 ところで、基板に部品を実装するなどの対基板作業装置では、例えば、実装ヘッドなど、配線や配管が接続され、所定の可動範囲で移動する可動部を有する。このような可動部に接続される配線や配管などは、可動部の移動により可動範囲からはみ出すことがあった。特許文献1の装置では、内部空間にケーブルを配置するものであるが、内部空間以外でのケーブルの配置については考慮されておらず、装置のコンパクト化を図ることが求められていた。
 本発明は、このような課題に鑑みなされたものであり、よりコンパクト化を図ることができる対基板作業装置を提供することを主目的とする。

 この装置では、可動部の移動によっても第1接続部材と第2接続部材とが可動範囲外に出ないため、装置のコンパクト化をより図ることができる。また、第1接続部材と第2接続部材など複数の接続部材を用いることができる。ここで、第1接続部材と第2接続部材とは、それぞれ用途が同じであってもよいし異なっていてもよく、それぞれ材質が同じであってもよいし異なっていてもよい。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記第1接続部材は、前記第1配設部側に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第1引出部を有し、前記第2接続部材は、前記第2配設部側に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第2引出部を有するものとしてもよい。こうすれば、例えば、可動部が第1端又は第2端側に配置されても、第1及び第2接続部材は、その屈曲した部分などが可動範囲外に突出しにくい。ここで、「配設部側に向かって」とは、配設部が形成されている方に引出部が向いている趣旨である。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記第1接続部材は、前記可動部の移動方向に対して垂直方向に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第1引出部を有し、前記第2接続部材は、前記可動部の移動方向に対して垂直方向に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第2引出部を有するものとしてもよい。こうすれば、例えば、可動部が第1端又は第2端側に配置されても、第1及び第2接続部材は、その屈曲した部分などが可動範囲外に突出しにくい。なお、「垂直」とは、おおよそ垂直であればよく、例えば、引出部は、可動部の移動方向に対して80°~100°の間の角度としてもよい。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記第1接続部材及び前記第2接続部材は、前記可動範囲内で前記可動部が移動する際のいずれかの位置において、2以上の屈曲部が形成されるものとしてもよい。こうすれば、第1及び第2接続部材は、2以上屈曲することにより、可動部の可動範囲から突出しにくい。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記第1接続部材は、前記可動範囲内で前記可動部が移動する際に前記第1端側に屈曲し、前記第2接続部材は、前記可動範囲内で前記可動部が移動する際に前記第2端側に屈曲するものとしてもよい。こうすれば、第1接続部材と第2接続部材とが別方向に屈曲するため、これらの部材同士の干渉などをより抑制した状態で装置のコンパクト化を図ることができる。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記第1配設部及び前記第2配設部は、前記可動範囲の第1端と第2端との間の中央領域に配設されているものとしてもよい。こうすれば、可動部を可動範囲内で移動しやすい。
 本発明の対基板作業装置は、前記第1配設部及び前記第2配設部が設けられ、前記可動部を前記可動範囲内で移動可能に支持する支持部材、を備え、前記第1接続部材は、前記支持部材に対して、前記第1配設部側が固定端であり前記可動部側が可動端であり、前記第2接続部材は、前記支持部材に対して、前記第2配設部側が固定端であり前記可動部側が可動端であるものとしてもよい。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記第1接続部材は、エアー配管であり、前記第2接続部材は、電気配線であるものとしてもよい。こうすれば、エアー配管と電気配線とを別々の接続部材としたうえで、装置のコンパクト化を図ることができる。
