Description

太陽光利用型ガラス温室
 本発明は、太陽光利用型ガラス温室に関する。
 近年、各国において、中~大規模の園芸施設として、太陽光利用型ガラス温室が注目されている。
 特に、オランダで開発された「フェンロー型」と呼ばれるガラス温室では、各棟に天窓が交互の向きに配置される構造となっており、比較的入射光量が多いという特徴がある(例えば、特許文献1)。
欧州特許出願公開第343287号明細書
 フェンロー型のガラス温室では、寒冷期の太陽光を取り入れやすいという特徴がある一方、夏期には、太陽光が必要以上に入射される傾向にあり、温室内が高温になりやすいという問題がある。また、このような問題に対処するため、温調設備等を使用して温室内の温度を一定の範囲内に維持しようとすると、運用コストが著しく上昇してしまう。
 このため、フェンロー型のガラス温室では、夏期の園芸栽培は休止される場合が多く、ガラス温室を年間を通じて有効に活用しているとは言えない状況にある。
 従って、季節による太陽光の入射量の変動が生じ難く、年間を通じて利用することが可能な太陽光利用型ガラス温室が要望されている。
 本発明は、このような背景に鑑みなされたものであり、本発明では、年間を通じて比較的安定に、一定範囲の日射量を維持することが可能な太陽光利用型ガラス温室を提供することを目的とする。

 以下、図面を参照して、本発明の一実施例について説明する。
 (従来の太陽光利用型ガラス温室について)
 まず、本発明の特徴および効果をより良く理解するため、図面を参照して、従来の太陽光利用型ガラス温室(フェンロー型のガラス温室)の構成について簡単に説明する。
 図1には、太陽光利用型ガラス温室として、従来から提案されているフェンロー型のガラス温室の構成を概略的に示す。なお、この図1では、奥行き方向を東西方向に配した場合のフェンロー型のガラス温室を示しており、東の方角から見た際の側面図として示されている。
 図1に示すように、このフェンロー型のガラス温室1は、北側2、南側4、東側6、および西側8(図1では、反対側の面に相当するため、示されていない)を有する。
 フェンロー型のガラス温室1は、基本単位となる温室ユニット11を、南北方向に沿って複数配列することにより構成される。例えば図1の例では、フェンロー型のガラス温室1は、4棟の温室ユニット11を南北方向に沿って接続することにより構成されている。
 各温室ユニット11は、頂上部12を含む天井部20と、軒下部50とを有する。
 天井部20は、温室ユニット11の頂上部12から垂らした垂線に対して南北対称に配置された屋根21、22を有する。図1には示されていないが、各屋根21、22は、骨組み部材によって支持されたガラス部材で構成される。
 一方、各温室ユニット11の軒下部50は、北下面部52、南下面部54、東下面部56および西下面部58(図1では視認できない)の各面で構成される。ただし、相互に隣接する温室ユニット11において、より南側にある温室ユニット11の北下面部52Nと、より北側にある温室ユニット11の南下面部54Sには、通常、壁面は存在せず、各ユニットを合わせた一室構成となることが多い。
 なお、各温室ユニット11の軒下部50を構成する北下面部52、南下面部54、東下面部56および西下面部58は、骨組み部材によって支持されたガラス部材で構成される。
 このフェンロー型のガラス温室1では、各温室ユニット11毎に、ガラス部材を有する屋根21、22が南北の交互の方角に配置される。従って、フェンロー型のガラス温室1では、入射光量を比較的高くすることができる。
 しかしながら、このようなフェンロー型のガラス温室1では、ガラス温室1を年間を通じて有効に活用することは難しいという問題がある。
 例えば、夏期のような暑季にフェンロー型のガラス温室1を使用した場合、温室内には必要以上の光量の太陽光が入射され、温室内は許容範囲を超える高温になる傾向にある。このため、暑季には、フェンロー型のガラス温室1を、例えば植物の栽培等に利用することが難しくなる。また、温調設備等を用いて温室内の温度を所定の範囲に維持しようとすると、運用コストが著しく上昇してしまう。
 なお、このような問題を回避するため、各温室ユニット11の屋根21、22に、熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材を使用することが考えられる。この場合、暑季に天井部20を介して、赤外光が温室内に入射することを抑制することができる。従って、暑季の温室内の温度上昇をある程度抑制することが可能になる。
 しかしながら、このような対策では、逆に冬期のような寒季に、温室内に赤外光が入射することが難しくなり、温室内の温度が所定の範囲を下回ってしまうという問題が生じ得る。その結果、今度は、寒季にフェンロー型のガラス温室1を使用することが難しくなる。また、この場合も、温調設備等を使用して、温室内の温度を所定の範囲に維持しようとすると、運用コストが著しく上昇してしまう。
 このように、従来のフェンロー型のガラス温室1では、季節毎の太陽光の入射量の変動が激しく、年間を通じて有効に利用することが難しいという問題がある。
 これに対して、本発明では、

