Abstract

Es wird eine dimmbare LED-Leuchtmittelstrecke (LMS) bereitgestellt, mit wenigstens zwei parallel und/oder gegenparallel geschalteten LED-Leuchtmittelketten (LMK, LMK2, LMK3) aufweisend jeweils wenigstens eine Leuchtdiode (L), wobei die LED-Leuchtmittelstrecke eine Steuereinheit (SE) aufweist und über eine Versorgung (V) gespeist wird, die dazu eingerichtet ist, über die Versorgung eine Dimminformation zugeführt zu bekommen und abhängig von der zugeführten Dimminformation und zu deren Umsetzung einzelne der parallel/gegenparallel geschalteten LED-Leuchtmittelketten stufenweise an- und/oder abzuschalten.
