- the uplink HARQ is a process of transmitting a UL grant of a base station, transmitting a PUSCH of a terminal (scheduled by the UL grant), and transmitting an ACK / NACK for the PUSCH through a PHICH or transmitting a new UL grant. do.
- an interval between a UL grant and a PUSCH and a PUSCH and a PHICH (or a UL grant) may be predetermined as 4 ms.
- the carrier aggregation system is also called a multiple carrier system.
- the 3GPP LTE system supports a case where the downlink bandwidth and the uplink bandwidth are set differently, but this assumes one component carrier (CC).
- the 3GPP LTE system supports up to 20MHz and may have different uplink and downlink bandwidths, but only one CC is supported for each of the uplink and the downlink.
- Carrier aggregation (or carrier aggregation, also referred to as spectrum aggregation) is to support a plurality of CC. For example, if five CCs are allocated as granularity in a carrier unit having a 20 MHz bandwidth, a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz may be supported.
- 10 is a comparative example of a single carrier system and a carrier aggregation system.
- the carrier aggregation system (FIG. 10 (b)) has three DL CCs and three UL CCs, but the number of DL CCs and UL CCs is not limited.
- PDCCH and PDSCH may be independently transmitted in each DL CC, and PUCCH and PUSCH may be independently transmitted in each UL CC.
- the PUCCH may be transmitted only through a specific UL CC.
- the UE may be provided with services from three serving cells.
- the UE may monitor the PDCCH in the plurality of DL CCs and receive DL transport blocks simultaneously through the plurality of DL CCs.
- the terminal may transmit a plurality of UL transport blocks simultaneously through the plurality of UL CCs.
- Each serving cell may be identified through a cell index (CI).
- the CI may be unique within the cell or may be terminal-specific.
- the serving cell may be divided into a primary cell and a secondary cell.
- the primary cell is a cell in which the UE performs an initial connection establishment process, initiates a connection reestablishment process, or is designated as a primary cell in a handover process.
- Primary cells are also referred to as reference cells.
- the secondary cell may be established after the RRC connection is established and may be used to provide additional radio resources. At least one primary cell is always configured, and the secondary cell may be added / modified / released by higher layer signaling (eg, RRC message).
- the CI of the primary cell can be fixed. For example, the lowest CI can be designated as the CI of the primary cell.
- the primary cell is composed of DL downlink primary compoenent carrier (DL PCC) and uplink primary component carrier (UL PCC) in terms of component carriers.
- the secondary cell may be configured of only a DL downlink secondary component carrier (DL SCC) or a pair of DL SCC and UL uplink secondary component carrier (UL SCC) in terms of component carriers.
- a plurality of component carriers (CCs), that is, a plurality of serving cells may be supported.
- Such a carrier aggregation system may support cross-carrier scheduling (CCS).
- Cross-carrier scheduling is a resource allocation of a PDSCH transmitted on another component carrier through a PDCCH transmitted on a specific component carrier and / or a PUSCH transmitted on a component carrier other than the component carrier basically linked with the specific component carrier.
- Scheduling method that allows resource allocation. That is, the PDCCH and the PDSCH may be transmitted on different DL CCs, and the PUSCH may be transmitted on another UL CC other than the UL CC linked to the DL CC on which the PDCCH including the UL grant is transmitted.
- a carrier indicator indicating a DL CC / UL CC through which a PDSCH / PUSCH for which PDCCH provides control information is transmitted is required.
- a field including such a carrier indicator is hereinafter called a carrier indication field (CIF).
- a carrier aggregation system supporting cross carrier scheduling may include a carrier indicator field (CIF).
- CIF carrier indicator field
- 3 bits may be extended, and the PDCCH structure may include an existing coding method, Resource allocation methods (ie, CCE-based resource mapping) can be reused.
- the base station may set a PDCCH monitoring DL CC (monitoring CC) set.
- the PDCCH monitoring DL CC set includes some DL CCs among the aggregated DL CCs, and when cross-carrier scheduling is configured, the UE performs PDCCH monitoring / decoding only for DL CCs included in the PDCCH monitoring DL CC set. In other words, the base station transmits the PDCCH for the PDSCH / PUSCH to be scheduled only through the DL CC included in the PDCCH monitoring DL CC set.
- the PDCCH monitoring DL CC set may be configured UE-specifically, UE group-specifically, or cell-specifically.
- Non-cross carrier scheduling is a resource allocation of a PDSCH transmitted through the specific component carrier and / or an element basically linked with the specific component carrier through a PDCCH transmitted through a specific component carrier.