 本発明による太陽光利用型ガラス温室では、傾斜屋根は、天井部の北側に面した部分に配置される。また、この傾斜屋根は、南に向かって延伸する庇を有し、傾斜屋根には熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材が配置されるという特徴を有する。
 また、この傾斜屋根は、水平方向に対して、前述の(1)式で表されるような所定の傾斜角αで傾斜しているという特徴を有する。
 さらに、傾斜屋根の庇の長さLは、前述の(2)式を満たすように選定されるという特徴を有する。
 このような特徴を有する太陽光利用型ガラス温室では、以降に詳しく説明するように、暑季には、傾斜屋根の熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材により、太陽光の入射量を有意に抑制することができる上、逆に寒季には、南向きの南上面部および南下面部のガラス部材によって、太陽光の入射量を有意に高めることが可能になる。
 従って、本発明による太陽光利用型ガラス温室では、年間を通じて温室内に入射する光量を所定の範囲内に維持すること可能となる。また、これにより、運用コストを抑制したまま、年間を通じて利用することが可能な太陽光利用型ガラス温室を提供することができる。
 (本発明の一実施例による太陽光利用型ガラス温室について)
 次に、図2および図3を参照して、本発明の一実施例による太陽光利用型ガラス温室について説明する。
 図2および図3には、本発明の一実施例による太陽光利用型ガラス温室(「第1のガラス温室」と称する)の構成を概略的に示す。図2には、第1のガラス温室を東の方角から見たときの側面図が示されており、図3には、第1のガラス温室を北の方角から見たときの側面図が示されている。
 ここで、本願において、東西南北(4方位)で表される各方角は、測量学や方位学で使用されるような厳密な意味での方向を示すものではなく、いずれの方角も、±45°(8方位)程度の範囲のずれを許容する概念であることに留意する必要がある。
 図2、図3に示すように、この第1のガラス温室200は、北側202、南側204、東側206、および西側208を有する。
 また、第1のガラス温室200は、天井部220と、軒下部250とを有する。天井部220は、庇213を有する傾斜屋根222を有する。
 ここで、天井部220は、第1のガラス温室200において、傾斜屋根222の最下部~外端212までの高さ領域を表し、軒下部250は、第1のガラス温室200において天井部220よりも下側の高さ領域を表すものとする。
 図2、図3に示すように、天井部220は、南側204に配置された南上面部224と、東側206に配置された東上面部226と、西側208に配置された西上面部228とを有する。なお、天井部220の北側202には、傾斜屋根222が配置される。
 一方、軒下部250は、北下面部252、南下面部254、東下面部256、および西下面部258の4つの面を有する。
 傾斜屋根222は、北下面部252とともに、第1のガラス温室200の北側202を形成する。同様に、南上面部224は、南下面部254とともに、第1のガラス温室200の南側204を形成する。東上面部226は、東下面部256とともに、第1のガラス温室200の東側206を形成する。また、西上面部228は、西下面部258とともに、第1のガラス温室200の西側208を形成する。
 ここで、第1のガラス温室200の北側202を除き、各側204、206および208では、それぞれの上面部と下面部は、上下に連続的に配置され、これによりガラス温室ユニット100の各側に、垂直壁が形成される。
 傾斜屋根222は、最南端に庇213を有し、従って、この庇213の外端212が、傾斜屋根222の外端212となる。
 なお、本願において、庇213は、傾斜屋根222において、南上面部224よりも南側にある部分(図2における長さL参照)を表すものとする。
 天井部220の傾斜屋根222は、ガラス部材および骨組み部材等で構成される。庇213は、太陽光の透過を遮蔽あるいは減衰、もしくは赤外光の透過を減衰する庇部材で構成される。
 天井部220の各上面部224、226、228は、それぞれ、ガラス部材および骨組み部材等で構成される。同様に、軒下部250の各下面部252、254、256、258は、それぞれ、ガラス部材および骨組み部材等で構成される。
 ただし、図2および図3では、明確化のため骨組み部材等は示されていない。すなわち、図2および図3では、北側の各上面部224、226、228には、ガラス部材のみが示されている。同様に、各下面部252、254、256、258には、ガラス部材のみが示されている。一方、傾斜屋根222には、庇部材とガラス部材の両方が示されている。
 より具体的には、図2および図3において、傾斜屋根222は、第1の天井ガラス部材232と庇部材215で構成され、南上面部224は、第2の天井ガラス部材234で構成され、東上面部226は、第3の天井ガラス部材236で構成され、西上面部228は、第4の天井ガラス部材238で構成される。同様に、北下面部252は、第1の軒下ガラス部材262で構成され、南下面部254は、第2の軒下ガラス部材264で構成され、東下面部256は、第3の軒下ガラス部材266で構成され、西下面部258は、第4の軒下ガラス部材268で構成される。
 ただし、これは、単なる一例に過ぎない。例えば、東側206を構成する東上面部226および東下面部256、ならびに西側208を構成する西上面部228および西下面部258は、必ずしもガラス部材を有する必要はない。
 なお、本願において、「上面部」および「下面部」という表現は、説明を明確化するための便宜的なものであることに留意する必要がある。例えば、上面部と下面部は、一体部材で構成されてもよい。
 ここで、第1のガラス温室200において、傾斜屋根222に配置される第1の天井ガラス部材232は、熱線反射機能を有する。例えば、第1の天井ガラス部材232は、Low-Eガラスであってもよい。
 また、第1のガラス温室200において、傾斜屋根222は、東の方角から見たとき、水平面に対して、南側が上向きとなるように、傾斜角αだけ傾斜した状態で配置される。
 この傾斜角αは、第1のガラス温室200が設置される場所の冬至の時期、すなわち年間を通して最も昼が短い時期における太陽の南中高度を元に定められる。ここで、「南中高度」という用語は、太陽が一日のうちで最も高く上がったときの、太陽と地平線との間の角度を意味する。
 より具体的には、傾斜角αは、冬至の時期の太陽の南中高度をθ(゜)としたとき、

