Abstract

 ランプ装置14は、半導体発光素子38aを備える。ランプ装置14には熱伝導部28dを有する筐体20が設けられ、この熱伝導部28dが外部の放熱体に対して熱的に接続される。半導体発光素子38aで発生した熱は、熱伝導部28dを介して放熱体へ熱伝導する。感温素子54は、熱伝導部28dに熱的に接続される。ランプ装置14には半導体発光素子38aを点灯する点灯回路23が設けられ、この点灯回路23は感温素子54の検知に応じて半導体発光素子38aの出力を制御する。

Description

ランプ装置および照明装置
 本発明の実施形態は、光源として半導体発光素子を用いたランプ装置、およびこのランプ装置を用いた照明装置に関する。
 従来、例えばGX53形などのフラット形の口金を用いたランプ装置と、このランプ装置の口金を着脱可能に装着するソケットを有する照明器具とを組み合わせて使用する照明装置がある。
 ランプ装置は、口金を有する筐体、この筐体内に配置されるLED素子およびこのLED素子を点灯させる点灯回路を備えている。そして、ランプ装置は、LED素子の点灯時には、LED素子が発生する熱を筐体から照明器具の放熱体に熱伝導させて放熱する。

 例えば光出力の違いなどに応じて複数種類のランプ装置を設け、このランプ装置の種類毎に適合する複数種類の照明器具を設ける場合、互いに適合する種類のランプ装置と照明器具とを組み合わせて使用することにより、照明装置として所定の性能が得られる。
 しかしながら、不適合な種類のランプ装置と照明器具とを組み合わせて使用した場合、照明装置として所定の性能が得られない不具合がある。例えば、出力の小さいランプ装置に対応する照明器具に出力の大きいランプ装置を装着した場合、出力の小さいランプ装置に対応する照明器具では出力の大きいランプ装置の十分な放熱性が得られず、ランプ装置の放熱異常が発生するおそれがある。
 本発明が解決しようとする課題は、点灯時の放熱異常を検知し、半導体発光素子の点灯を制御できるランプ装置、およびこのランプ装置を用いた照明装置を提供することである。
 実施形態のランプ装置は、半導体発光素子を備える。ランプ装置には熱伝導部を有する筐体が設けられ、この熱伝導部が外部の放熱体に対して熱的に接続される。半導体発光素子で発生した熱は、熱伝導部を介して放熱体へ熱伝導する。感温素子は、熱伝導部に熱的に接続される。ランプ装置には半導体発光素子を点灯する点灯回路が設けられ、この点灯回路は感温素子の検知に応じて半導体発光素子の出力を制御する。

 以下、第1の実施形態を、図1ないし図4を参照して説明する。
 図3に示すように、照明装置11は、ダウンライトなどの埋込形照明装置であり、天井板12に設けられた円形の埋込孔13に埋め込まれて設置される。この照明装置11は、フラット形のランプ装置14、およびこのランプ装置14を着脱可能とする照明器具15を備えている。
 照明器具15は、下方へ向けて拡開開口された反射体16、この反射体16の上部に取り付けられた放熱体17、この放熱体17の下部に取り付けられたソケット18などを備えている。
 そして、図1に示すように、ランプ装置14は、フラット形で円筒状の筐体20を備え、この筐体20内に発光モジュール21、光学部品22および点灯回路23が配置され、筐体20の下面に透光カバー24が取り付けられている。
 筐体20は、円筒状のケース27、およびこのケース27の上面に取り付けられる円筒状の口金部材28を有している。これらケース27の上部側および口金部材28によって、所定の規格寸法の口金29が構成されている。
 ケース27は、絶縁性を有する合成樹脂にて上面部27aおよび外周部27bを有していて下面が開口された円筒状に形成されている。ケース27の上面部27aの中央には、光学部品22が挿通する挿通孔30が形成されている。ケース27の上面部27aの内周部および外周部には、点灯回路23の回路基板を支える環状の基板支え部31が形成されている。
 口金部材28は、例えばアルミダイカストなどの金属材料にて上面部28aおよび周面部28bを有していて下面が開口された円筒状に形成されている。口金部材28は、ケース27の上面部27aを通じて口金部材28に螺着される複数のねじによってケース27に取り付けられている。なお、口金部材28は、金属材料に限らず、セラミックスなどの熱伝導性に優れた材料で形成してもよい。
 口金部材28の上面部28aには、この口金部材28の上面部28aから下方へ向けて突出する突出部32が一体に形成されている。この突出部32の先端側に半導体発光素子取付部としての発光モジュール取付部28cが形成されている。この発光モジュール取付部28cの下面である取付面に発光モジュール21が熱的に接続されて取り付けられている。口金部材28の上面には熱伝導シート33が取り付けられている。また、口金部材28の周面部には、複数のキー34が突出形成されている。また、口金部材28の周縁部には、複数箇所であって周方向の非対称位置に、図示しない切欠が設けられている。
