Abstract

A connection for rock bolts (4, 5) for use in mining or tunnelling has a connecting element (1) for connecting rock bolts (4, 5) which is to be screwed onto a section (6, 7) of a rock bolt (4, 5) provided with an external thread (10, 11). The connection comprises, on the one hand, an external thread (10, 11) of the rock bolt (4, 5) formed as a round thread (12, 13) and, on the other hand, an internal thread (8, 9) of the connecting element (1) with a polygonal cross- section.