 さらに、第1のガラス温室200では、傾斜屋根222における庇212の長さLは、第1のガラス温室200が設置される場所の夏至の時期、すなわち年間を通して最も昼が長い時期における太陽の南中高度を元に、以下のように定められる。

 以下、図4および図5を参照して、このような特徴を有する傾斜屋根222の効果について説明する。
 図4には、冬至の昼間に、第1のガラス温室200を東の方角からみた際の側面図を模式的に示す。また、図5には、夏至の昼間に、第1のガラス温室200を東の方角からみた際の側面図を模式的に示す。
 図4および図5に示すように、第1のガラス温室200の傾斜屋根222は、傾斜角αを有する。また、傾斜屋根222は、全長Lの庇213を有する。なお、図5に示すように、第1のガラス温室200の南側204の高さ、すなわち南側の壁の垂直長さHは、南上面部224の垂直長さHS1と、南下面部254の垂直長さHS2の和で表され、H=HS1+HS2である。
 ここで、太陽からの入射光が第1のガラス温室200に入射される場合を考える。
 まず、冬至の時期において、太陽が南中高度にある場合、図4に示すように、第1のガラス温室200に照射される太陽光101の入射方向(θ)は、傾斜屋根222の方向と略平行となる。これは、傾斜屋根222の傾斜角αは、前述の(1)式を満たすように選定されているためである。
 従って、冬至の時期を含む寒季には、第1のガラス温室200の南側の南上面部224および南下面部254を介して、太陽から多くの入射光101を取り入れることができる。その結果、寒季における、第1のガラス温室200内の温調(暖房)設備の稼働コストが有意に抑制される。
 一方、夏至の時期において、太陽が南中高度にある場合、図5に示すように、第1のガラス温室200に照射される太陽光102の入射方向(θ)は、傾斜屋根222の傾斜角αよりも大きくなる。
 しかしながら、傾斜屋根222には、熱線反射機能を有する第1の天井ガラス部材232が使用されている。従って、傾斜屋根222を介した太陽光102の入射は、有意に抑制される。
 また、傾斜屋根222は、庇213を有する。
 ここで、図5において、線分A(太陽光102と平行な線であって、庇213の外端212と南下面部254の底面を結ぶ線分)から傾斜屋根222の庇213を除く最南端の点Bまでの距離をcとすると、