 そして、口金部材28の上面は、ランプ装置14を照明器具15に取り付けた際に、照明器具15の放熱体17に熱的に接続され、発光モジュール21(半導体発光素子)が発生する熱を外部である照明器具15の放熱体に熱伝導して放熱する熱伝導部28dとして構成されている。さらに、口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cから熱伝導部28dに亘る部分は、発光モジュール21(半導体発光素子)が発生する熱を熱伝導部28dから放熱体17に熱伝導する熱伝導経路28eとして構成されている。また、ケース27の上面部27aは、熱伝導部28dを含む口金部材28と点灯回路23との間に介在し、点灯回路23に対して熱伝導部28dを含む口金部材28を遮熱する遮熱手段35として構成されている。
 また、発光モジュール21は、基板としてのモジュール基板37、このモジュール基板37の下面に形成された発光部38、モジュール基板37の周辺を保持する枠状のホルダ39、およびモジュール基板37とこのモジュール基板37を取り付ける口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cとの間に介在する熱伝導シート40を備えている。
 モジュール基板37は、例えば、熱伝導性に優れた金属あるいはセラミックスなどの材料で平板状に形成されている。
 発光部38は、光源として例えばLED素子やEL素子などの半導体発光素子38aが用いられている。本実施形態では、半導体発光素子38aとしてLED素子が用いられ、モジュール基板37上に複数のLED素子を実装するCOB(Chip On Board)方式が採用されている。すなわち、モジュール基板37上に複数のLED素子が実装され、これら複数のLED素子がワイヤボンディングによって直列に電気的に接続され、蛍光体を混入した例えばシリコーン樹脂などの透明樹脂である蛍光体層で複数のLED素子が一体に覆われて封止されている。LED素子には例えば青色光を発するLED素子が用いられ、蛍光体層にはLED素子からの青色光の一部により励起されて黄色光を放射する蛍光体が混入されている。したがって、LED素子および蛍光体層などによって発光部38が構成され、この発光部38の表面である蛍光体層の表面が発光面となり、この発光面から照明光が放射される。なお、発光部38としては、LED素子が搭載された接続端子付きのSMD(Surface Mount Device)パッケージを基板に複数個実装する方式を用いてもよい。
 ホルダ39は、モジュール基板37を保持し、口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cとの間に熱伝導シート40およびモジュール基板37を挟み込んだ状態で、口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cに螺着される複数のねじ41によって固定されている。このホルダ39により、モジュール基板37が熱伝導シート40を介して口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cに密着され、すなわち熱的に接続され、モジュール基板37から口金部材28への良好な熱伝導性が確保されている。
 また、光学部品22は、円筒状の反射体44によって構成されている。この反射体44は、例えば絶縁性を有する合成樹脂製で、上下面が開口されるとともに上端側から下端側に向けて段階的または連続的に拡径する円筒状の光ガイド部45が形成され、この光ガイド部45の下端にケース27の下面周辺を覆う環状のカバー部46が形成されている。光ガイド部45の内面およびカバー部46の下面には、例えば白色や鏡面とする光反射率の高い反射面が形成されている。
 光ガイド部45の上部側は、点灯回路23の回路基板およびケース27の挿通孔30を貫通され、発光モジュール21の発光部38の周囲に配置されている。光ガイド部45の外周面で上下方向の中間部には、ケース27の基板支え部31との間で点灯回路23の回路基板を保持する基板押え部47が形成されている。
 また、図1および図2に示すように、点灯回路23は、例えば、商用交流電源を整流平滑して直流電源に変換する電源回路、直流電源をスイッチング素子のスイッチングにより所定の直流出力に変換してLED素子に供給することによりLED素子を点灯させるDC/DCコンバータ、スイッチング素子の発振を制御する制御ICなどを備えている。また、調光対応の点灯回路23の場合には、LED素子の電流を検出して調光信号に応じた基準値と比較し、制御ICによりスイッチング素子のスイッチング動作を制御する機能を備えている。
