Abstract

The present invention relates to a waste collection bin (1) comprising a lid (2) for opening and closing the bin (1), a door (3) for removing the waste (10) from the bin (1), at least one RFID label reader (4) for reading the waste (10) collected by the bin (1), means for sending (5) the data read by the RFID label reader (4) to a server (6), a device for detecting (7) the position of the lid (2) for opening and closing the bin (1) and a device for activating/deactivating (9) the RFID label reader (4), which can be activated when the device for detecting (7) the position of the lid (2) detects that said lid (2) is closed and waste collection has concluded.

Description

CONTAINER WASTE COLLECTION

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a container for collecting waste having a low energy consumption because only once is performed reading waste collected by the container by the RFID tag reader and sending information to the server and, moreover, has a high safety since it can not be removed residues thereof until not closed lid opening and closing the container and has performed reading and sending information to server.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Currently hospitals are trying to implement processes and solutions that enable them to monitor and manage costs in the surgical block. Usually the material costs are prorated by the number of interventions, extracting an average really gives little information about where errors or possible optimizations occur.

Other more advanced hospitals laborious and bureaucratic processes impose labeling to identify the costs of each intervention, based on bar codes. Reetiquetan all products entering a hospital label removable type and for each product in the operating room using detach the label material and engage in a sheet intervention. Later this sheet is managed by the supervisory linking barcode sheet (patient, intervention, etc.) to the barcodes of products consumed.

The waste collection container of the present invention overcomes all the above drawbacks.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a waste collection container comprising:

• a lid opening and closing the container for insertion of waste, · a door removal of waste from the container once the waste collection,

• at least one RFID tag reader that allows to carry out the reading of the waste collected by the container, wherein each of the residues having an RFID tag, and

· Means of communication of data read by the RFID tag reader to a server.

The waste collection container further comprises a device for detecting the position of the cover opening and closing of the container, and optionally a locking / unlocking the door opening removal of waste paper.

The waste collection container further comprising a device enable / disable RFID reader activatable labels when the detection device detects the top position of said lid is closed and has completed the collection of waste.

Optionally, the waste removal door is unlockable by of the locking / unlocking once the RFID reader finishes reading the waste collected by the paper.

Thus, the collection container waste of the present invention has a low energy consumption because only once is performed reading waste collected by the container by the RFID reader and send information to server, moreover, has a high safety since it can not be removed residues thereof until not closed the lid opening and closing the container and has performed reading and sending information to the server. Preferably the waste collection container of the present invention is a collection container for medical waste, medical waste from more preferably an operating room.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a container (1) for collecting waste (10) for receiving medical material, in particular waste reception (10) medical from an operating theater comprising: • a lid (2) opening and closing the container (1) for insertion of waste (10),

• a door (3) removal of waste (10) of the container (1) once the waste collection (10)

The container (1) for collecting waste (10) further comprises a detection device (7) of the position of the cover (2) opening and closing the container, and a locking / unlocking (8) of the opening door (3) waste removal (10) of the container (1). This locking / unlocking means (8) of the door opening (3) waste removal (10) of the container (1) may be an electromechanical device such as an electromagnet, a switch, or similar devices.

The container (1) for collecting waste (10) further comprises a device on / off (9) of the RFID reader (4), activable when the detection device (7) of the position of the cover (2) detects that said cap (2) is closed and has completed the collection of waste (10).

The door (3) removal of waste (10) is desbloqueare by the locking / unlocking (8) once the device on / off (9) of the RFID reader (4) is deactivated upon reading of waste (10) collected by the container (1).

The container (1) for waste collection (10) further comprises a removable support (1 1) with a bag (12) where stored waste (10).

Claims

What is claimed
1. Container (1) for collecting waste (10) comprising:
• a lid (2) opening and closing the container (1) for insertion of waste (10),
• a door (3) removal of waste (10) of the container (1) once the waste collection (10)
• at least one RFID reader (4) tags allows to perform reading of waste (10) collected by the container (1), where each of the residues (10) has an RFID tag,
• a media (5) of the data read by the RFID reader (4) tags to a server (6),
• a detection device (7) of the position of the cover (2) opening and closing the container,
· A device on / off (9) of the RFID reader (4), activable when the detection device (7) of the position of the cover (2) detects that said cap (2) is closed and ended waste collection (10), and
• a device for locking / unlocking (8) of the door opening (3) waste removal (10) of the container (1),
characterized in that the door (3) removal of waste (10) is unlockable by the locking / unlocking (8) once the reader RFID tag (4) ends reading of waste (10) collected by the container (1).
2. Container (1) for collecting waste (10) according to claim 1 characterized in that the locking / unlocking (8) of the door opening (3) waste removal (10) of the container (1) it is an electromechanical device.
3. Container (1) for collecting waste (10) according to claim 2 wherein the electromechanical locking / unlocking means (8) of the door opening (3) waste removal (10) of the container (1 ) is an electromagnet.
4. Container (1) for collecting waste (10) according to claim 2 wherein the electromechanical locking / unlocking means (8) of the door opening (3) waste removal (10) of the container (1 ) is a switch.
5. Container (1) for waste collection (10) of any of the preceding claims characterized by comprising a removable support (11) with a bag (12) where stored waste (10).
6. Container (1) for waste collection (10) of any of the preceding claims wherein the residues (10) are medical waste.
