Abstract

The invention relates to an energy management device and to a method for controlling a charging process. The invention creates an expanded control of a charging station for an electric vehicle by means of an energy management device. For this purpose, the energy management device first receives information about a connected electric vehicle and in particular about the state of charge of said electric vehicle from the charging station. The energy management device then creates a parameterization for the charging process of the electric vehicle and transfers said parameterization to the charging station. Thus, the charging process of an electric vehicle can be further optimized and, at the same time, the ratings of a connected energy supply network or the like can be kept as low as possible because of the energy management device.