 点灯回路23は、基板としての回路基板50、およびこの回路基板50に実装された複数の電子部品である部品51を備えている。
 回路基板50は環状に形成され、回路基板50の中央部には反射体44の光ガイド部45の上部側が貫通する円形の貫通孔52が形成されている。回路基板50の下面が部品51のうちのリード線を有するリード部品を実装する実装面50aであり、上面がリード部品のリード線をはんだで接続するとともに部品51のうちの面実装部品を実装する配線パターンを形成した配線パターン面あるいははんだ面としての接続面50bである。
 回路基板50は、接続面50bが上に向けられて口金29または発光モジュール21に対向する状態で、ケース27内の上側位置に配置されている。回路基板50の実装面50aに実装された部品51はケース27の外周部27bと反射体44の光ガイド部45およびカバー部46との間の空間に配置されている。
 回路基板50の電源入力側には電源用の一対のランプピン53に電気的に接続され、点灯出力側には発光モジュール21のLED素子に電気的に接続されている。一対のランプピン53はケース27の上面部27aから垂直に突出されている。なお、ランプ装置14が調光対応の場合には電源用とは別に調光用の複数のランプピンがケース27の上面部27aから垂直に突出される。
 回路基板50には、例えばサーミスタなどで構成される感温素子54が実装されている。この感温素子54は、感温素子本体54a、およびこの感温素子本体54aに接続された一対のリード線54bを有し、一対のリード線54bの先端が回路基板50に電気的および機械的に接続されている。
 感温素子本体54aは、リード線54bによって回路基板50の接続面50bから離反されるとともに、ケース27の上面部27aに設けられた孔部27cを貫通して口金部材28の内側に配置され、筐体20であって口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cに対して熱的に接続されている。感温素子本体54aを口金部材28に対して熱的に接続するには、例えばシリコーン樹脂などの熱伝導材55で感温素子本体54aと口金部材28とを接着して熱的に接続したり、感温素子本体54aを口金部材28に当接させることにより、感温素子本体54aによる口金部材28の温度の検知を確実にできる。また、感温素子本体54aと口金部材28との間に隙間があっても、口金部材28からの輻射熱が感温素子本体54aに照射されることにより、感温素子本体54aによる口金部材28の温度を検知できる。
 感温素子54は、LED素子が発生する熱を熱伝導部28dから放熱体17に熱伝導する熱伝導経路28e中の温度を検知し、あるいは予め熱伝導部28dに設定されていて筐体20の温度に応じてランプ寿命を判定するためのランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を間接的に検知する。
 そして、点灯回路23は、感温素子54の検知する温度に応じてLED素子の点灯を制御するものであって、感温素子54による検知に基づき熱伝導経路28e中の温度あるいはランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を監視し、検知温度が予め設定された温度以上となる放熱異常を判定することにより、LED素子を消灯制御したり、調光対応のランプ装置14の場合にはLED素子の出力を小さくするように調光制御する。点灯回路23によるランプ寿命判定点TCの温度の監視は、感温素子54によって検知する温度に対応して予め測定などによって定められているランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を割り出すことで可能となっている。
 LED素子を消灯制御するには、例えば、制御ICが放熱異常を判定することにより、DC/DCコンバータのスイッチング素子の発振を停止させる。また、LED素子を調光制御するには、例えば、制御ICが放熱異常を判定することにより、LED素子の実際の検出電圧に所定のダミー電圧を付加した電圧値に基づいてLED素子の出力を小さくするように調光したり、LED素子の検出電流を比較する調光信号に応じた基準値の閾値を変更してLED素子の出力を小さくするように調光する。
