Abstract

A vehicle (1) is described, comprising: wheels (2) driven by at least one electromotor (10); two accumulators (21, 22) for selectively supplying the electromotor (10); a generator (40) driven by a combustion engine (30) for selectively charging one of the accumulators (21,22); first switching means (50) arranged between the generator (40) and the accumulators (21, 22) for selectively coupling the output current of the generator (40) to one of the accumulators (21, 22); second switching means (60) arranged between the accumulators (21, 22) and the electromotor (10) for selectively coupling one of the accumulators (21, 22) as supply source to the electromotor (10); a control member (70) controlling the first and second switching means (50, 60) in such a manner that always one of the accumulators (21, 22) is used as supply source for supplying current to the electromotor (10) driving the wheels (2) while the other accumulator (22, 21) is recharged by the generator (40) driven by the combustion engine (30).