 本発明の対基板作業装置において、前記可動部は、部品を前記基板に実装する実装ヘッドが配設されているものとしてもよい。こうすれば、実装ヘッドを備えた実装装置のコンパクト化をより図ることができる。

 本発明の好適な実施形態を図面を参照しながら以下に説明する。図1は、実装システム10の概略説明図である。図2は、実装装置12の概要の説明図である。図3は、接続部材支持機構18の斜視図である。図4は、接続部材支持機構18の平面図である。図5は、実装装置12の接続関係を表すブロック図である。本実施形態の実装システム10は、LAN11に接続され部品P(図2参照)を基板Sに実装処理する実装装置12と、LAN11に接続され実装処理に関する情報(例えば生産ジョブデータ)の管理を行う管理コンピュータ80とを備えている。なお、本実施形態において、左右方向(X軸)、前後方向(Y軸)及び上下方向(Z軸)は、図1~4に示した通りとする。また、実装処理とは、部品Pを基板S上に配置、装着、挿入、接合、接着する処理などを含む。
 実装装置12は、基板Sを搬送する基板搬送ユニット14と、装置で用いる正圧及び負圧を各ユニットへ付与する圧力付与ユニット15と、部品Pを吸着(採取)し基板S上へ配置する実装ユニット16と、部品Pを供給する部品供給ユニット17と、装置全体を制御する制御装置70とを備えている(図5参照)。また、実装装置12は、接続部材支持機構18を備えている。基板搬送ユニット14は、図2に示すように、前後一対のコンベアベルトにより基板SをX軸方向へ搬送する。部品供給ユニット17は、部品Pを収容しているテープを巻いたリールと、リールから巻きほどかれたテープを送り出すフィーダ部とを備えている。
 圧力付与ユニット15は、装置の動作に要する負圧及び正圧を供給するユニットである。この圧力付与ユニット15は、真空ポンプ22と、電磁弁23と、吸気口24と、エアー配管40aとを備えている。エアー配管40aは、電磁弁23を介して真空ポンプ22及び吸気口24のいずれか一方に接続される。圧力付与ユニット15は、真空ポンプ22と連通するように電磁弁23が操作されるとエアー配管40aに負圧が付与され、吸気口24と連通するように電磁弁23が操作されるとエアー配管40aに正圧が付与される。エアー配管40aの先には、吸着ノズル21が接続されている。吸着ノズル21は、エアー配管40aからの圧力を利用して、ノズル先端に部品Pを吸着したり、ノズル先端に吸着している部品Pを放したりするものである。
 実装ユニット16は、実装ヘッド20と、X軸スライダ26と、Y軸スライダ28とを備えている。X軸スライダ26は、前後方向にスライド可能なY軸スライダ28の前面に、左右方向にスライド可能となるように取り付けられている。Y軸スライダ28は、前後方向に延びる左右一対のガイドレール29にスライド可能に取り付けられている。Y軸スライダ28の前面には、左右方向に延びる上下一対のガイドレール27が設けられ、このガイドレール17にX軸スライダ26が左右方向にスライド可能に取り付けられている。実装ヘッド20は、X軸スライダ26が左右方向に移動するのに伴って左右方向に移動し、Y軸スライダ28が前後方向に移動するのに伴って前後方向に移動する。なお、各スライダ26,28は、それぞれ図示しない駆動モータにより駆動される。実装ヘッド20は、X軸スライダ26の前面に可動部35を介して取り付けられている。実装ヘッド20は、部品Pを吸着する吸着ノズル21を複数装着している。吸着ノズル21は、図示しないZ軸モータにより昇降される。
 接続部材支持機構18は、Y軸スライダ28の下面側に配設されている。この接続部材支持機構18は、実装ヘッド20がX軸方向へ移動可能な状態で、実装ヘッド20に接続されるエアー配管40及び電気配線45を引き回す機構である。接続部材支持機構18は、図3、4に示すように、支持部材30、第1配設部31、第2配設部32、可動部35、第1接続部材としてのエアー配管40、第2接続部材としての電気配線45などを備えている。