 この結果から、庇213の長さLが(11)式の右辺と等しいか、より大きい場合、すなわち、前述の(2)式を満たす場合、太陽光102は、庇213による遮蔽効果により、第1のガラス温室200の南側(南上面部224および南下面部254)には、もはや入射されなくなることがわかる。
 このように、傾斜屋根222を熱線反射機能を有する第1の天井ガラス部材232で構成し、庇213の長さLを、(2)式を満たすように選定した場合、夏至の時期を含む暑季に、太陽光102の入射を有意に抑制することができる。その結果、暑季における、第1のガラス温室200内の温調(冷房)設備の稼働コストが有意に抑制される。
 このように、第1のガラス温室200では、暑季には、太陽光の入射量を有意に抑制することができる、また、逆に寒季には、太陽光の入射量を有意に高めることが可能になる。
 従って、第1のガラス温室200では、年間を通じて温室内に入射する光量を所定の範囲内に維持すること可能となる。また、これにより、運用コストを抑制したまま、第1のガラス温室200を年間を通じて利用することが可能になる。
 (各部材について)
 次に、前述の図2~図3に示したような第1のガラス温室200を構成する各部材、特に、各箇所に適用されるガラス部材について、詳しく説明する。なお、ここでは、各部材を表す際に、図2~図3に示した参照符号を使用するものとする。
 (庇部材215)
 庇213を構成する庇部材215は、太陽光の透過を遮蔽あるいは減衰、もしくは赤外光の透過を減衰することができる限り、いかなる材料で構成されてもよい。庇部材215は、例えば、金属、樹脂、および布などからなる板状またはフィルム状の材料で構成されてもよい。熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材でもよい。
 ここで、庇213の長さLは、2×H×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)未満であることが好ましい。庇がこれ以上の大きさになることは、庇部分の重量増等を招くことになってしまい、庇支持部分の補強が必要となるため、現実的ではない。
庇は取り外し可能な構造となっていてもよい。この場合、季節によっては(梅雨時、台風季等)取り外して使用することが可能である。
 (第1の天井ガラス部材232)
 傾斜屋根222に適用される第1の天井ガラス部材232は、熱線反射機能を有する限り、いかなるガラス部材であってもよい。
 例えば、第1の天井ガラス部材232は、ガラス基板の表面に赤外線反射機能を有する透明導電膜を配置することにより構成されてもよい。
 そのような透明導電膜としては、例えば、酸化スズ、酸化インジウム、スズドープ酸化インジウム、亜鉛ドープ酸化インジウム、および酸化亜鉛等がある。
 これらの透明導電膜の成膜方法は、特に限られない。透明導電膜は、例えば、熱分解法、PVD法、CVD法、スパッタリング法、およびゾルゲル法など、一般的な成膜プロセスで形成することができる。
 透明導電膜の厚さは、特に限られない。透明導電膜の厚さは、例えば、200nm~500nmの範囲であってもよい。
 なお、透明導電膜の上には、さらに別の層(例えば、低屈折率層および/または保護層など)が設置されてもよい。この層は必ずしも膜状である必要はなく、例えば薄板状のガラス板で構成してもよい。
 あるいは、第1の天井ガラス部材232は、複層ガラスで構成されてもよい。複層ガラスは、乾燥空気のような中間膜を介して、2枚のガラス基板を積層することにより構成される。
 第1の天井ガラス部材232に複層ガラスを適用した場合、傾斜屋根222の熱線反射機能に加えて、温室の内外にわたる熱貫流エネルギーを所定の範囲に抑制することが可能となる。すなわち、年間を通じて、温室の温度変化をよりいっそう抑制することが可能になる。
 そのような複層ガラスは、Low-Eガラスであってもよい。
 (第2の天井ガラス部材234)
 南上面部224に適用される第2の天井ガラス部材234は、太陽光を透過する限り、いかなるガラス部材であってもよい。第2の天井ガラス部材234は、複層ガラスであってもよい。この場合、前述のように、温室の内外にわたる熱貫流エネルギーを所定の範囲に抑制することが可能となる。
 (第1の軒下ガラス部材262)
 北下面部252に適用される第1の軒下ガラス部材262は、いかなるガラス部材であってもよい。
 特に、第1の軒下ガラス部材262は、温室内に向かって太陽光を反射する機能(ミラー機能)を有することが好ましい。この場合、第1のガラス温室200内に入射された入射光を、温室内に維持させることが可能になる。
 そのような機能を有するガラスは、例えば、ガラス基板の上に反射膜を配置することにより、構成されてもよい。
 そのような反射膜は、これに限られるものではないが、例えば、銀などで構成されてもよい。
 反射膜の成膜方法は、特に限られない。反射膜は、例えば、熱分解法、PVD法、CVD法、スパッタリング法、およびゾルゲル法など、一般的な成膜プロセスで形成することができる。
 反射膜の厚さは、特に限られない。反射膜の厚さは、例えば、200nm~500nmの範囲であってもよい。
 なお、第1の軒下ガラス部材262は、複層ガラスであってもよい。この場合、前述のように、温室の内外にわたる熱貫流エネルギーを所定の範囲に抑制することが可能となる。
 (第2の軒下ガラス部材264)
 南下面部254に適用される第2の軒下ガラス部材264は、太陽光を透過する限り、いかなるガラス部材であってもよい。第2の軒下ガラス部材264は、複層ガラスであってもよい。この場合、前述のように、温室の内外にわたる熱貫流エネルギーを所定の範囲に抑制することが可能となる。
 (その他のガラス部材)
 その他のガラス部材、すなわち第3および第4の天井ガラス部材236、238、ならびに第3および第4の軒下ガラス部材266、268は、いかなるガラス部材であってもよい。
 これらのガラス部材は、複層ガラスであってもよい。この場合、前述のように、温室の内外にわたる熱貫流エネルギーを所定の範囲に抑制することが可能となる。
 上記ガラス部材(第1の天井ガラス部材232、第2の天井ガラス部材234、第1の軒下ガラス部材262、第2の軒下ガラス部材264、その他のガラス部材)には、紫外線透過を抑制する素材を用いることもできる。紫外線透過を抑制するには、紫外線透過性の低い組成のガラス素材を用いてもよく、あるいは紫外線透過性の低い膜でガラス部材を被覆してもよい。紫外線透過を抑制することにより、温室内で用いる樹脂部材、フィルム部材、および塗装等の劣化を抑制することができる。また、紫外線透過を制御する素材を用いることにより、害虫がガラス温室に侵入することを防止したり、低減したりすることができ、さらに、花木や果樹で、淡い色を出す場合、発色を抑えることができる。
