シール状態を維持しながら摺動する部分、例えば、注射器のプランジャーに一体化されてプランジャーとシリンジのシールを行うガスケットには、シール性を重視し、ゴム等の弾性体が使用されているが、摺動性に若干問題がある(特許文献1参照)。そのため、摺動面にシリコーンオイルなどの摺動性改良剤を塗布しているが、最近上市されているバイオ製剤にシリコーンオイルが悪影響を及ぼす可能性が指摘されている。一方、シリコーンオイルを塗布していないガスケットは摺動性に著しく劣るため、投与の際にプランジャーを円滑に押せずに脈動し、注入量が不正確になる、患者に苦痛を与えるなどの問題が生じる。
このような、シール性と摺動性の相反する要求を満たすため、自己潤滑性を有するPTFEフィルムを被覆する技術が提案されている(特許文献2参照)。PTFEフィルムで被覆することにより、十分な摺動性が得られているが、更に高い摺動性を求める声もある。また、バイオ製剤中に含まれるタンパク質の吸着は、PTFEフィルムで被覆することにより、十分低減させることができるが、更に下げてほしいという要望もある。
また、水存在下での摺動性が要求される他の用途への応用も考えられる。すなわち、プレフィルドシリンジのシリンジ内面や水を送るための管又はチューブの内面の流体抵抗を下げることや、水との接触角を上げる、または目覚しく下げることでロスなく水を送れる。タイヤの溝表面の流体抵抗を下げることや、水との接触角を上げる、または目覚しく下げることでウエットや雪上路面での水や雪のはけが良くなり、結果としてグリップ性が向上し安全性が改善される。タイヤのサイドウォール面や建物の壁の摺動抵抗を減少させることや、水との接触角を上げることでゴミや粉塵が付着しにくくなることも期待できる。
更に、ダイヤフラムポンプ、ダイヤフラム弁などのダイヤフラムで水又は水溶液等を送る時の圧損が少なくなる。スキー板やスノーボード板の滑走面の摺動性を高めることで滑りやすくなる。道路標識や看板の摺動性を高めて雪が滑りやすくすることで標識が見やすくなる。船の外周面の摺動抵抗を低下させることや、水との接触角を上げることで水の抵抗が減少するとともに外周面に菌が付着しにくくなる。水着の糸表面の摺動性を改良することで水の抵抗が減る、などの有利な効果も期待できる。
本発明は、前記課題を解決し、優れた摺動性、タンパク質の吸着防止性を付与し、かつシール性も維持できる摺動性弾性体、並びに、該摺動性弾性体を用いた注射器用ガスケット、カテーテル及びタイヤを提供することを目的とする。
本発明は、表面の全部又は一部がフッ素樹脂フィルムでラミネートされた弾性体に、フッ素系オイルの処理を施した摺動性弾性体に関する。
前記フッ素樹脂フィルムは、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、テトラフルオロエチレン・エチレン共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン・パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン・ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、ポリビニリデンフルオライド、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、又はクロロトリフルオロエチレン・エチレン共重合体であることが好ましい。
前記フッ素系オイルは、パーフルオロポリエーテルであることが好ましい。
また、前記フッ素系オイルは、下記式(1)及び/又は(2)で表される化合物であることが好ましい。