 支持部材30は、側方に立壁部30aを有する板状体であり、その前方で可動部35を移動可能に支持すると共に、可動部35の移動に伴いエアー配管40及び電気配線45をその上面30bで摺動させる部材である。なお、支持部材30は、可動部35を直接支持してもよいし、スライダなど他の部材を介して支持してもよい。 支持部材30には、可動部35の可動範囲A(図4参照)の第1端A1と第2端A2との間の中央領域Cに、第1配設部31及び第2配設部32が配設されている。第1配設部31は、圧力付与の中継部材であり、本体側からエアー配管40aが接続されており、可動部35側へエアー配管40が接続されている。第2配設部32は、電力供給の中継部材であり、本体側から図示しない電気配線が接続されており、可動部35側へ電気配線45が接続されている。なお、本体と第1配設部31との配管接続と、本体と第2配設部32との配線接続とは、接続部材支持機構18と同様の機構を有するものとしてもよい。
 可動部35は、前面側に配設面35aを有する板状部材であり、この配設面35aに部品Pを基板Sに実装する実装ヘッド20が配設される。可動部35は、第1端A1と第2端A2との間の可動範囲A(図4参照)の範囲内で移動する。可動部35の後部には、エアー配管40の第1引出部44及び電気配線45の第2引出部49を固定する固定部材36が配設されている(図3)。この固定部材36は、上板、下板及びこれらを繋ぐ側板を有し、支持部材30の後部側(第1配設部31及び第2配設部32側)且つ水平方向に向かうよう第1引出部44及び第2引出部49を固定する。
 エアー配管40は、実装ヘッド20が備える吸着ノズル21や図示しないエアシリンダなどへ負圧を供給する配管である。エアー配管40は、内部に複数の耐圧配管を有し、この複数の配管が柔軟性を有する樹脂により被覆された部材である。エアー配管40は、例えば、ウレタン樹脂で形成されていてもよい。エアー配管40は、可動部35に設けられた第1接続部33と、支持部材30に設けられた第1配設部31とに接続され、可動部35の移動によっても第1端A1側及び第2端A2側で可動範囲Aより外に出ることなく配設されている。エアー配管40は、支持部材30の上面30bの上を水平に摺動する水平部41と、第1接続部33への接続のため鉛直下方に向けて形成される垂直部42とを有している。また、エアー配管40は、第1配設部31側(装置後方側)に向かって可動部35から引き出された第1引出部44を有している。この第1引出部44は、可動部35の移動方向に対して垂直方向に向かって可動部35から引き出されている。なお、「垂直」とは、おおよそ垂直であればよい。例えば、第1引出部44及び第2引出部49は、可動部35の移動方向に対して80°~100°の間の角度としてもよい(以下同じ)。このエアー配管40は、可動範囲Aの範囲内で可動部35が移動する際のいずれかの位置において、2以上の屈曲部43が形成される。なお、この接続部材支持機構18では、可動部35がいずれの位置においてもエアー配管40に複数の屈曲部43が形成される。また、エアー配管40は、可動部35が移動する可動範囲Aの範囲内で、その第1配設部31への接続部分が、主として第1端A1側に屈曲している。エアー配管40は、支持部材30に対して、第1配設部31側が固定端であり可動部35側が可動端である。
 電気配線45は、実装ヘッド20が備えるモータなどの駆動電力を本体側から供給すると共に、制御信号などを伝達する配線である。電気配線45は、内部に複数の配線を有し、この複数の配線が柔軟性を有する樹脂により被覆された部材である。電気配線45は、エアー配管40と柔軟性などの特性が異なる材質、例えば、塩化ビニル樹脂で形成されていてもよい。電気配線45は、可動部35に設けられた第2接続部34と、支持部材30に設けられた第2配設部32とに接続され、可動部35の移動によっても第1端A1側及び第2端A2側で可動範囲Aより外に出ることなく配設されている。電気配線45は、支持部材30の上面30bの上を水平に摺動する水平部46と、第2接続部34への接続のため鉛直下方に向けて形成される垂直部47とを有している。また、電気配線45は、第2配設部32側(装置後方側)に向かって可動部35から引き出された第2引出部49を有している。この第2引出部49は、可動部35の移動方向に対して垂直方向に向かって可動部35から引き出されている。この電気配線45は、可動範囲Aの範囲内で可動部35が移動する際のいずれかの位置において、2以上の屈曲部48が形成される。なお、この接続部材支持機構18では、可動部35がいずれの位置においても電気配線45に複数の屈曲部43が形成される。また、電気配線45は、可動部35が移動する可動範囲Aの範囲内で、その第2配設部32への接続部分が、主として第2端A2側に屈曲している。電気配線45は、支持部材30に対して、第2配設部32側が固定端であり可動部35側が可動端である。