 また、上記ガラス部材(第1の天井ガラス部材232、第2の天井ガラス部材234、第1の軒下ガラス部材262、第2の軒下ガラス部材264、その他のガラス部材)には温室の内部側の面に流滴機能を付与できる。流滴機能は流滴剤の塗布や、流滴性のある膜の形成、流滴性のあるフィルムの配置などにより付与することができる。局所的な水滴の落下等は作物の発病を促すことがあり、温室の内部の壁面に流滴性を付与することにより、結露等が内部の作物に落下することを抑制することできるため、収率の低下を防止することが期待できる。
 (寸法について)
 次に、図2~図3に示したような第1のガラス温室200の概略的な寸法例について説明する。なお、これらの寸法は、単なる一例に過ぎず、第1のガラス温室200の各寸法が、これ以外の寸法を有してもよいことは明らかである。
 第1のガラス温室200の高さ、すなわち、地面~傾斜屋根222の外端212までの垂直長さは、例えば1m~10mの範囲であり、例えば2m~6mの範囲であってもよい。
 また、第1のガラス温室200の南上面部224の垂直長さ(HS1)と南下面部254の垂直長さ(HS2)の和(H)は、例えば1m~10mの範囲であり、例えば2m~6mの範囲であってもよい。
 また、第1のガラス温室200の北下面部252の垂直長さ、すなわち軒下部250の垂直長さは、例えば0.5m~9mの範囲であり、例えば1.5m~3.5mの範囲であってもよい。
 なお、第1のガラス温室200の東側206(または西側208)の南北方向の幅は、例えば1m~6mの範囲であり、例えば2m~5mの範囲であってもよい。
 傾斜屋根222の傾斜角αは、前述の(1)式から明らかなように、第1のガラス温室200が設置される場所の緯度LATによるが、傾斜角αは、15°<α<67°の範囲にある。
 これは、傾斜角αが15゜以下または傾斜角αが67゜以上の場合、年間を通して、入射光がほとんど得られなかったり、逆に相当の入射光が導入されたりして、前述のような効果が得られにくくなるためである。
 なお、前述のように、第1のガラス温室200は、北側202が、必ずしも厳密な意味での方角上の「北」(方位磁石等で示される唯一の北方向)を向いている必要はない(他の側も同じ)。すなわち、北側202は、方角上の「北」から、西または東の方角側に最大45゜ずれていてもよい。
 特に、例えば日本のような狭い地形では、厳密な意味での東西南北の方角に沿って、第太陽光利用型ガラス温室の各方位を配置することが難しい場合がしばしば生じることが予想される。そのような場合も、太陽光利用型ガラス温室の北側が前述の範囲内にある限り、そのような太陽光利用型ガラス温室は、本発明の範囲に含まれることに留意する必要がある。
 本発明の温室では、温室内部に光照射装置を設置して補光をしてもよい。作物の増収を図る場合や、天候変動などにより日照量が減ってしまった場合は、光照射装置で補光することにより温室内の栽培植物に照射する光量を増やすことができる。また、高密度に栽培する場合、影になる部分が増加するので補光が有効になる。補光の際、温室内の二酸化炭素濃度を高く調整することにより、効率良く光合成を活性化させることができる。さらに補光の際の波長を制御することにより、より効率的に照射することも可能となる。
 (本発明の一実施例による別の太陽光利用型ガラス温室について)
 次に、図6を参照して、本発明の一実施例による別の太陽光利用型ガラス温室(第2のガラス温室)について説明する。
 図6には、第2のガラス温室300の構成を概略的に示す。図6には、第2のガラス温室を東の方角から見たときの側面図が示されている。
 図6に示すように、この第2のガラス温室300は、北側302、南側304、東側306、および西側308(図3では視認されない)を有する。また、第2のガラス温室300は、天井部320と、軒下部350とを有する。
 第2のガラス温室300は、同形状の温室ユニットを、南北方向に沿って複数棟配列した形状で構成される。例えば、図3の例では、第1~第5の5棟の温室ユニット311a~311eを連続的に配置した構成にすることにより、第2のガラス温室300が構成される。ただし、配置される温室ユニットの数は任意である。
 各温室ユニット311a~311e(以下、単に「温室ユニット311」とも表す)は、前述の図2に示した第1のガラス温室200と同様の構成を有する。
 例えば、最南端にある第1の温室ユニット311aは、天井部320aとして、傾斜屋根322a、南上面部324a、東上面部326a、および西上面部328a(図示されていない)を有する。また、第1の温室ユニット311aは、軒下部350aとして、北下面部352a、南下面部354a、東下面部356a、および西下面部358a(図示されていない)を有する。
 傾斜屋根322aは、南端部312aの側に庇313aを有する。また、傾斜屋根322aは、東の方角から見たとき、水平面に対して、南側が上向きとなるように、傾斜角αだけ傾斜した状態で配置される。
 第1の温室ユニット311aの傾斜屋根322aは、第1の天井ガラス部材332aで構成される。第1の天井ガラス部材332aは、例えばLow-Eガラスのような、熱線反射機能を有するガラスで構成される。一方、庇313aは、太陽光の透過を遮蔽あるいは減衰、もしくは赤外光の透過を減衰する庇部材で構成される。
 図6に示すように、第1の温室ユニット311aにおいて、南上面部324aは、第2の天井ガラス部材334aで構成され、東上面部326aは、第3の天井ガラス部材336aで構成され、西上面部328aは、第4の天井ガラス部材338a(図示されていない)で構成される。
 また、第1の温室ユニット311aの軒下部350aにおいて、北下面部352aは、第1の軒下ガラス部材362aで構成され、南下面部354aは、第2の軒下ガラス部材364aで構成され、東下面部356aは、第3の軒下ガラス部材366aで構成され、西下面部358aは、第4の軒下ガラス部材368a(図示されていない)で構成される。
 ただし、通常の場合、各部分は、ガラス部材単独ではなく、ガラス部材と骨組み部材等で構成される。
 また、第1の温室ユニット311aの東側306を構成する東上面部326aおよび東下面部356a、ならびに西側308を構成する西上面部328aおよび西下面部358aは、必ずしもガラス部材を有する必要はない。
 第2のガラス温室300において、傾斜屋根322aは、東の方角から見たとき、水平面に対して、南側304が上向きとなるように、傾斜角αだけ傾斜した状態で配置される。
 この傾斜角αは、15°<α<67°の範囲であり、第2のガラス温室300が設置される場所の緯度(北緯または南緯)をLAT(゜)としたとき、