前記フッ素系オイルの40℃における動粘度は、40mm2/s以上であることが好ましい。

本発明によれば、表面の全部又は一部がフッ素樹脂フィルムでラミネートされた弾性体に、フッ素系オイルの処理を施した摺動性弾性体であるので、優れた摺動性、タンパク質の吸着防止性を付与し、かつシール性も維持できる。従って、該摺動性弾性体を用いることにより、これらの性能に優れた注射器用ガスケットなどを提供できる。
本発明の摺動性弾性体は、表面の全部又は一部がフッ素樹脂フィルムでラミネートされた弾性体に、フッ素系オイルの処理を施したものである。これにより、摺動性やシール性を顕著に改善できるとともに、該摺動性弾性体へのタンパク質の吸着も防止できる。
弾性体としては、ゴム、熱可塑性エラストマーなどが挙げられる。なかでも、本発明の効果が良好に得られるという点から、ゴム(ゴム弾性体)を使用することが好ましい。
ゴムとしては、スチレンブタジエンゴム、ブタジエンゴム、イソプレンゴム、天然ゴム、脱タンパク天然ゴムなどのジエン系ゴム、及びイソプレンユニットを不飽和度として数パーセント含むブチルゴム、ハロゲン化ブチルゴムなどが挙げられる。ブチルゴム、ハロゲン化ブチルゴムの場合、加硫ゴムからの抽出物が少なくなる点から、トリアジンによる架橋ゴムが好ましい。この場合、受酸剤を含んでもよく、好適な受酸剤としては、ハイドロタルサイト、炭酸マグネシウムが挙げられる。
他のゴムの場合は、硫黄加硫が好ましい。その場合、硫黄加硫で一般に使用されている加硫促進剤、酸化亜鉛、フィラー、シランカップリング剤などの配合剤を添加してもよい。フィラーとしては、カーボンブラック、シリカ、クレー、タルク、炭酸カルシウムなどを好適に使用できる。
なお、ゴムの加硫条件は適宜設定すれば良く、ゴムの加硫温度は、好ましくは150℃以上、より好ましくは170℃以上、更に好ましくは175℃以上である。
熱可塑性エラストマーとしては、例えば、可塑性成分(ハードセグメント)の集まりが架橋点の役割を果たすことにより常温でゴム弾性を有する高分子化合物(スチレン-ブタジエンスチレン共重合体などの熱可塑性エラストマー(TPE)など);熱可塑性成分及びゴム成分が混合され架橋剤によって動的架橋が行われたゴム弾性を有する高分子化合物(スチレン系ブロック共重合体又はオレフィン系樹脂と、架橋されたゴム成分とを含むポリマーアロイなどの熱可塑性エラストマー(TPV)など)が挙げられる。
また、他の好適な熱可塑性エラストマーとして、ナイロン、ポリエステル、ウレタン、ポリプロピレン、及びそれらの動的架橋熱可塑性エラストマーが挙げられる。動的架橋熱可塑性エラストマーの場合、ハロゲン化ブチルゴムを熱可塑性エラストマー中で動的架橋したものが好ましい。この場合の熱可塑性エラストマーは、ナイロン、ウレタン、ポリプロピレン、SIBS(スチレン-イソブチレン-スチレンブロック共重合体)などが好ましい。
フッ素樹脂フィルムとしては、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン・エチレン共重合体(ETFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン・パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)、テトラフルオロエチレン・ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体(FEP)、ポリビニリデンフルオライド(PVDF)、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン(PCTFE)、クロロトリフルオロエチレン・エチレン共重合体(ECTFE)、及びこれらの変性樹脂(変性PTFE、変性ETFEなど)などが挙げられる。
弾性体は、表面の全部又は一部がフッ素樹脂フィルムでラミネートされたものであり、ラミネートは公知の方法で実施できる。ラミネート部位は特に限定されず、用途に応じて適宜設定すればよい。例えば、注射器用ガスケット(プレフィルドシリンジ用ガスケットなど)は、一般に、シリンジ内で薬液に接触し、摺動時にシリンジ内壁に接触しない接液部と、摺動時にシリンジ内壁と接触する摺動部(環状シール部)と、プランジャーロッドが嵌合される嵌合穴とを有しているが、少なくとも接液部がフッ素樹脂フィルムでラミネートされていることが好ましい。
本発明の摺動性弾性体は、前述のフッ素樹脂フィルム被覆弾性体の表面にフッ素系オイルによる処理が施されたものである。これにより、摺動性、摺動の繰り返しによる耐久性が高まるとともに、タンパク質の吸着も防止できる。
フッ素系オイルは、ポリアルキルエーテル化合物における水素原子の一部又は全部をフッ素で置換した常温で液状又はグリース状の物質などであり、塩素、臭素などのハロゲン、リン、硫黄、窒素などを含むものでもよい。
フッ素系オイルとしては、パーフルオロポリエーテル(パーフルオロアルキルポリエーテルなど)などのフルオロポリエーテル、ハイドロフルオロエーテルなどが挙げられ、ダイキン工業(株)製のデムナムシリーズ、デュポン(株)製のKRYTOXシリーズなどの商品が市販されている。これらは単独で用いても2種以上を併用してもよい。
パーフルオロポリエーテルとしては、ポリアルキルエーテル化合物における水素原子の全部をフッ素で置換した化合物が好ましく、特に下記式(1)又は下記式(2)で表される化合物が好ましい。

式(1)のmは、好ましくは4~500、より好ましくは10~100の整数である。式(2)のnは、好ましくは4~500、より好ましくは7~60の整数である。
上記フッ素系オイルの40℃における動粘度は、10mm2/s以上が好ましく、40mm2/s以上がより好ましく、60mm2/s以上が更に好ましい。10mm2/s未満であると、フッ素系オイルが充分に吸着せず、摺動性などの効果が不充分になるおそれがある。また、上限は、粘度が高すぎると高摺動性が得られないので、1000mm2/s以下が好ましく、600mm2/s以下がより好ましい。
なお、動粘度(40℃)は、JIS K2283に準拠して測定できる。

