Abstract

A panelized roofing system adapted to be mounted on top of the wall of a housing unit that includes a predetermined length of a roof frame, an insulation secured on top of said roof frame, and a roofing secured on top of said insulation adapted to be conveniently mounted on top a housing unit that that allows for quicker and easier installation, saving on time and labor costs. There is no need for the existing framing system that is installed prior to the roof that is difficult to install, expensive and time consuming.

PANELIZED ROOFING SYSTEM
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This utility model relates generally to roofing system and, more particularly to a panelized roofing system.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
There are many existing different types of roofing system that utilizes a framing system for its installation nowadays, and each of them exhibits different technical features adapted for its convenient use. However, though they are found to be useful from some point of view, experience dictates that it takes a long time for its installation due to its complicated structures and costly as well.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, it is the principal object of subject invention is to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks by providing for a panelized roofing system that is pre-fabricated consisting of a roofing, an insulation and a roof frame adapted to be conveniently mounted on top a housing unit that that allows for quicker and easier installation, saving on time and labor costs. There is no need for the existing framing system that is installed prior to the roof that is difficult to install, expensive and time consuming.
Another object of this invention is to provide for panelized roofing system that utilizes conventional roofing panels.
Still another object of this invention is to provide for a panelized roofing system having a roof frame made of galvanized steel. Yet, another object of this invention is to provide for panelized roofing system that could be manufactured locally at a reasonable cost.
Other objects and advantages of subject invention will be apparent upon reading the following description, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Referring now to the drawings in detail, wherein like numerals designate same parts throughout, there, is shown in the drawings particularly in FIGS 1 - 3, my invention of a panelized roofing system generally designated as 10 adapted to be mounted to a housing member H, which includes a predetermined length of a roof frame 1 1 , an insulation 12 secured on top of said roofing frame 1 1 , and a roofing 13 secured on top of said insulation 12.
As shown in FIG. 2, this roof frame 1 1 that is preferably made of galvanized steel material has a horizontal brace 14 connected perpendicularly to its vertical braces 15. Mounted on top of this roof frame 1 1 is the insulation 1 2 by means of a preferred mounting means such as a screw (not shown) .
The roofing 1 3 is defined by a conventional roofing sheet that is mounted on top of said insulation 1 2 also by means preferred mounting means such as a screw (not shown) .
In use, this prefab panelized roofing system 1 0 is mounted†o a prefab housing member H having a window W and a door D as shown in FIG.3. This is done by mounting the predetermined length of the panelized roofing system 10 to the wall 1 6 of the housing member H. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a hold down straps 1 7 and 18 are oppositely secured on top of said wall 1 6 and said
panelized roofing system 1 0 by means of flat head screws 1 9,20 and steel tekscrews 21 ,22, respectively. Then the opposite panelized roofing system 1 0A follows as shown in FIG. 3 in the same manner as aforestated described.
Angular top and bottom plate connectors 23 24 are used to connect the upper ends of said panelized roofing system 1 0 and 10A by means of opposed screws 25,26 respectively. Then, a collar plate 27 is mounted for covering this connection.
Mounted at the other ends of said panelized roofing system 1 0, 1 OA are false facia 28 and 29 as shown in FIGS. 4 and 9, to where a downspout 30, 31 respectively is connected.
This panelized roofing system has a size of 6m. as required in most homes. But sizes up to 1 2m, long, can be produced making this roof frame 1 1 thicker to 1 .2mm. to support the whole length.

Claims

I CLAIM:
} . A panelized roofing system adapted to be mounted on top of the wall of a housing unit comprising:
a predetermined length of a roof frame, an insulation secured on top of said roof frame, and a roofing secured on top of said insulation.
2. A panelized roofing system in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said roof frame is preferably made of galvanized steel.
3. A panelized roofing system in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said roofing is a conventional roofing sheet.
4. A panelized roofing system in accordance with claim 1 , wherein on top of said housing unit are provided with opposed panelized roofing system connected thereon with angular plate connectors.
5. A panelized roofing system in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said roof frame has a horizontal brace connected perpendicularly to its vertical braces.