 各温室ユニット311a~311eの天井部320a~320eは、全体が組み合わされて、第2のガラス温室300の天井部320を構成する。また、各温室ユニット311a~311eの軒下部350a~350eは、全体が組み合わされて、第2のガラス温室300の軒下部350を構成する。
 なお、相互に隣接する温室ユニット311において、より南側にある温室ユニット311の北下面部と、より北側にある温室ユニット311の南下面部とは、重複するため、通常は省略され、各ユニットを合わせた一室構成となる。例えば、第1の温室ユニット311aの北下面部352aは、第2の温室ユニット311bの南下面部354bと重複するため、北下面部352aと南下面部354bのうちの一方は、省略される。
 ここで、第2のガラス温室300において、各傾斜屋根322a~322eに配置される第1の天井ガラス部材332a~332eは、熱線反射機能を有する。
 また、第1の温室ユニット311aにおける傾斜屋根322aの庇313aの長さLは、他の温室ユニット311b~311eにおける傾斜屋根322b~322eの庇313b~313eの長さLとは異なっている。
 すなわち、第1の温室ユニット311aにおける傾斜屋根322aの庇313aの長さLは、夏至の時期の太陽の南中高度をθ(゜)としたとき、

 を満たすように選定される。
 一方、他の温室ユニット311b~311eにおける傾斜屋根322b~322eの庇313b~313eの長さLは、天井部320b~320eにおける南上面部324b~324eの垂直長さをHS1としたとき、

 を満たすように選定される。
 このような長さLの庇313a、および長さLの庇313b~313eを設けた場合、庇313a~313eによる赤外光の遮蔽または減衰効果により、第2のガラス温室300の南側(南上面部324a~324e、および南下面部354a)における夏至の昼間の太陽光の入射は、大幅に低減される。
 従って、各温室ユニット311a~311eにおいて、傾斜屋根を熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材332a~332eで構成し、庇313a~313eの長さL、Lを前述のように選定した場合、夏至の時期を含む暑季に、昼間の太陽光102の入射を有意に抑制することができる。その結果、暑季における、第2のガラス温室300内の温調(冷房)設備の稼働コストが有意に抑制される。
 一方、各温室ユニット311a~311eにおいて、傾斜屋根322a~322eは、傾斜角αが前述の(1)式を満たすように選定されている。
 従って、冬至のような寒季には、各温室ユニット311a~311eの南上面部324a~324e、および第1の温室ユニット311aの南下面部354aを介して、太陽から昼間の入射光101を取り入れることができる。その結果、寒季における、第2のガラス温室300内の温調(暖房)設備の稼働コストが有意に抑制される。
 これらの効果により、第2のガラス温室300では、年間を通じて温室内に入射する光量を所定の範囲内に維持すること可能となる。また、これにより、運用コストを抑制したまま、第2のガラス温室300を年間を通じて利用することが可能になる。
 (第2のガラス温室300を構成する各部材について)
 第2のガラス温室300を構成する各部材は、前述の第1のガラス温室200を構成する各部材に関する説明から容易に類推できるため、ここでは繰り返し説明しない。
 なお、第2のガラス温室300において、温室ユニット311の配列数は、特に限られない。温室ユニット311の配列数は、例えば2~30の範囲であり、例えば2~15の範囲であってもよい。
 また、最南に配置される第1の温室ユニット311aを除く各温室ユニット311b~311eにおいて、庇313b~313eの長さLは、2×HS1×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)未満であることが好ましい。庇がこれ以上の大きさになることは、庇部分の重量増等を招くことになってしまい、庇支持部分の補強が必要となるため、現実的ではない。
庇は取り外し可能な構造となっていてもよい。この場合、季節によっては(梅雨時、台風季等)取り外して使用することが可能である。
 次に、本発明の実施例について説明する。
 (実施例1)
 本発明の一実施例によるガラス温室を想定して、一年間にガラス温室内に入射される日射量を計算した。
 なお、ここでは、ガラス温室の構成として、前述の図6に示したような第2のガラス温室300を採用した。すなわち、計算に使用したガラス温室は、同形状の温室ユニットが、南北方向に5棟連結されて構成されるものと仮定した。以下の説明では、明確化のため、各部材の説明の際に、図6で使用した参照符号のうち、a~eの符号部分を省略した参照符号を使用することにする。
 各温室ユニット311において、南北方向の幅は3mとし、東西方向の幅は10mとした。また、各温室ユニット311において、南上面部324の垂直長さHS1は、1.5mとし、南下面部354の垂直長さHS2(北下面部352の垂直長さと等しい)は、2.5mとした。従って、各温室ユニット311において、南側の壁の垂直長さH=4mである。
 傾斜屋根322の傾斜角αは、30.1゜である。
 なお、ガラス温室300の設置場所における緯度LATは、北緯36.1゜とした。この場合、前述の(1)式から得られる傾斜角αの範囲は、