フッ素系オイルによる処理を前記フッ素樹脂フィルム被覆弾性体の表面に施す方法としては、該被覆弾性体の表面に接触可能な方法であれば特に限定されず、例えば、塗布、吹き付け、浸漬、被覆などが挙げられる。なかでも、塗布、被覆の方法が好適である。フッ素系オイルによる処理は、フッ素樹脂フィルム被覆弾性体表面の全部又は一部でよく、用途に応じて適宜設定すればよい。例えば、注射器用ガスケットでは、少なくともガスケット表面の摺動部に処理が施されていることが好ましい。
図1は、注射器用ガスケットの断面図の一例である。図1に示されている注射器用ガスケット1は、弾性体12における注射器の注射筒内周面と接触する外周面(接液部及び摺動部)にフッ素樹脂フィルム13がラミネートされ、かつ該フィルム上にフッ素系オイル14が被覆されているものであり、他にシリンジ内で薬液に接触する接液部15、摺動時にシリンジ内壁と接触する摺動部(環状シール部)16、プランジャーロッドが嵌合される嵌合穴17を有している。このような構成にすることで、優れた気密性、摺動性、タンパク質の吸着防止性が得られる。また、優れた耐薬品性も確保できる。
同様に、カテーテルにフッ素樹脂をラミネートし、更にその上にフッ素系オイルによる処理を施すことで、タンパク質の吸着防止性などを付与できる。フッ素樹脂のラミネートやフッ素系オイルによる処理は、少なくともカテーテル表面など、体液に接触する部分に施されていることが好ましく、表面全体に施されていてもよい。
更に、乗用車などの車両に使用されるタイヤのトレッドに形成された溝にフッ素樹脂をラミネートし、更にその上にフッ素系オイルによる処理を施すことで、ウエットや雪上路面における溝表面の流体抵抗が下がったり、水との接触角が上がったりするので、水や雪の排除および、はけを向上させ、グリップ性を改善できる。
図2は、空気入りタイヤ(全体不図示)のトレッド部2の展開図の一例、図3は、図2のA1-A1断面図の一例を示す。
図2~3において、中央縦溝3a(溝深さD1)、ショルダー縦溝3b(溝深さD2)は、タイヤ周方向に直線状にのびるストレート溝で構成される。このようなストレート溝は、排水抵抗を小さくし、直進走行時に高い排水性能を発揮しうる。

また、空気入りタイヤは、ショルダー縦溝3b側でタイヤ周方向にのびる細溝5(溝深さD3)、この細溝5から中央縦溝3aに向かって傾斜してのびる中間傾斜溝6(溝深さD4)、細溝5よりもタイヤ軸方向内側に位置しかつタイヤ周方向で隣り合う中間傾斜溝6、6間を接続する継ぎ溝7(溝深さD5)、ショルダー縦溝3bからタイヤ外間に向かうショルダー横溝8、8a、8b(溝深さD6)などが配され、このような溝でも排水性能が発揮しうる。そして、これらの溝にフッ素樹脂のラミネート及びフッ素系オイルによる処理を施すことで、前述の効果が発揮される。
実施例に基づいて、本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらのみに限定されるものではない。
(実施例1)
クロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1~2%)をトリアジンで架橋するとき(180℃で10分加硫)に表面(接液部及び摺動部)にフッ素樹脂フィルムをラミネートさせた。
更に、フッ素系オイル1(デュポン(株)製 KrytoxGPL104(動粘度(40℃):60mm2/s))を表面(接液部及び摺動部)に塗布して、摺動性弾性体を得た。
クロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1~2%)をトリアジンで架橋するとき(180℃で10分加硫)に表面(接液部及び摺動部)にフッ素樹脂フィルムをラミネートさせた。
更に、フッ素系オイル1(デュポン(株)製 KrytoxGPL104(動粘度(40℃):60mm2/s))を表面(接液部及び摺動部)に塗布して、摺動性弾性体を得た。
(実施例2)
フッ素系オイル1をフッ素系オイル2(デュポン(株)製 KrytoxGPL105(動粘度(40℃):160mm2/s))に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして摺動性弾性体を作製した。

