Abstract
L'invention concerne un frein à disque d'un véhicule automobile, en particulier d'un véhicule utilitaire. Ledit frein comprend un étrier (4) venant se plaquer sur le disque de frein (2), un support de frein (3) qui peut être fixé à demeure côté véhicule et qui est pourvu de saillies de support (31, 32) disposées côté entrée et côté sortie, au moins une garniture de frein (5, 6) qui est logée dans le support de frein (3) et qui est pourvue d'une plaque de support de garniture (53, 63) et une garniture de friction (52, 62), la saillie de support (31) côté entrée et une surface de guidage (54, 64), proche de cette dernière, de la plaque (53, 63) de support de garniture s'engrenant par coopération de formes radialement par rapport à un axe de rotation (A) du disque de frein (2). Un palier lisse conçu comme un palier fixe (9) est situé entre l'étrier de frein (4) et le support de frein (3), de sorte que l'étrier de frein (4) est guidé par rapport au support de frein (3) en étant mobile axialement par rapport à l'axe de rotation du disque de frein (2) et qu'il peut pivoter autour d'un axe de rotation parallèle à l'axe de rotation (A) du disque de frein (2). Des premiers et deuxièmes moyens de verrouillage (7, 10, 11, 41, 52, 62) correspondants les uns aux autres, qui, une fois montés, empêchent un pivotement de l'étrier de frein (4) autour de l'axe de rotation du palier fixe (9), sont disposés sur au moins une des garnitures de frein (5, 6) et sur l'étrier de frein (4). L'invention concerne en outre un étrier de frein, une garniture de frein et un agencement d'au moins une garniture de frein (5, 6) dans une ouverture de poche de garniture (43) d'un étrier de frein (4).