となり、傾斜角α=30.1゜を満たす。
 さらに、最南の温室ユニット311の傾斜屋根322の庇313の長さLは、2.4mとした。一方、第2~第5の温室ユニット311の傾斜屋根322の庇313の長さLは、1.0mとした。
 この場合、前述の(2)式および(3)式から得られるLおよびLの範囲は、それぞれ、

となり、L=2.4mおよびL=1.0mをともに満たす。
 各温室ユニット311の傾斜屋根322および庇313は、熱線反射機能を有する複層ガラスで構成されているものと仮定した(遮蔽係数0.42)。これに対して、各温室ユニット311のその他の面は、全て単ガラス板(遮蔽係数0.89)で構成されているものとした。
 以上の想定の下、NEDOから公開されている時間毎の多照年の平均日射量のデータベースを参照して、各月の各時間毎に、第2のガラス温室300に入射される平均日射量を計算した。
 計算結果の一例を図7および図8に示す。
 図7には、2月における平均日射量の時間変化を示した。また、図8には、8月における平均日射量の時間変化を示した。なお、これらの図の縦軸は、日射エネルギー(kW)で示した。
 これらの比較から、第2のガラス温室300の場合、寒季(2月)と暑季(8月)の間で、日中の平均日射量にあまり大きな差異がないことがわかる。特に、第2のガラス温室300の場合、寒季(2月)の方が、暑季(8月)よりも平均日射量が幾分大きくなっており、寒季(2月)に、より多くの入射光を取り入れることができることがわかる。
 次に、各月において得られた時間帯毎の日射量を積分して、各月の1日当たりの平均日射エネルギーを計算した。その結果、例えば、2月の平均日射エネルギーは、724kWhとなり、8月の平均日射エネルギーは、692kWhとなった。
 (比較例1)
 次に、前述の図1に示したような、従来のガラス温室1において、同様の計算を実施した。
 ここで、従来のガラス温室1において、各温室ユニット11の南北方向の幅は、3mとし、東西方向の幅は、10mとした。また、各温室ユニット11の高さ(頂点12までの高さ)(棟高)は、4.86mとし、軒高は、4.0mとした。
 各温室ユニット11における屋根21の傾斜角は、東方角から見たとき、水平面に対して反時計周りに30゜とし、屋根22の傾斜角は、水平面に対して時計周りに30゜とした。なお、温室ユニット11の連結数は、5棟とした。
 以上の想定の下、実施例1と同様の方法により、各月の各時間毎に、従来のガラス温室1に入射される平均日射量を計算した。
 計算結果の一例を図9および図10に示す。図9には、2月における平均日射量の時間変化を示した。また、図10には、8月における平均日射量の時間変化を示した。なお、これらの図の縦軸は、日射エネルギー(kW)で示した。また、これらの図には、参考のため、図7および図8に示した実施例1における計算結果を同時に示した。
 図9および図10の比較から、従来のガラス温室1の場合、暑季(8月)の方が、寒季(2月)よりも平均日射量が大きくなっていることがわかる。特に、暑季(8月)の昼間(12:00前後)の平均日射量は、130kWを超え、極めて大きな平均日射量が生じることがわかる。
 次に、各月において得られた時間帯毎の日射量を積算して、各月の1日当たりの平均日射エネルギーを計算した。その結果、例えば、2月の平均日射エネルギーは、927kWhとなり、8月の平均日射エネルギーは、1132kWhとなった。
 この結果から、従来のガラス温室1では、寒季(2月)と暑季(8月)における日射量の差が大きいことがわかった。また、特に、暑季(8月)には、温調設備による相当の冷却が必要であることがわかった。
 このように、本発明の一実施例による太陽光利用型ガラス温室では、年間を通じて温室内に入射する光量を所定の範囲内に維持できることが確認された。また、これにより、運用コストを抑制したまま、年間を通じて利用することが可能な太陽光利用型ガラス温室を提供できることが確認された。
 本発明は、例えば、園芸栽培および温水プール等に適用可能な太陽光利用型ガラス温室等に利用することができる。
 本願は、2014年7月8日に出願した日本国特許出願2014-140933号に基づく優先権を主張するものであり、同日本国出願の全内容を本願に参照により援用する。

Claims (19)