 制御装置70は、図5に示すように、CPU71を中心とするマイクロプロセッサとして構成されており、処理プログラムを記憶するROM72、各種データを記憶するHDD73、作業領域として用いられるRAM74、外部装置と電気信号のやり取りを行う入出力インタフェース75などを備えており、これらはバスを介して接続されている。この制御装置70は、基板搬送ユニット14、圧力付与ユニット15、実装ユニット16、部品供給ユニット17などと双方向通信可能に接続されており、これらのユニットなどと信号をやりとりする。
 次に、こうして構成された本実施形態の実装システム10の動作、特に、可動部35の移動に伴うエアー配管40及び電気配線45の動きについて、図3,4を用いて説明する。実装装置12の実装処理などが実行されると、制御装置70のCPU71は、必要に応じて実装ヘッド20(可動部35)をX軸方向(左右方向)に移動させる。例えば、可動部35が装置左側に移動されたときには、左側に配設されたエアー配管40は、第1引出部44が第1配設部31側(装置後方側)に向かって引き出されており、複数の屈曲部43を形成することにより、可動範囲Aから外に出ることがない。このとき、電気配線45も同様に可動範囲Aから外に出ることがない。また、可動部35が装置右側に移動されたときには、右側に配設された電気配線45は、第2引出部49が第2配設部32側(後方側)に向かって引き出されており、複数の屈曲部48を形成することにより、可動範囲Aから外に出ることがない。このとき、エアー配管40も同様に可動範囲Aから外に出ることがない。
 図6は、本発明とは別の接続部材支持機構118の平面図である。この接続部材支持機構118は、可動部35の移動方向に向かって引き出された第1引出部144を有するエアー配管140と、可動部35の移動方向に向かって引き出された第2引出部149を有する電気配線145とを備える。第1引出部144と第2引出部149とは、互いに反対方向に向かって引き出されている。なお、ここでは、接続部材支持機構18と同様の構成については同じ符号を付してその説明を省略する。この接続部材支持機構118では、エアー配管140や電気配線145は、屈曲部143,148が1つだけ形成されるU字配管、U字配線となっている。このように構成された接続部材支持機構118では、可動範囲Aの外側までエアー配管140や電気配線145が存在してしまい、可動不能な範囲が存在して装置が大きくなる。なお、従来では、エアー配管と電気配線とを1本の接続部材として配設部と接続部とを接続するものであり、このような構成では、より大きい可動不能な範囲が存在していた。これに対して、用途の異なる接続部材(配管や配線)は、好適な材質が異なることがあり、これらを分けて装置内に配設することが考えられる。このような複数の接続部材を同じ方向に屈曲させて配設すると、応力の違いなどから擦れが生じるなど互いに悪影響を及ぼすことがある。これを回避しようとして、図6に示すように、異なる方向に2つの接続部材を屈曲させて装置内に配設すると、可動不能な範囲が更に広がることになる。本発明の接続部材支持機構18では、2つの接続部材を設けるに際して、エアー配管40の第1引出部44及び電気配線45の第2引出部49を第1配設部31や第2配設部32の存在する装置後方側へ引き出すことにより、エアー配管40や電気配線45を可動範囲から出ないようにすることができるのである。
 ここで、本実施形態の構成要素と本発明の構成要素との対応関係を明らかにする。本実施形態の実装装置12が本発明の対基板作業装置に相当し、可動部35が可動部に相当し、エアー配管40が第1接続部材に相当し、電気配線45が第2接続部材に相当する。