(実施例3)
フッ素系オイル1をフッ素系オイル3(デュポン(株)製 KrytoxGPL107(動粘度(40℃):440mm2/s))に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして摺動性弾性体を作製した。

(実施例4)
フッ素系オイル1をフッ素系オイル4(ダイキン工業(株)製 デムナムS-65(粘度(40℃):65mm2/s)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして摺動性弾性体を作製した。

(実施例5)
フッ素系オイル1をフッ素系オイル5(ダイキン工業(株)製 デムナムS-200(粘度(40℃):200mm2/s)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして摺動性弾性体を作製した。

(比較例1)
クロロブチルゴムをトリアジンで架橋した加硫ゴム(180℃で10分加硫)を使用した。

実施例及び比較例で作製した摺動性弾性体を以下の方法で評価した。
(摩擦抵抗力)
摺動性弾性体の表面の摩擦抵抗力を測定するために、実施例、比較例で作製した加硫ゴムガスケット(摺動性弾性体)を注射器のCOP樹脂シリンジにセットし、引張試験機を用いて押し込んでいき、そのときの摩擦抵抗力を測定した(押し込み速度:30mm/min)。比較例1の摩擦抵抗力を100として、下記式を用い、各実施例について摩擦抵抗指数で示した。指数が小さい方が、摩擦抵抗力が低いことを示す。

摺動性弾性体の表面の摩擦抵抗力を測定するために、実施例、比較例で作製した加硫ゴムガスケット(摺動性弾性体)を注射器のCOP樹脂シリンジにセットし、引張試験機を用いて押し込んでいき、そのときの摩擦抵抗力を測定した(押し込み速度:30mm/min)。比較例1の摩擦抵抗力を100として、下記式を用い、各実施例について摩擦抵抗指数で示した。指数が小さい方が、摩擦抵抗力が低いことを示す。
(摩擦抵抗指数)=各実施例の摩擦抵抗力/比較例1の摩擦抵抗力×100
実施例の摺動性弾性体は、摩擦抵抗力が顕著に低下し、良好な摺動性が得られることが明らかとなった。また、シール性は、比較例1と同等であった。
(タンパク質吸着試験)
1mg/mlのウシ清血アルブミン溶液に実施例2で作製した摺動性弾性体の表面を37℃で3時間接触させて、アルブミンを吸着させた。吸着したアルブミンをJIS T9010に従い、抽出を行った。この抽出したアルブミンの量をLowry法により定量し、その値を吸着させた面積当たりの量に換算した。吸着量は0.00μg/cm2以下で、ほとんど吸着が見られず、タンパク質の吸着防止性が良好であることが明らかとなった。
1mg/mlのウシ清血アルブミン溶液に実施例2で作製した摺動性弾性体の表面を37℃で3時間接触させて、アルブミンを吸着させた。吸着したアルブミンをJIS T9010に従い、抽出を行った。この抽出したアルブミンの量をLowry法により定量し、その値を吸着させた面積当たりの量に換算した。吸着量は0.00μg/cm2以下で、ほとんど吸着が見られず、タンパク質の吸着防止性が良好であることが明らかとなった。
従って、注射器のプランジャーのガスケットに使用した場合、十分なシール性とともにプランジャーのシリンジに対する摩擦力が軽減され、注射器による処置を容易にかつ正確に行うことができる。また、タンパク質がほとんど吸着せず、タンパク質の吸着防止性も優れている。
更に、乗用車などに使用されるタイヤのトレッドに形成された溝、サイドウォール、ダイヤフラム、スキーやスノーボード板の滑走面、水泳水着、道路標識、看板などに適用することで、前述の効果も期待できる。

Claims (9)
- 表面の全部又は一部がフッ素樹脂フィルムでラミネートされた弾性体に、フッ素系オイルの処理を施した摺動性弾性体。
- 前記フッ素樹脂フィルムがポリテトラフルオロエチレン、変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、テトラフルオロエチレン・エチレン共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン・パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン・ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、ポリビニリデンフルオライド、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、又はクロロトリフルオロエチレン・エチレン共重合体である請求項1記載の摺動性弾性体。
- 前記フッ素系オイルがパーフルオロポリエーテルである請求項1又は2記載の摺動性弾性体。
- 前記フッ素系オイルの40℃における動粘度が40mm2/s以上である請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の摺動性弾性体。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の摺動性弾性体を用いた注射器用ガスケット。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の摺動性弾性体を用いたカテーテル。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の摺動性弾性体を用いたタイヤ。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の摺動性弾性体を用いて作製したサイドウォールを有するタイヤ。