- a scheduling method for resource allocation of a PUSCH transmitted through a carrier is a scheduling method for resource allocation of a PUSCH transmitted through a carrier.
- a DL subframe and an UL subframe coexist in one radio frame.
- the number of UL subframes may be less than or equal to the number of DL subframes according to the UL-DL configuration. Therefore, in case of a lack of a UL subframe for transmitting an ACK / NACK signal, a plurality of ACK / NACK signals for DL transport blocks or PDSCHs received in a plurality of DL subframes are transmitted in one UL subframe.
- ACK / NACK bundling transmits an ACK when all of the PDSCHs (downlink transport blocks) received by the UE succeed, and in other cases, transmits an NACK.
- ACK or NACKs for each PDSCH are compressed through a logical AND operation.
- ACK / NACK multiplexing is also referred to as ACK / NACK channel selection (or simply channel selection).
- ACK / NACK multiplexing the UE selects one PUCCH resource among a plurality of PUCCH resources and transmits ACK / NACK.
- the table below shows DL subframe nk associated with UL subframe n according to UL-DL configuration in 3GPP LTE, where k ⁇ K and M indicate the number of elements of set K (hereinafter, K includes k Set, M represents the number of elements of set K). That is, when data is received in DL subframe n-k, ACK / NACK for the data is transmitted in UL subframe n. Table 5 shows k values for each UL subframe n.
- one terminal may transmit and receive data through a plurality of aggregated cells (CCs).
- the control signal for scheduling / controlling a plurality of cells may be transmitted only through DL CCs of a specific cell or through DL CCs of each cell.
- the former may be referred to as cross carrier scheduling, and the latter may be referred to as non-cross carrier scheduling.
- the CC through which the control signal is transmitted may be referred to as a scheduling CC below, and the remaining CCs may be referred to as scheduling CCs.
- the scheduling CC and the scheduled CC may be the same CC, and in the cross carrier scheduling, the scheduling CC and the scheduled CC may be different from each other.
- the scheduling CC typically includes a primary CC (PCC).
- PCC is used as a CC for transmitting an uplink control signal.
- CC that is not a PCC is called an SCC.
- PCC is used as a representative example of a scheduling CC
- SCC is used as a representative example of a scheduling CC.
- it is not necessarily limited thereto.
- the UE operating in LTE-A Rel 10 could aggregate only CCs having the same frame structure.
- a plurality of TDD CCs are aggregated, only CCs having the same UL-DL configuration may be used.
- non-carrier scheduling is used, the timing relationship defined in one CC is simply extended to a plurality of CCs.
- aggregated CCs may use different frame structures.
- FDD CC and TDD CC may be aggregated.
- FIG. 11 illustrates an example in which a plurality of serving cells use different types of radio frames in a wireless communication system.
- a primary cell (PCell) and a secondary cell (SCell) may be configured in the terminal.
- the primary cell may operate in FDD to use an FDD frame
- the secondary cell may operate in TDD to use a TDD frame.
- the UL-DL configuration of the secondary cell may be UL-DL configuration 2. Since the primary cell is an FDD cell, the downlink subframe (denoted D) and the uplink subframe (denoted U) exist as 1: 1, but since the secondary cell is a TDD cell, the downlink subframe and the uplink subframe It may be present in a ratio other than 1: 1.
- a primary cell is a scheduling cell and a secondary cell is a cell to be scheduled
- a frame structure used in the order of [[scheduling primary cell, scheduled secondary cell]] will be described.
- the cell indicated as the primary cell may have the same meaning as a cell transmitting the PUCCH.
- the PDSCH received by the secondary cell and the ACK / transmitted by the primary cell HARQ timing between NACK may be 1.
- HARQ timing according to TDD UL-DL configuration x may be applied.
- HARQ timing according to DL reference UL-DL configuration may be applied.
- the DL reference UL-DL configuration may be set to RRC or a predetermined reference UL-DL configuration may be used.
- a 'FDD cell HARQ timing' arrow indicated by a solid line in FIG. 11 indicates HARQ timing between PDSCH and ACK / NACK when the HARQ timing of the 1. FDD cell is applied.
- the interval between the downlink subframe of the secondary cell receiving the PDSCH and the uplink subframe of the primary cell transmitting the ACK / NACK is always 4 subframes.
- TDD UL-DL configuration x is applied. It can be seen that the interval between the downlink subframe of the secondary cell receiving the PDSCH and the uplink subframe of the primary cell transmitting the ACK / NACK is determined according to TDD UL-DL configuration 2 (see Table 5).
- the DL reference UL-DL configuration refers to a UL-DL configuration used for determining HARQ timing.
