Abstract
The invention relates to a clutch device for a motor vehicle, comprising an inner ring (1) and an outer ring (2) and at least two lamella plates (3a, 3b) radially arranged between the inner ring (1) and the outer ring (2), an axial force being applicable to the at least two lamella plates (3a, 3b) to produce a friction torque on their end faces facing each other, which friction torque enables a torque to be transmitted between the inner ring (1) and the outer ring (2). According to the invention, the at least one first lamella plate (3a) is interlockingly connected to the outer ring (2) and the at least one second lamella plate (3b) is interlockingly connected to the inner ring (1), the end faces of the at least one first lamella plate (3a) undergoing a rotation relative to the outer ring (2) due to the friction torque produced, thereby resulting in a radial constriction of the at least one first lamella plate (3a) so that an inner circumferential surface of the at least one first lamella plate (3a) comes to rest on an outer circumferential surface of the inner ring (1) in order to produce an additional friction torque for transmitting the torque between the inner ring (1) and the outer ring (2).