 以上説明した本実施形態の接続部材支持機構18では、可動部35の移動によってもエアー配管40と電気配線45とが可動範囲Aの範囲外に出ないため、装置のコンパクト化、特に装置の幅方向のコンパクト化をより図ることができる。また、エアー配管40と電気配線45など複数の接続部材を用いることができる。また、エアー配管40は、第1配設部31側(装置後方側、可動部35の移動方向に直交する方向側)に向かって可動部35から引き出された第1引出部44を有し、電気配線45は、第2配設部32側(装置後方側、可動部35の移動方向に直交する方向側)に向かって可動部35から引き出された第2引出部49を有する。このため、エアー配管40や電気配線45は、例えば、引出部が移動方向に沿って引き出されているもの(図6参照)などに比して、可動部35が第1端A1側又は第2端A2側に配置されても、その屈曲した部分などが可動範囲Aの範囲外に突出しにくい。
 更に、エアー配管40及び電気配線45は、可動範囲Aの範囲内で可動部35が移動する際のいずれかの位置において、2以上の屈曲部43,48が形成されるため、可動部35の可動範囲Aから突出しにくい。更にまた、エアー配管40は、可動部35が移動する可動範囲Aの範囲内で第1配設部31の接続部分が第1端A1側に屈曲し、電気配線45は、可動部35が移動する可動範囲Aの範囲内で第2配設部32の接続部分が第2端A2側に屈曲する。即ち、エアー配管40と電気配線45とは、異なる形状の屈曲をするように配設されている。このため、これらの部材同士の干渉などをより抑制した状態で装置のコンパクト化を図ることができる。そして、第1配設部31及び第2配設部32は、可動範囲Aの第1端A1と第2端A2との間の中央領域Cに配設されているため、エアー配管40及び電気配線45の長さや応力のかかり方などに偏りなどが出にくく、可動部35を可動範囲Aの範囲内で移動しやすい。そしてまた、第1接続部材はエアー配管40であり、第2接続部材は電気配線45であるため、エアー配管と電気配線とを別々の接続部材としたうえで、装置のコンパクト化を図ることができる。そして更に、対基板作業装置は、実装装置12であるため、実装ヘッド20を備えた実装装置12のコンパクト化をより図ることができる。
 なお、本発明は上述した実施形態に何ら限定されることはなく、本発明の技術的範囲に属する限り種々の態様で実施し得ることはいうまでもない。
 例えば、上述した実施形態では、第1引出部44や第2引出部49の引き出し方向によって、エアー配管40や電気配線45が可動範囲Aから外に出ることがないものとしたが、特にこれに限定されない。また、上述した実施形態では、第1引出部44は、第1配設部31側(装置後方側)且つ可動部35の移動方向に垂直方向に引き出されているものとしたが、これに限定されず、いずれか一方を満たすものとしてもよい。なお、第2引出部49も同様である。
 上述した実施形態では、第1配設部31及び第2配設部32が左右に配設されているものとしたが、特にこれに限定されず、上下に配設されているものとしてもよい。また、上述した実施形態では、エアー配管40と電気配線45とが異なる屈曲を形成するように配設されているものとしたが、同じ屈曲を形成するように配設されているものとしてもよい。このとき、第1配設部31及び第2配設部32が上下に配設され、第1接続部33及び第2接続部34が上下に配設されているものとしてもよい。こうしても、2つの接続部材が可動部35の可動範囲Aの範囲外に出ないため、装置のコンパクト化を図ることができる。なお、第1配設部31及び第2配設部32が左右に配設されている方が、装置の上下方向のコンパクト化を図る上では特に好ましい。
 上述した実施形態では、エアー配管40は、第1接続部33に垂直部42が接続し、第1引出部44を介して水平部41が第1配設部31に接続されているものとしたが、可動部35から引出部が支持部材30の第1配設部31側に引き出されているものとすれば、特にこれに限られない。例えば、エアー配管40は、垂直部42がなく第1接続部に第1引出部44が直接接続されているものとしてもよい。即ち、第1接続部は、その接続方向が第1配設部31側(装置後方側)になるよう形成されているものとしてもよい。こうしても、接続部材が可動部35の可動範囲外に出ないため、装置のコンパクト化を図ることができる。なお、電気配線45も同様である。
 上述した実施形態では、2つの接続部材がエアー配管40と電気配線45とであるものとしたが、特にこれに限定されない。例えば、第1接続部材と第2接続部材とは、それぞれ用途が同じであってもよいし異なっていてもよく、それぞれ材質が同じであってもよいし異なっていてもよい。こうしても、第1接続部材と第2接続部材とが可動範囲外に出ないため、装置のコンパクト化をより図ることができる。