 図4には、ランプ装置14の放熱異常の検知時に点灯回路23によりLED素子57を調光制御する例を示す。複数のLED素子57に電圧検出回路の抵抗R1が接続され、また、比較器58の一方の入力端子にLED素子57と抵抗R1との接続点からLED素子57の電圧が入力され、比較器58の他方の入力端子に基準電圧源59から調光度合に応じた基準電圧が入力される。比較器58の比較結果が制御IC60に入力され、制御IC60がDC/DCコンバータのスイッチング素子を制御し、LED素子57を調光制御する。そして、点灯回路23では、感温素子54の検知温度から放熱異常を判定すると、LED素子57と抵抗R1との接続点にダミー電圧源61からのダミー電圧が印加されるように構成されている。これにより、比較器58の一方の入力端子にはLED素子57の電圧とダミー電圧とを加算した電圧が入力されるため、制御IC60はその加算電圧と基準電圧と比較してLED素子57の出力を小さくするように調光制御する。
 また、透光カバー24は、透光性および拡散性を有し、例えば合成樹脂やガラスによって円板状に形成されている。透光カバー24は、ケース27の下面の開口部を覆ってこのケース27に取り付けられている。その取付状態では、透光性カバー24とケース27との間で反射体44のカバー部46を挟み込んで保持している。
 次に、図3に示すように、照明器具15は、反射体16、放熱体17およびソケット18を備えるとともに、放熱体17の上部に取付板64によって取り付けられた端子台65や、放熱体17の周囲に取り付けられた天井取付用の複数の取付ばね66などを備えている。
 反射体16の頂部には、放熱体17が露出する円形の開口部68が形成されている。
 また、放熱体17は、例えばアルミダイカストなどの金属、セラミックス、放熱性に優れた樹脂などの材料によって形成されている。放熱体17は、円柱状の基部69、およびこの基部69の周囲から放射状に突出する複数の放熱フィン70を有している。基部69の下面には、反射体16の開口部68を通じて反射体16内に露出する平面状の接触面71が形成されている。基部69の周囲には、取付ばね66が取り付けられている。
 また、ソケット18は、絶縁性を有する合成樹脂製で環状に形成されたソケット本体73、およびこのソケット本体73に配置された図示しない電源用の一対の端子を備えている。調光対応の場合には、調光用の複数の端子も備えている。
 ソケット本体73の中央には、ランプ装置14の口金29の口金部材28が挿通する円形の開口部74が形成されている。ソケット本体73の下面には、ランプ装置14のランプピン53が挿入される複数の接続孔75が周方向に沿って長孔状に形成されている。各接続孔75の上側に端子が配置されており、接続孔75に挿入されたランプ装置14のランプピン53が端子に電気的に接続される。
 ソケット本体73の内周面には、複数のキーが突出形成されているとともに、複数の略L字形のキー溝が形成されている。ソケット18のキー溝とランプ装置14のキー34とはそれぞれ対応する位置に設けられている。そして、ソケット18のキーに対してランプ装置14の切欠は所定位置で挿入可能となるように構成されている。すなわち、ランプ装置14は、ランプ装置14の切欠とソケット18のキーおよびランプ装置14のキー34とソケット18のキー溝とによって回転方向の位置合わせが行われる。ランプ装置14のキー34および切欠をソケット18のキー溝およびキーに合わせてランプ装置14の口金29をソケット18に挿入し、ランプ装置14を回動させることによりランプ装置14をソケット18に着脱可能に装着することができる。
 ソケット18は支持機構76によって放熱体17に支持されている。この支持機構76では、ソケット18にランプ装置14の口金29が装着されることにより、その口金29の熱伝導部28dを放熱体17の接触面71に押し付けて密着させ、熱的に接続するように構成されている。
 また、端子台65は、ソケット18の端子と電気的に接続されている。
 そして、このようにランプ装置14と照明器具15とで構成される照明装置11において、ランプ装置14を照明器具15に装着するには、ランプ装置14の口金29を照明器具15のソケット18に挿入して所定角度回動させることにより、口金29の各キー34とソケット18の各キー溝とが互いに嵌り合って引っ掛かり、ランプ装置14をソケット18に取り付けることができる。これにより、口金29の各ランプピン53がソケット18の各端子に接触して電気的に接続され、また、口金29の熱伝導部28dが放熱体17の接触面71に押し付けられて密着し、熱伝導部28dと放熱体17とが熱的に接続され、熱伝導部28dから放熱体17に効率よく熱伝導可能となる。
 また、ランプ装置14の点灯時には、商用交流電源が端子台65、ソケット18の端子およびランプ装置14のランプピン53を通じて点灯回路23に給電され、この点灯回路23により発光モジュール21のLED素子に点灯電力が供給され、LED素子が点灯する。LED素子の点灯によって発光部38から放出される光が、反射体44の光ガイド部45内を進行し、透光カバー24を透過して、照明器具15の下面開口から出射される。
