Abstract
This series of inventions relates to chemical, gas and oil branches and could be used to obtain crude helium, nitrogen, methane and liquid hydrocarbons (CV) from natural gas. The technical result of inventions is increase of nitrogen recovery rate as well as expansion of functional capabilities due to apparatus' production in a single stream of commercial methane containing 2.1 percent of nitrogen and having a Low Heating Value of 32.5 mJ/m. Additional technical results of invention are capex and energy cost reductions of gas transportation to remote customers as well as reduction of customers' cost dependant on the quality of delivered gas and reduction of inert impurities. Besides, inventions help to increase helium extraction rate (97.0 percent) and decrease the cost of pure helium production. The apparatus contains eighteen heat exchangers, demethanizer, five separators, compressor of methane cooling cycle, nitrogen enrichment column, two expander-compressor assemblies, ejector, nitrogen-methane separation column, helium column, a pump and seven throttles.