 上述した実施形態では特に説明しなかったが、第1配設部31からのエアー配管40の引き出し方向は、例えば、エアー配管40の屈曲の程度に応じて任意に定めることができる。また、第2配設部32においても同様である。
 上述した実施形態では、2つの接続部材を備えた接続部材支持機構18として説明したが、特にこれに限定されず、3以上の接続部材を備えるものとしてもよい。
 上述した実施形態では、対基板作業装置を実装装置として説明したが、例えば、対基板作業装置を基板にはんだを印刷する印刷装置としてもよいし、基板を搬送する搬送装置としてもよい。
 本発明は、電子部品の実装分野に利用可能である。

Claims (9)

  1.  基板に対する作業を行う対基板作業装置であって、
     第1端と第2端との間の可動範囲内で移動する可動部と、
     前記可動部と所定の第1配設部とに接続され、前記第1端側で前記可動範囲外に出ず且つ前記第2端側で前記可動範囲外に出ることなく配設された第1接続部材と、
     前記可動部と所定の第2配設部とに接続され、前記第1端側で前記可動範囲外に出ず且つ前記第2端側で前記可動範囲外に出ることなく配設された第2接続部材と、
     を備えた対基板作業装置。
  2.  前記第1接続部材は、前記第1配設部側に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第1引出部を有し、
     前記第2接続部材は、前記第2配設部側に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第2引出部を有する、請求項1に記載の対基板作業装置。
  3.  前記第1接続部材は、前記可動部の移動方向に対して垂直方向に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第1引出部を有し、
     前記第2接続部材は、前記可動部の移動方向に対して垂直方向に向かって前記可動部から引き出された第2引出部を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の対基板作業装置。
  4.  前記第1接続部材及び前記第2接続部材は、前記可動範囲内で前記可動部が移動する際のいずれかの位置において、2以上の屈曲部が形成される、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の対基板作業装置。
  5.  前記第1接続部材は、前記可動範囲内で前記可動部が移動する際に前記第1端側に屈曲し、
     前記第2接続部材は、前記可動範囲内で前記可動部が移動する際に前記第2端側に屈曲する、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の対基板作業装置。
  6.  前記第1配設部及び前記第2配設部は、前記可動範囲の第1端と第2端との間の中央領域に配設されている、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の対基板作業装置。
  7.  請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の対基板作業装置であって、
     前記第1配設部及び前記第2配設部が設けられ、前記可動部を前記可動範囲内で移動可能に支持する支持部材、を備え、
     前記第1接続部材は、前記支持部材に対して、前記第1配設部側が固定端であり前記可動部側が可動端であり、
     前記第2接続部材は、前記支持部材に対して、前記第2配設部側が固定端であり前記可動部側が可動端である、対基板作業装置。
  8.  前記第1接続部材は、エアー配管であり、
     前記第2接続部材は、電気配線である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の対基板作業装置。
  9.  前記可動部は、部品を前記基板に実装する実装ヘッドが配設されている、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の対基板作業装置。