 ランプ装置14の点灯時において、発光モジュール21のLED素子が発生する熱は、モジュール基板37から口金部材28の発光モジュール取付部28cに熱伝導され、この発光モジュール取付部28cから熱伝導部28dに熱伝導され、熱伝導部28dから放熱体17に熱伝導され、すなわち、LED素子が発生する熱が熱伝導経路28eを通じて放熱体17に熱伝導される。放熱体17に熱伝導された熱は、複数の放熱フィン70を含む放熱体17の表面から空気中に放熱される。
 また、点灯回路23の部品51が発生する熱は、ケース27の外周部27bや透光カバー24に伝わり、これらケース27の外周部27bや透光カバー24の表面から空気中に放熱される。
 また、ランプ装置14の点灯時において、点灯回路23は感温素子54で検知される温度を監視している。すなわち、点灯回路23は、感温素子54による検知に基づき熱伝導経路28e中の温度あるいはランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を監視し、検知温度が予め設定された温度以上となる放熱異常となったか判定する。
 ところで、このようにランプ装置14と照明器具15とで構成される照明装置11において、例えば、発光モジュール21の出力の違いに応じて複数種類のランプ装置14を設け、放熱性能の違いに応じてランプ装置14の種類毎に適合する照明器具15を複数種類設ける場合には、ランプ装置14の出力に応じて照明器具15の放熱性能を最適化し、適合するランプ装置14と照明器具15とを組み合わせて使用することになる。
 この際、出力の小さいランプ装置14を出力の大きいランプ装置14が適合する照明器具15に装着しても、ランプ装置14の放熱性が過剰となるだけで、ランプ装置14の所望の放熱性能を達成することができる。一方、出力の大きいランプ装置14を出力の小さいランプ装置14に適合する照明器具15に装着すると、ランプ装置14の所望の放熱性能を達成することができず、ランプ装置14の放熱異常が発生するおそれがある。
 ランプ装置14を適合する照明器具15に装着し、あるいは出力の小さいランプ装置14を出力の大きいランプ装置14が適合する照明器具15に装着し、ランプ装置14の所望の放熱性能が達成されている場合には、感温素子54で検知される温度が予め設定された正常な範囲内にある。そのため、点灯回路23では、正常と判断し、LED素子の点灯を継続する。
 一方、出力の大きいランプ装置14を出力の小さいランプ装置14に適合する照明器具15に装着し、ランプ装置14の所望の放熱性能が達成されない場合には、所望の放熱性能が達成されている場合に比べて、LED素子が発生する熱の放熱体17への熱伝導性が低下し、口金部材28に蓄熱されて口金部材28の温度が上昇する。これにより、熱伝導経路28e中の温度あるいはランプ寿命判定点TCの温度が上昇し、感温素子54で検知する温度が予め設定された正常な範囲を超えて放熱異常となる範囲となる。点灯回路23では、放熱異常と判定することにより、LED素子を消灯制御したり、調光対応のランプ装置14の場合にはLED素子の出力を小さくするように調光制御し、LED素子の発熱量を抑制する。
 LED素子の発熱量を抑制することにより、検知温度が正常な範囲内に戻った場合には、LED素子を消灯制御や調光制御のまま継続して維持させておいてもよいし、正常時の制御に復帰させてもよい。
 また、ランプ装置14を適合する照明器具15に装着し、あるいは出力の小さいランプ装置14を出力の大きいランプ装置14が適合する照明器具15に装着した場合でも、何らかの取付不良で、熱伝導部28dが放熱体17に熱的に接続されないなど、ランプ装置14の所望の放熱性能が達成されなければ、上述のように、点灯回路23では、放熱異常を判定し、LED素子の発熱量を抑制する。
 また、点灯回路23は、感温素子54による検知に基づきランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を監視し、検知温度が予め設定された温度以上となるランプ寿命と判定し、例えば、点灯回路23の動作を停止制御する。このランプ寿命判定点TCの温度の監視は、感温素子54によって検知する温度に対応して予め測定などによって定められているランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を割り出すことで可能となっている。
 そして、本実施形態によれば、筐体20の熱伝導部28dが放熱体17に熱的に接続されてLED素子が発生する熱を放熱体17に熱伝導するランプ装置14において、熱伝導部28dに熱的に接続した感温素子54による検知により、LED素子が発生する熱が熱伝導部28dから放熱体17に熱伝導される状況を把握し、熱伝導部28dから放熱体17への熱伝導不良による放熱異常を検知できる。そのため、放熱異常の検知に応じてLED素子を消灯や調光といった制御を行うことにより、ランプ装置14の発熱量を抑制し、ランプ装置14の異常発熱を防止することができる。
