Abstract

There is provided a drive power transmission device capable of transmitting drive power asynchronously with rotation of an input shaft. The drive power transmission device (10) includes a first rotation shaft (12), a second rotation shaft (14), an elastic member (18), and a vibration element (20). One end of the elastic member (18) is fixed to the second rotation shaft (14) at a position spaced from its central axis, while the other end of the elastic member (18) is fixed to the vibration element (20). The vibration element (20) is capable of being placed in either one of a first state of being connected to the first rotation shaft (12) and a second state of being disconnected from the first rotation shaft (12).