  1.  太陽光利用型ガラス温室であって、
     当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室は、単一のユニットで構成され、該ユニットは、軒下部および天井部を有し、
     前記軒下部は、北下面部、南下面部、東下面部、および西下面部を有し、
     前記天井部は、北側に傾斜屋根を有し、南側に南上面部を有し、東側に東上面部を有し、西側に西上面部を有し、
     前記北側は、前記北下面部および前記傾斜屋根を有し、前記南側は、前記南下面部および前記南上面部を有し、前記東側は、前記東下面部および前記東上面部を有し、前記西側は、前記西下面部および前記西上面部を有し、前記南下面部の垂直長さと前記南上面部の垂直長さの和はHであり、
     前記傾斜屋根は、当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室を東の方角から見たとき、水平面に対して南側が上向きとなるように、傾斜角α(°)だけ傾斜しており、ここで、15゜<α<67゜であり、
     前記傾斜角αは、当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室が設置される場所の緯度(北緯または南緯)をLAT(゜)としたとき、
     
      63.6゜-LAT≦α≦69.6゜-LAT   (1)式
     
     で表され、
     前記傾斜屋根は、前記南上面部よりも南側に延伸する長さLの庇を有し、
     当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室が設置される場所における夏至の時期の太陽の南中高度をθ(゜)としたとき、前記庇の長さLは、前記Hおよび前記傾斜角αを用いて、
     
      L≧H×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)   (2)式
     
    で表され、
     前記南側の前記南上面部および前記南下面部は、ガラス部材を有し、
     前記傾斜屋根は、熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材を有することを特徴とする太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  2.  前記庇の長さLは、2×H×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)未満である、請求項1に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  3.  前記熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材は、複層ガラスである、請求項1または2に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  4.  前記北下面部は、ガラス部材を有する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  5.  前記北下面部に設置されるガラス部材は、複層ガラスである、請求項4の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  6.  前記北下面部に設置されるガラス部材は、温室内に向かって太陽光を反射する機能を有する、請求項4または5に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  7.  前記東上面部および/または前記西上面部は、ガラス部材を有する、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  8.  前記南上面部および/または前記南下面部に設置されるガラス部材は、複層ガラスである、請求項7に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  9.  太陽光利用型ガラス温室であって、
     当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室は、n棟(nは、2以上の整数)の温室ユニットを南北方向に隣接して配列することにより構成され、最も南側の温室ユニットは、第1の温室ユニットと称され、以下、北側に向かって、第2の温室ユニット、…、第nの温室ユニットと称され、
     各ユニットは、それぞれの軒下部および天井部を有し、各天井部は、北側に傾斜屋根を有し、南側に南上面部(垂直長さHS1)を有し、
     各ユニットの傾斜屋根は、当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室を東の方角から見たとき、水平面に対して南側が上向きとなるように、傾斜角αだけ傾斜しており、ここで、15゜<α<67゜であり、
     前記傾斜角αは、当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室が設置される場所の緯度(北緯または南緯)をLAT(゜)としたとき、
     
      63.6゜-LAT≦α≦69.6゜-LAT   (1)式
     
     で表され、
     前記第1の温室ユニットは、該第1の温室ユニットの軒下部の南側に、南下面部(垂直長さHS2)を有し、前記第1の温室ユニットの前記南上面部の垂直長さHS1と、前記南下面部の垂直長さHS2との和は、Hであり、
     前記第1の温室ユニットにおいて、前記傾斜屋根は、前記南上面部よりも南側に延伸する長さLの庇を有し、
     当該太陽光利用型ガラス温室が設置される場所における夏至の時期の太陽の南中高度をθ(゜)としたとき、前記庇の長さLは、前記Hおよび前記傾斜角αを用いて、
     
      L≧H×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)   (2)式
     
    で表され、
     前記第2~第nの温室ユニットの前記傾斜屋根は、それぞれの温室ユニットの前記南上面部よりも南側に延伸する長さLの庇を有し、
     前記庇の長さLは、前記HS1および前記傾斜角αを用いて、
     
      L≧HS1×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)   (3)式
     
    で表され、
     各温室ユニットの前記南上面部は、ガラス部材を有し、
     前記第1の温室ユニットの前記南下面部は、ガラス部材を有し、
     各温室ユニットの前記傾斜屋根は、熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材を有することを特徴とする太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  10.  前記庇の長さLは、2×H×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)未満である、請求項9に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  11.  前記庇の長さLは、2×HS1×sin(90゜-θ)/sin(θ-α)未満である、請求項9または10に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  12.  前記熱線反射機能を有するガラス部材の少なくとも一つは、複層ガラスである、請求項9乃至11のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  13.  前記第nの温室ユニットは、前記軒下部の北側に北下面部を有し、該北下面部は、ガラス部材を有する、請求項9乃至12のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  14.  前記北下面部に設置されるガラス部材は、複層ガラスである、請求項13に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  15.  前記北下面部に設置されるガラス部材は、温室内に向かって太陽光を反射する機能を有する、請求項13または14に記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  16.  各温室ユニットは、それぞれの天井部に、東側に面する東上面部と、西側に面する西上面部とを有し、
     前記東上面部および/または前記西上面部は、ガラス部材を有する、請求項9乃至15のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  17.  各温室ユニットにおいて、前記南上面部に設置されるガラス部材は、複層ガラスである、請求項9乃至16のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  18.  前記第1の温室ユニットの前記南下面部のガラス部材は、複層ガラスである、請求項9乃至16のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
  19.  前記nは、2~30の範囲である、請求項9乃至18のいずれか一つに記載の太陽光利用型ガラス温室。