 また、感温素子54は、LED素子が発生する熱を熱伝導部28dから放熱体17へ熱伝導する熱伝導経路28eの温度を検知するため、放熱異常を確実に検知することができる。
 また、感温素子54は、熱伝導部28dに設けられた温度に応じてランプ寿命を判定するランプ寿命判定点TCの温度を検知するため、感温素子54を放熱異常の検知とランプ寿命の検知とに兼用でき、ランプ装置14の構成を簡素化できる。
 また、遮熱手段35により熱伝導部28dと点灯回路23とを遮熱するため、点灯回路23の部品51が発生する熱が熱伝導部28dに伝わるのを抑制し、点灯回路23の部品51が発生する熱の影響を受けて感温素子54が誤検知するのを防止でき、放熱異常を正確に検知することができる。
 なお、熱伝導部28dと点灯回路23とを遮熱する遮熱手段35としては、ケース27の上面部27aを利用することで部品点数を削減することができるが、例えば遮熱シートなどの別の遮熱部材を用いてもよい。
 次に、図5に第2の実施形態を示す。
 口金部材28の突出部32および発光モジュール取付部28cは、透光カバー24側に近付くように、上面部28aからの突出量が大きく、ケース27の挿通孔30に侵入されている。なお、突出部32および発光モジュール取付部28cは、ケース27の挿通孔30や回路基板50の貫通孔52を貫通して透光カバー24により近付くように、上面部28aからの突出量をより大きくしてもよい。
 このように大きく突出する発光モジュール取付部28cによって発光モジュール21が透光カバー24側に近付くことにより、光の取り出し効率を向上させることができる。
 この場合、発光モジュール取付部28cから熱伝導部28dまでの熱伝導経路28eが長くなるとともに熱伝導経路28eと点灯回路23とが接近し、点灯回路23からの熱影響を受けやすくなるため、熱伝導経路28eと点灯回路23との間に遮熱手段35を配置して遮熱するように構成されている。遮熱手段35は、ケース27の上面部27aおよび内周部27dで構成されているが、別の遮熱部材を用いてもよい。
 感温素子54の感温素子本体54aは、ケース27の内周面27dに形成された孔部27cを通じてケース27の内周面27dと突出部32の周面との間に配置されるとともに、突出部32の周面に直接接触され、さらに、熱伝導材55で接着保持されて熱的に接触されている。
 そして、この実施形態においても、前記実施形態と同様の作用効果を奏する。
 本発明のいくつかの実施形態を説明したが、これらの実施形態は、例として提示したものであり、発明の範囲を限定することは意図していない。これら新規な実施形態は、その他の様々な形態で実施されることが可能であり、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で、種々の省略、置き換え、変更を行うことができる。これら実施形態やその変形は、発明の範囲や要旨に含まれるとともに、特許請求の範囲に記載された発明とその均等の範囲に含まれる。

Claims (6)

  1.  半導体発光素子と;
     外部の放熱体に対して熱的に接続されて前記半導体発光素子が発生する熱を前記放熱体へ熱伝導する熱伝導部を有する筐体と;
     前記熱伝導部に熱的に接続される感温素子と;
     前記感温素子の検知に応じて前記半導体発光素子を制御する点灯回路と;
     を具備していることを特徴とするランプ装置。
  2.  前記感温素子は、前記半導体発光素子が発生する熱を前記熱伝導部から前記放熱体へ熱伝導する熱伝導経路の温度を検知する
     ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ装置。
  3.  前記感温素子は、ランプ寿命を判定するために前記熱伝導部に設定されたランプ寿命判定点の温度を検知する
     ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ装置。
  4.  前記半導体発光素子と前記点灯回路とは、それぞれが別の基板に実装されている
     ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ装置。
  5.  前記熱伝導部と前記点灯回路とを遮熱する遮熱手段を具備している
     ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4いずれか一記載のランプ装置。
  6.  請求項1ないし5いずれか一記載のランプ装置と;
     前記ランプ装置の熱伝導部が熱的に接続される放熱体と;
     を具備していることを特徴とする照明装置。