- the primary cell is an FDD cell
- the UL-DL configuration of the secondary cell is UL-DL configuration 1.
- the DL reference UL-DL configuration for determining HARQ timing may be determined as UL-DL configuration 4 rather than UL-DL configuration 1 of the secondary cell. That is, when the data channel is received in the DL subframe of the secondary cell, the subframe in which the ACK / NACK is to be transmitted is determined by UL-DL configuration 4, not the subframe in which the ACK / NACK is to be transmitted according to UL-DL configuration 1. It may be (this is merely an example to help understand).
- the DL reference UL-DL configuration may be applied mainly when both the primary cell and the secondary cell use a TDD frame but use different UL-DL configurations.
- the following table shows a DL reference UL-DL configuration for each (UL-DL configuration # of the primary cell, UL-DL configuration # of the secondary cell).
- FIG. 12 illustrates another example in which a plurality of serving cells uses different types of radio frames in a wireless communication system.
- a primary cell (PCell) using a TDD frame and a secondary cell (SCell) using an FDD frame may be configured in the terminal.
- the HARQ timing between the PDSCH received in the secondary cell and the ACK / NACK (corresponding to the PDSCH) transmitted in the primary cell is determined according to 1.

- one terminal may transmit / receive data / control information using a plurality of cells.
- the terminal uses one cell initially connected as the primary cell (PCell).
- a cell additionally configured through the primary cell is called a secondary cell (SCell).
- the primary cell maintains a connection between the base station and the terminal such as radio link management (RLM), radio resource management (RRM), system information transmission, physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission, and uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission.
- RLM radio link management
- RRM radio resource management
- PRACH physical random access channel
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- the secondary cell is mainly used for scheduling information and data channel transmission for the data channel.
- the primary cell and the secondary cell may be UE-specifically configured. That is, when there are a plurality of cells in the system, a special cell used as a primary cell is not separately defined, but each cell may be used as a primary cell or a secondary cell, and at each terminal, any one of the plurality of cells may be stored. It will be used as a head cell. Thus, all cells are configured to perform the operation of the primary cell. That is, every cell implements transmission of synchronization signals, transmission of broadcast channels, transmission of cell-specific reference signals (CSRs), configuration of a PDCCH region, and the like. This is referred to as backward compatible cell or legacy carrier type (LCT).
- CSRs cell-specific reference signals
- the next system considers the introduction of a cell having no backward compatibility by removing some or all of unnecessary information when used as a secondary cell.
- This is called a new carrier type (NCT or extension carrier).
- NCT new carrier type
- the CRS is not transmitted in every subframe but only in some subframe / frequency intervals, or the downlink control channel region such as the existing PDCCH is eliminated or reduced, and the downlink control channel region specialized for each UE is newly created. Can be set.
- NCT can be configured using only the downlink band.
- a carrier using only downlink subframes may be configured according to the UL-DL configuration defined in the following table, and the configured carrier may be used as an NCT.

- ACK / NACK transmission for the PDSCH received in the secondary cell may be limited to be performed only in the primary cell.
- the downlink HARQ timing of the TDD primary cell when ACK / NACK should be transmitted for the PDSCH received in the downlink subframe of the FDD secondary cell at the same time as the uplink subframe of the TDD primary cell. There is a problem that is not determined.
- a method of setting ACK / NACK timing is required.
- the second secondary cell is cross-carrier scheduled from the first secondary cell, it is necessary to set the ACK / NACK timing according to the combination of the three cells.
- the three cells may mean only cells that affect scheduling and HARQ timing among the plurality of cells.
- the combination of the three cells can be eight combinations as shown in the following table.
- a case in which the primary cell, the first secondary cell (scheduling cell), and the second secondary cell (scheduled cell) do not have a cell having different TDD UL-DL configuration is called 'Same TDD UL-DL configuration'. If there is a cell having different TDD UL-DL configuration, it is indicated as 'Different TDD UL-DL configuration'.

- 'TDD x' means a TDD cell that is a TDD UL-DL configuration x (more precisely, the TDD UL-DL configuration when operating as a primary cell is x or a cell-specific TDD UL-DL configuration is x Cell).
- TDD 3 means a TDD cell set to TDD UL-DL configuration 3.
- HARQ timing of a cell scheduled according to each combination of Table 8 will be described. That is, when a first secondary cell schedules a second secondary cell and receives a PDSCH in a second secondary cell, when a primary cell transmits an ACK / NACK for the PDSCH, a time relationship between the PDSCH and the ACK / NACK That is, HARQ timing will be described.
