学膜片、导光板、反射片、背板和第二边框,所述第二边框包括顶面的顶板和侧 面的侧板,所述显示面板粘贴于所述顶板的上表面。
  11. 根据权利要求10所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述第二边框的所述顶板和所述侧板分别设有第一凹槽和第二凹槽;所述背板包括设有多个凸出的弹性卡勾的竖直板,所述竖直板上端插设于所述第一凹槽内且所述弹性卡勾嵌入所述第二凹槽内。
  12. 根据权利要求10所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背板还包括与所述竖直板一体设置的水平板,所述光学膜片、所述导光板和所述反射片依次堆叠于所述水平板上,所述水平板紧贴所述第一边框的底面。
  13. 根据权利要求3所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述显示面板的OLB区域与所述第一边框相对设置,且所述OLB区域与所述延伸部的下表面之间、所述延伸部自由端端面与所述显示面板之间填充有柔性遮光胶。
  14. 根据权利要求13所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背光单元包括光学膜片、导光板、反射片、背板和第二边框,所述第二边框包括顶面的顶板和侧面的侧板,所述显示面板粘贴于所述顶板的上表面。
  15. 根据权利要求14所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述第二边框的所述顶板和所述侧板分别设有第一凹槽和第二凹槽;所述背板包括设有多个凸出的弹性卡勾的竖直板,所述竖直板上端插设于所述第一凹槽内且所述弹性卡勾嵌入所述第二凹槽内。
  16. 根据权利要求14所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背板还包括与所述竖直板一体设置的水平板,所述光学膜片、所述导光板和所述反射片依次堆叠于所述水平板上,所述水平板紧贴所述第一边框的底面。
  17. 根据权利要求4所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述显示面板的OLB区域与所述第一边框相对设置,且所述OLB区域与所述延伸部的下表面之间、所述延伸部自由端端面与所述显示面板之间填充有柔性遮光胶。
  18. 根据权利要求17所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背光单元包括光学膜片、导光板、反射片、背板和第二边框,所述第二边框包括顶面的顶板和侧面的侧板,所述显示面板粘贴于所述顶板的上表面。
  19. 根据权利要求18所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述第二边框的所述顶板和所述侧板分别设有第一凹槽和第二凹槽;所述背板包括设有多个凸出的弹性卡勾的竖直板,所述竖直板上端插设于所述第一凹槽内且所述弹性卡勾嵌入 所述第二凹槽内。
  20. 根据权利要求18所述的液晶显示装置,其中,所述背板还包括与所述竖直板一体设置的水平板,所述光学膜片、所述导光板和所述反射片依次堆叠于所述水平板上,所述水平板紧贴所述第一边框的底面。
